The food was very expensive, which is why I'm complaining in the first place. The summer rolls were delicious. I'll give you that. But I got the veggie with tofu, first thing as it was absolutely a beef bone broth and their menu does not designate that the veggie contains meat even though it's a veggie soup with tofu. But the real problem was that it only had three pieces of small broccoli stalk and cabbage and onion. And the cabbage had black discolorations on it. Which may have been safe to eat, but at this price, the quality control made my meal on appetizing. I've been to pho restaurants where the veggie pho had many different veggies in it... these veggies sucked.

I happened to be in the vicinity of this restaurant and decided to stop in for lunch. They had a pho combo that came with any of the noodle soups, a spring or summer roll and a beverage so I went with that (Tai Gau Pho, Summer Roll & Diet Coke). I absolutely loved the pho! Flavors were on point, meat was plentiful and the noodles were perfectly cooked. One thing I wish was that it had more broth but other than that it was perfect! The summer roll was a shrimp and chicken mixture but the noodles in the roll were a bit overcooked but otherwise it hit the mark on what you'd expect from a Vietnamese summer roll. Lastly, I visited in the afternoon and was the only customer dining in and service was a B-

Pho with eye round and well done brisket

The food was good, the service was pretty good, and the restaurant was empty. When I walked in, I didn't know what I was supposed to do: order, pay, and sit down or go to a table and sit down and wait to order, so I went up to the cashier, and she directed me to a table and provided me a menu. When she brought my water, I was ready to place my order. I got my usual summer rolls and a combination of eye round and well-done brisket pho. Surprisingly, the summer rolls took a few minutes to come out. Usually, in other places, they come out immediately like they were premade. But not here; I believe they were made to order, which puts this pho restaurant above the others. As I finished my last few bites of the summer rolls, they timed it well and brought out the piping-hot bowl of Pho. It was filled to the top with broth, meat, and noodles, and when I dumped in the bean sprouts, mint, jalapenos, lime, and some sriracha, it was ready to be demolished. After eating the summer rolls, I seemed to get full very quickly and wanted a take-out container, but my server was nowhere to be found, and anytime I looked over in her direction when she was across the room, she never came over to me. After I ordered, she never returned. Not good customer service. Before paying my bill, I had to go to the register to get a takeout container. So, I downgraded a star because the waitstaff never returned after ordering. What if I needed more water or something else? A customer should never have to seek out the waitstaff at a restaurant. But regarding the food, A+, and I will be back.

Nothing exceptional but good quality, good food And a fair amount of steak in mine for $16. I wish I could say the same about the service or lack there of provided by the two young female servers. For starters, they have zero communication skills. They drop things at the table and just stand there without a word. I did not receive the Vietnamese coffee that I ordered until I asked for it nor was I asked whether or not I wanted it with whipped cream - there's was no description on the menu so I wasn't aware it came with whipped cream. When we placed our order we asked for extra cilantro and received no cilantro at all. Once the runner delivered our food no one came over to ask how everything had turned out, if we needed anything else etc. The lack of communication, lack of attention to detail and quite frankly complete lack of personality turned a pleasant afternoon meal into a disappointment. It's a shame because I saw several other things on the menu that I'd like to try but I'm not interested in being in that unpleasant atmosphere again

After seeing that Pho Duong was getting good reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were here on a Sunday around 4:30. That was a good time to go as there were only two occupied tables at the time. When we entered, an employee was eating his meal. He told us to pick any table we wanted. After doing so, he gave us menus plus a carafe of iced tap water, which we appreciated. I ordered a small bowl of pho ga with white meat chicken, and my husband ordered a large bowl of pho with seafood. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. It was piping hot and accompanied by aromatics consisting of bean sprouts, fresh mint, lime wedges, and sliced fresh jalapeños. As for the food, we both liked the beef broth. My bowl had some large shredded pieces as well as smaller pieces of chicken. The larger ones were on the dry side, but the broth helped by adding moisture. My husband's large bowl had a good number of shrimps as well as seafood, which he couldn't identify. He showed me one piece that looked like a scallop to him, but he said it didn't taste like one. I also thought, from what he showed me, there was some squid in the bowl. Service was excellent from start to finish. When it's time to pay, you go to the counter, and an employee will ring you up. The place was kept very clean. While the decor is spare, it gives off the vibe of a good spot to enjoy a meal. And, yes, next time we want pho, this is where we'll go.

Indeed, most of the Vietnamese clientele in the small restaurant seemed to be enjoying hot bowls of bun bo hue, so I went with a bowl of that and my non-beef-eating wife chose the bun rieu. The bun bo hue possessed a clean yet very flavorful broth with notes of lemongrass and hot chili. The meat portions included generous slices of beef shank, pork trotter, blood cake, and pork sausage. Some of the beef shank cuts were a little tough, but the meats otherwise tasted up to par. The accoutrement of herbs and veggies included some authentic, hard to find garnishes such as banana blossom and Vietnamese coriander, which added a fresh, crunchy bite to complement the heady soup. Overall, this was an excellent bun bo hue and rivals many you can get at Eden Center. Similarly, my wife's bun rieu was superb. The broth had a light body but a very distinct and savory shellfish flavor. The crab and shrimp paste had a very silky texture and the bouncy fried tofu cubes soaked up the tomatoey broth perfectly. The bun rieu ran just a touch salty overall, but nonetheless is among the better renditions we have tasted in the area. Our bowls were about $18 each. While a bit steep, the portions satisfied and the quality of ingredients merited the cost. As the name alludes, bubble tea is also served here. My wife enjoyed a solid taro milk tea along with her noodle soup. We have gotten drinks from here in the past and find the offerings above average though, unlike the awesome soups, not necessarily worthy of a dedicated stop. Teabreak also serves other Vietnamese dishes such as banh mi and meats over broken rice, which actually looked quite appetizing coming out of the kitchen. I give this place a solid 4 stars for really tasty, specialty noodle soups and can easily foresee a five star upgrade in the near future after sampling some more dishes.

Ordering is quick and easy through the iPad, and I went with the Beef Perfect Bowl over rice. The portion alone impressed me. It came piled high with grilled beef, fresh greens, rice, and even an egg roll, making it feel like a complete meal rather than just a rice bowl. The beef was flavorful, the vegetables added a nice freshness, and while I'm trying to cut back on carbs, I have to admit the sticky rice soaked up all the savory sauce and was hard to stop eating. The only thing I would do differently next time is ask for jalapeños or another spicy topping. I like my food with a little more heat, and I think that extra kick would have taken the bowl to the next level. There are a handful of tables if you want to eat there, but I grabbed mine to go. Hidden gem is an overused phrase, but in this case it actually fits. Generous portions, solid flavors, and reasonable prices for this day and age.
