    Lemongrass beef vermicelli
    Grace A.

My mom, husband, and I wanted pho after church. This was the closest pho spot to church. The place just opened for the day and we were the only customers there for the entirety of our meal. The pho broth was different. Not the same flavor I'm used to, but it wasn't bad. I kind of liked it. My husband was the one who ordered the pho and I only took a sip of the broth so I can't really pinpoint what made it different. I saw that they had a Cornish game hen on the menu, but they didn't have any so I ordered a vermicelli bowl instead. It was pretty good. My mom also ordered pho. She seemed to like it. The spring rolls tasted fresh. Not really any complaints overall . The service was good and the ambiance was sleek and modern. The only thing I had a problem with was the price. It seemed this place was a little pricey for the pho and the vermicelli bowl. On top of that, they charge an "inflation fee". Just add that into the price of the food. Not sure if I would come here again. There are cheaper pho places that serve the same quality of food. I just have to drive out a little further from church.

I love the Pho Thai here. Their broth is very comforting to me. They are super nice. I've never eaten in, always take away and they don't include basil; next time I'll ask specifically. Their spring rolls are my absolute favorite! It's not convenient to my house but when I don't feel great, especially on a cold day, this is my comfort food.

A casual, pleasant vibe with a varied & tasty menu. My beef drunken noodles was comforting with noodles cooked just right with tender & tasty beef and veggies. Shrimp spring roll & peanut sauce was fabulous! Veggie pho that my friends ordered was delicious; came with tofu fyi. Service was friendly. It is a nice option in the world of Pho with other options to satisfy most cravings.

We've been here a few times, one of the many pho places we've tried in DFW, and we have to say it's one of our faves!! Consistently good my boyfriend loves their eye of round steak pho and I love the shrimp pho! We were impressed with how much meat they give you. I also recommend trying the appetizer sampler if you have room for it!!

    Wt, INFLATION FEE?!

This is my 2nd time here. The food was ok the first time so I came back the 2nd time because my favorite pho place closed. This time the pho was very salty and I have to drink bottles of water the entire night. I couldn't even finish the noddles cause it was salty. One thing that I was surprised and upset at was when I got my check and they charge "inflation fee" they said because the cost of the food went up. Well, it should reflect it in the food price not charge me after I order. I wasn't being inform of the inflation fee before I place my order. I don't thjnk this is the right way to do business so I won't come back.

Came in for Pho today because with this crazy Texas weather....it was needed. Decided on a new spot instead of our usual. Came in and was very quiet, however it was past lunchtime. Very clean, nicely decorated, and was greeted immediately We always get spring rolls but this place had so many varieties which was great. We settled on boiled shrimp spring rolls and 2 eye of round and lean brisket pho's (1 large, 1 small). Loved that they had pictures of the meat options. Spring rolls were fabulous! The peanut sauce was soooo good. Pho broth was good, nothing over the top. We noticed very quickly that there was very little meat. Literally 4 pieces of brisket and barely noted any eye of round. Additionally, the noodles were still very stuck in their form and really had to wait for them to keep cooking and really working them apart with a fork and chop stick. I've never had to do this with my noodles any other time I've had pho. Jalapeños were not freshly sliced, you could see where the edges were dried up. Basil had a slimy film on it so that was disappointing. Once it was jazzed up with sriracha, lime. etc, it wast too bad. Service was quick and friendly. I get the check and realize there's a 10% inflation fee added. I'm all for understanding inflation however, I do not feel in any way we received $40 worth of food. Had there been more meat and fresh ingredients , I wouldn't argue the inflation up charge. Overall, I was disappointed. My daughter asked we go to our normal spot next time (Khan's on McCart).

Imma keep this one brief asf....we ordered and they had to close the store. 100% weirdest experience at a restaurant. Don't go here after 12PM. The food is good though, but everything else about that place is insane. Ion even wanna be funny it was just weird man

The food was mediocre at best (and that's being nice). I got noodles for my daughter that tasted so bad. I tasted them after I had given them to her and felt guilty for giving them to her (she didn't even touch them after one bite, btw). The chicken they used tasted like it was old, there was an odd taste/odor to it. The bún thịt nướng was good, though. That was the only thing was good on our order. Also an inflation fee of 10%?!I feel like this was such a hidden fee to help them pay to have their restaurant opened...not sure why we are having to pay for this? It's pure laziness. Just raise your prices if you have to...instead of pulling this move of a hidden fee AFTER we already got our food. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

    Stir fry noodle combination.

We've been a few times to this particular spot. The Pho is really good! Bone broth has a great flavor. Our most recent trip I tried the stir fired noodles. With the stir fry you pick your protein, I got the combination, and there are 5 types of noodles to select from. I had the Pad Thai I believe it was. It was really good!!! The service is decent. Usually have to ask for refills and such. Hey don't really volunteer it. The place has never been full or super busy when we've been in the evenings. It's worth a stop for sure.

Second, the decor was beautiful and the vibe was giving a tree house. And the reason why you're reading this, the food! Takoyaki 10/10: Very delicious and crispy takoyaki with mayo on the bottom. Seared Hotate: This was the appetizer that shook me and my friends. Wabi House has somehow turned scallops into steak. They were very delicious, tender, and juicy. Unfortunate that it only came with 4 pieces Very delicious ramen with chewy noodles! All of these noodles held their sauces and soups very well. Our only complaint with the general noodle dishes were that they had little meat or only one slice of meat. The slice was so delicious and tender, it fell apart when I bit into it! Unfortunately wish I had more. Shoyu Ramen 8/10: A very good savory standard ramen! Not sure how to describe the flavor but it is just a good salty soup when you want something heartful and salty. Spicy Miso 6/10: Not much to it but spice! It came with no meat and I could unfortunately only taste the spice. Dry Garlic 7/10: I did not actually expect for this to have no soup, I guess I should read better, but this was delicious! If you love garlic, this is for you! It helped with my cravings and was so filling. Didn't get to try any dessert but maybe next time!

Should've done a side-by-side, but it was only me. Lol. The fish was exquisite. The heat was also good. This dish pairs really well with rice; I also enjoy taking the leftovers home, letting them sit overnight in the fridge, and enjoying with more rice. Mmm! But I am from out of town and was alone, so I ate it all there. They don't have WiFi, but there was some "guest Frontier" WiFi that was good for an hour. (And you can refresh it each hour.) Next time, I would try the "Szechuan Boiled Fish." Or if that's too much, the Mapo Tofu. The radio was playing like Christian soul; new to me, but as a Christian, I didn't mind. =) Oh, and in the pic I have my Kefir from Trader Joe's. I wanted something dairy to counter the heat, if needed. Mmm.

All the food was on the expensive side, but I heard it was good, so I didn't mine. One of the first thing I noticed was the entrees do not come with rice. There is a $1 up charge for white rice and $3 for fried rice, $5 for noodles. I have never experienced a Chinese restaurant that charged for white rice with an entree (not even PF Chang). I arrived 10 minutes after the time I was told my food would be ready. I checked in at the register and was told it would be another 5 minutes. I was told to have a seat and wait. Since there is no place to sit when waiting for a take out order, I sat down in the closet booth next to the register. After about 1 minute, a very rude lady came over in broken English and screamed that I could not sit there. I told her I was waiting on a to-go order and she just kept screaming "you don't can sit there", so I got up and stood by the front door. If my food had not already been paid for, I would have left after that rude encounter. The ambiance of the restaurant is very strange as they had a boombox loudly playing 80s music. It was so load, I felt bad for the customers who were eating at there. No way you could enjoy siting there listening to the annoying loud music while you ate. About 5 minutes later (15 minutes past the time they originally told me it would be ready) my food was ready. The food did come out very hot. I retrieved my food and took it home to enjoy. Overall the food is very basic and not worth the elevated price. The egg rolls were over fried and greasy. The spicy wonton were very bland and not spicy at all. The general Tso chicken was not good. Very small pieces of chicken, over breaded and a bland sauce. Again not spicy at all. The fried flat rice noodles were the biggest disappointment. Mushy noodles that were all stuck together. Not good at all. Overall the Noodle Works was a big disappointment. There are so many better option in the area (Dragon House or the Wok). Do yourself a favor and skip the rude staff Noodle Works.
