Another table that sat after us got their food before us. Ordered the pho, had two different types of noodles, and one was completely uncooked. It was freezing when I came to get a pickup order. They had no working heating AC. The tables were a mess; seats pushed out all the way and all of the seats had rips in them. I waited 45 minutes for an order that I ordered ahead of the time in the freezing cold restaurant and there was only one couple seated the whole place was empty. My mom, husband, and I wanted pho after church. This was the closest pho spot to church. The place just opened for the day and we were the only customers there for the entirety of our meal. The pho broth was different. Not the same flavor I'm used to, but it wasn't bad. I kind of liked it. My husband was the one who ordered the pho and I only took a sip of the broth so I can't really pinpoint what made it different. I saw that they had a Cornish game hen on the menu, but they didn't have any so I ordered a vermicelli bowl instead. It was pretty good. My mom also ordered pho. She seemed to like it. The spring rolls tasted fresh. Not really any complaints overall . The service was good and the ambiance was sleek and modern. The only thing I had a problem with was the price. It seemed this place was a little pricey for the pho and the vermicelli bowl. On top of that, they charge an "inflation fee". Just add that into the price of the food. Walked in and stood there for 5 minutes before we had to walk to kitchen area to let them know we were there. The lady was very apologetic and told us we could sit anywhere. We waited another 10 minutes before the server came to our table. Finally got our order put in and that took almost 30 minutes. I ordered steamed dumplings and they looked like mush. My crunchy bird nest dish looked great on the plate but the taste fell short. Very bland and lacking any type of seasoning. Not sure why this place has 4 stars, the place itself needs some tlc. Preemptively asked how long an order would take; "30 minutes". I asked them to lead with the appetizers (our kids were hungry on the way to an appointment). A couple walked in at about the 15 minute mark. At 20 minutes, the couple received water first. 40 minutes; waved, the couple also received appetizers first. Another 5 minutes before arrival. Peanut sauce loaded with sugar. Spring roll wraps, dry. Decided at 1 hour mark to leave. On the way out, counted more COCKROACHES than people. Summary: dirty restaurant; apathetic, aloof, waiter, who lacked the decency to acknowledge and compensate for flaws. Yuk. Lesson to kids on the limits of patience. Zero stars, if possible. read more

Wonderpho is absolutely wonderful! Portions are huge, prices are cheap, the food is always consistently delicious and fresh, and you can't go wrong with any item on the entire and very expansive menu. They have the best tasting beef pho broth (and best pho period) in all of DFW, and they don't skimp on all the fresh veggie sides. Their wontons and wontons soup are delicious. And their torpedo shrimp and crab rangoons are to die for Also, their fresh spring rolls are the bomb. We like every variety offered equally. We have been eating here twice a week for over a year, and have never had anything that is not spectacular! And they make the best boba teas in almost of DFW hands down. Delivery and/or pick up is every bit as good as dine-in, which is super hard to accomplish. It's such great, fresh, tasty food and such a great value for your dollar; this is one place you should not miss. I can't recommend it highly enough! read more

Consistently good my boyfriend loves their eye of round steak pho and I love the shrimp pho! We were impressed with how much meat they give you. If you want good food, just Door Dash with these guys 1st attempt, lunch with my girlfriend, and we had to wait forever to get service. We were the only ones in the place ... Nuts , but gave them the benefit of the doubt since this was my first time dining in. Tried again, a few weeks later ... Really tried this time to be patient, but here I am again, disappointed in the service. 2:00 on a Tuesday, only 4 customers, plus me. I had to get up to remind them I was here ... Waiting for them to take my order. This is my 2nd time here. The food was ok the first time so I came back the 2nd time because my favorite pho place closed. This time the pho was very salty and I have to drink bottles of water the entire night. I couldn't even finish the noddles cause it was salty. One thing that I was surprised and upset at was when I got my check and they charge "inflation fee" they said because the cost of the food went up. Well, it should reflect it in the food price not charge me after I order. I wasn't being inform of the inflation fee before I place my order. Very clean, nicely decorated, and was greeted immediately We always get spring rolls but this place had so many varieties which was great. We settled on boiled shrimp spring rolls and 2 eye of round and lean brisket pho's (1 large, 1 small). Loved that they had pictures of the meat options. Spring rolls were fabulous! The peanut sauce was soooo good. Pho broth was good, nothing over the top. We noticed very quickly that there was very little meat. Literally 4 pieces of brisket and barely noted any eye of round. Additionally, the noodles were still very stuck in their form and really had to wait for them to keep cooking and really working them apart with a fork and chop stick. I've never had to do this with my noodles any other time I've had pho. Jalapeños were not freshly sliced, you could see where the edges were dried up. Basil had a slimy film on it so that was disappointing. Once it was jazzed up with sriracha, lime. etc, it wast too bad. Service was quick and friendly. I get the check and realize there's a 10% inflation fee added. I'm all for understanding inflation however, I do not feel in any way we received $40 worth of food. Had there been more meat and fresh ingredients , I wouldn't argue the inflation up charge. Overall, I was disappointed. Talk about a clean pho broth filled with nutrients and that hydrated you after a greasy meal. This is the place to go! Tasted authentic (better than some of the pho I've had in San Francisco). I appreciated how one of the employees brought out their WonderPho spicy sauce for us-it had some chili flakes/oil in it. It gave our pho a good kick! Also their beef balls tasted fresh and homemade. With the stir fry you pick your protein, I got the combination, and there are 5 types of noodles to select from. I had the Pad Thai I believe it was. It was really good!!! The service is decent. My family and I always come to get their chicken pho and spring rolls, sometimes just the spring rolls if money is tight. But the food is to die for and reasonably priced for the amount of food. Wonderpho replaced an Italian restaurant. I was amused that it is still the same set up inside as the italian restaurant. They have pho, beef stews, wings, and a whole page dedicated to spring rolls. You can customize/BYO pho from a variety of meats, seafood, or veggie options. I got the eye of round pho. It was very clean tasting. The broth was lovely. That's the only way to describe it. To me it only needed a little bit of bean sprouts, a few slices of jalapeno, and lime/lemon. Maybe not even that. Taste the broth before you squirt half the bottle of sriracha in. At least imo, it doesn't really need much. My daughter customized hers. She got veggies and shrimp. I think the veggies and the shrimp changed the broth slightly because I enjoyed hers. Grab a "2 buck Chuck" from TJ's, then walk over to WonderPho and enjoy with your meal. We were greeted warmly and told that we could select our own table. The restaurant was clean, dimly lit, and cozy. We ordered the grilled shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer. The appetizer was the perfect size for two and was delicious. The shrimp had real grill marks on them - we could taste the grilled goodness. For entrees, we went with the beef pho and the satay vermicelli with chicken & beef. Both dishes were winners and like the spring rolls, brimming with fresh ingredients and good seasoning. They were sized well. I ended up taking home some of my vermicelli. Our waiter was nice and attentive. They offer a nice $9 lunch menu deal. The full menu offers a lot of options that will please even strict vegetarians. Disappointing service and gross dining areas, but the food is good. Parking: The lot is shared with multiple businesses and restaurants. You might have trouble getting something close to the door. Seating & decor: We went for lunch and had our choice of where to sit. There was only 2 other tables seated and over 15 empty tables. The tables and chairs are left from the prior business, so they are well worn. Several of the wood tables have warped tops. Likewise, they've had a leak and the wood floor is in bad shape. I've attached photos showing the damage and attempted repair. They placed a potted plant near the area, but watch out as you could easily trip on the floor boards. Just above the damaged floor is the damaged ceiling tiles (photo attached). Besides bulging, they are discolored; indicating possible mold. Service: Horrible. We had to wait for menus. We had to wait for drinks. We had to wait to have our order to be taken. We had to ask for drink refills. We had to ask for the pho veggies (the plate of sprouts, basil, jalapenos, etc.). Our appetizer came after the entrees. AND THERE WERE ONLY TWO OTHER TABLES SEATED! Someone was smoking in the back and cigarette smoke wafted through to the dining area a couple of times. Food: Pretty good. Once the veggies were delivered, the pho was tasty. We also tried the wok fried beef over crispy noodles. It had good flavor. Parting gift: As we left, I glanced to the patio at the entrance. There is a broken fountain on the patio. It was full of empty beer cans. Photo attached. But not to give such a hard review off the bat but I judge a pho place by how good their spring roll sauce tastes and also their spicy beef noodle soup or their bun Bo hue and with that, it was mediocre. Wonder Pho is amazing. We typically go for lunch. The bun lunch specials are incredibly large. I mean you get a salad, fresh spring roll or egg roll and usually we have enough for two meals as leftovers. I'll have to look for some photos.
