    Grilled Shrimp vermicelli

I eat here a few times a year. The food is great. I don't think I've ever had a bad food experience. I usually order a vermicelli bowl or pho. The service is quick - they just aren't friendly or welcoming. Its in a strip mall and never seems to do much eat in business but man the take-out is busy.

It was a good pho place to visit! My friends and I had dinner here and we sat in a comfortable place near the window. The pho broth was just a tiny bit less flavorful than I had anticipated from previous pho soups I have had, but that's no problem. We also got the grilled pork spring rolls and they were absolutely incredible!! By far the best spring rolls I have ever had and will definitely come back for more :)

My aunt and uncle who live in the area took us here for dinner when we were visiting. I ordered a bowl of pho to share with my mom and the portion was big enough to be split by three people. The pho was good and standard, tastes like your average Vietnamese restaurant. Service was iffy. We had to ask a couple of times for an extra bowl and when the guy delivered it to our table he just dumps it. We also were initially brought out a wrong order and our server looks frazzled and doesn't say anything and just goes to the back to bring out our real order.

I do have to write this nice front cover of the menu.

For starters the young man who was handling the restaurant, was NOT friendly at all. I walked and said Good day. No reply just sit where you like. No it's either lack or understanding English or just no respect. The place was clean, except for items on the table was refilled and clean (salt, pepper, horizin sauce and chill sauce). We was given ice water and serving plates was put on the table along with menu. I have to be extremely honest and tell you all, that the prices for the dishes was very very expensive. In Rhode Island I can get large bowl of pho with everything included for $10. This place is $17.50 and it wasn't even extra large bowl. The pho was watered down. There was no real flavor to it at all. The mango drink was $6.50 and was bland. There's a sign on the door stating days they will be close. How can a business stay afloat if your close 3 days out of the week? Anyway this place will not be getting my service.

We decided to visit here on a whim on a Saturday evening and overall it was a pleasant experience. We ordered: -vegetarian spring rolls -chicken wings with fish sauce -shrimp pho -grilled beef pho The spring rolls came out scorching hot and we're absolutely delicious. All of thr other spring rolls had pork mixed in so we couldn't try those but once we got these we didn't miss the chicken or other alternative fillings. They were crisp, fresh, and flavorful. The chicken wings again came out so hot we had to wait patiently to taste them. I was confused that their was no sauce on them. They were just naked, unseasoned chicken wings with a small cup of fish sauce on the side. I asked if this was what I ordered and the gentleman told me yes that some people don't like their wings with the sauce on them. so apparently some people order Vietnamese chicken wings and then get upset when they receive actual Vietnamese chicken wings? Who knew. We were perplexed by that but we just ordered more sauce and coated our wings at the table ourselves. After that they were delicious. My grilled beef pho was amazing. The beef comes on a side plate and is well seasoned and tender. My partner got the shrimp pho and he hate every bit of it before we left. My bowl was overwhelmingly full and I ended up taking half home to eat the next day. I'm certain we'll be back to try more things as it was really really good food. We'll ask to have our wings with sauce actually on them and all will be perfect. I'm

Another delicious meal at Pho Now. We started with the wings which my husband especially loves, the Vietnamese dipping sauce is very light and flavorful. Hubby asked waiter for recommendation on beef pho and he pointed him to #16 which he devoured. I wanted to branch out and try something besides pho, so I got the lemongrass vermicelli platter with chicken. It was great. I did steal a few jalapeños from my husband to spice it up .

Came in for lunch and ordered the spring rolls as our appetizer, pho tai and bun bo hue. Spring rolls were crispy but the filling was just ok. I've had better, these were filled with too much meat with no flavor. Pho broth was ok, they weren't skimpy on their meat which is a plus. Their bun bo hue didn't have that deep distinctive Bo hue flavor, tasted like it was made with the flavor cubes instead from scratch. Overall it's ok.

Delicious! Everything was fresh. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. The waiter was very attentive. Only thing I wish they brought you a glass of ice for your soda. Chris they then that everything was great!

Came out with a bag of broth. Everything leaked out of containers. Way too much cilantro. That's all you could taste.

I put some spicy jelly in it and it had a kick to it but not that harsh. My sister had the vermicelli with shrimp and my BIL had the 4 protein Pho. They both enjoyed their meals. It was empty but filled by the time we left. The inside is bigger than expected with plenty of tables. Service is excellent. There was only 1 waitress and she got very busy as more ppl came in so I hope more staff joins her for prime dinner time. We ordered pho, bahn mi, and wings. The pho and banh mi were excellent. Very authentic. Pho broth is spot on. Flavorful but not heavily seasoned or sweet. Noodles were perfectly cooked. The only thing missing is tripe! The bahn mi had perfect amount of cold cut to pate ratio and the bread was the right amount of soft/chewy. The wings were tasty too, cooked perfectly and not dry which is rare for wings in an Asian restaurant if you know what I mean. Overall such a great spot. If you're in the area I highly recommend you check pho bowl out!

It's also BYOB, so if you're of legal drinking age, you can bring your own beer. This restaurant is located in the Fairfax Shopping Center right between Walgreens and Crab du Jour on Concord Pike, and there is plenty of free parking in the lot. When you walk in, you immediately know the place is authentic by the aroma of incense and the mini altars with daily offerings to Ông Địan and Thần Tài. The space itself is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating. The friendly staff attended to our needs right away, brought us water and menus, and took our orders. I ordered the Bún Đặc Biệt (house special vermicelli topped with a mix of grilled pork, shrimp, fresh herbs, and sliced chả giò), a bánh mì thịt heo nướng (grilled pork), a bánh mì thịt bò nướng (grilled beef), and a bánh mì chả lụa (pork meat loaf). My nephew ordered the Phở Tái Nạm Gầu (thinly sliced raw eye-round steak, well-done flank, and fatty brisket), while my wife ordered the Bún Chả Giò. The pho was amazing--authentic, savory, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The bun dishes were delicious and cool, hitting our appetites perfectly on a 90°+ day. What really makes the difference with vermicelli is having a great nước mắm sauce, and this place does it perfectly. And the bánh mì sandwiches--wow! Having great bread is the foundation, and this place absolutely hits the mark. The combination of the thinly sliced marinated meats topped with a crisp, tangy julienned mix of daikon and carrots, long cucumber sticks for a fresh crunch, bright cilantro, and fresh jalapeños for a spicy kick makes all the difference. It's what elevates it from an OK sandwich to a truly great one. We're definitely hitting this spot again whenever we're in town. Tip: When ordering sandwiches to go, let them know if you plan to eat them the same day or the next day and they'll separate the veggies for you so the baguette doesn't get soggy!

The pho is my usual choice and it's solid but the broth is not my favorite compared to some other establishments.
