You don't have to know anything about Vietnamese food to like this place. Great fresh food, everything's prepared on premises. Delicate flavors and items on the menu. Plus, it's a BYOB. The interior is nice and cozy. The menu has so many listings, it's hard to zero in on one. My wife and I just picked so different things and it was all great. My wife is very picky but shoe loved this place. We had an appetizer of summer rolls, so delicate and freshly made. Then some Vietnamese fried rice with chicken, big portion and loaded with chicken and fresh vegetables. Then I ordered vermicelli with pork which I never had before. So tasty. read more

The place was packed when we arrived last Friday during their first week of opening. The decor is modern, clean and the staff is friendly. The spring rolls, summer rolls and the "taste of Pho" appetizer were amazing. The Pho Tai, Bun bo Hue, and special Com xuon nuong are excellent. We'll be back to try other dishes! As of today, I've dined that this establishment a total of 2 times: one time with the hubs and one time with my parents. My hubs and I tried the pho (noodle soup) once and my parents (Vietnamese immigrants) tried the pho when they visited us while the hubs and I tried the vermicelli noodle dishes. The consensus so far is that our favorite dish is the fried chicken with fish sauce! As a native of the Greater Philadelphia area (I've lived in the area my whole life!), it's difficult to compete with other pho-centric establishments like Pho 75. While Pho Now will not be our go-to place for pho specifically, the hubs and I love that it's closer to us than the other establishments like Pho 75. Overall, Pho Now has done a fantastic job with appealing to different tastes while also satisfying customers of Vietnamese descent. Thank you, Pho Now, for your service to this community! Came out with a bag of broth. Everything leaked out of containers. Way too much cilantro. That's all you could taste.

It's a shame that zero stars isn't an option. This place looks promising but the Pho is mediocre at best and wildly overpriced. The service was terrible. Do yourself a favor: If you want real Pho; drive to Philly. read more

I was very excited to try this place as I love Vietnamese food. My mom and I both had the vermicelli with lemongrass chicken with a side of spring rolls. The vermicelli, carrots, and seasonings were good, but unfortunately, the chicken was grainy, dry and tough. The green onions were sliced into 1 inch pieces, rather than the typical 1/8 inch serving size. The spring rolls were overcooked and I am not sure what was even in them. One night, we ordered takeout from this establishment, excited as I had eaten there before and enjoyed it. We ordered simple dishes and went to pick it up. Apparently, someone had taken our order and we had to wait for our original order to be made again. The host was absolutely NO HELP WHATSOEVER! He kept claiming that we had already picked up the food. We were so confused what he meant by that yet we tried to be kind. He simply did not reciprocate. Our food wasn't even right when we finally got it again. We wish them luck but my family and I will not be enjoying any meals from this restaurant again. read more

Well I hate leaving negative reviews but this place is ridiculous. It's not a huge place and on a Friday night the place is NOT packed. We (party of 3) waited for over an hour for 2 appetizers and then another 45mins after that for dinner. Honestly no matter how great your food is (which they are not, mediocre at best) it's not worth the aggravation. By the way we weren't the only table complaining tonight, there were 5 or 6 other tables that were super upset because they all waited a long time for their food. Definitely won't be coming back here, and it's unfortunate because we are in this area every Friday and was quite excited to have found a new Vietnamese restaurant with great review. Guess the yelp rating is gonna drop after tonight. read more

This place is Good. I haven't eaten here enough to give it five stars but it is well on its way. Very orderly, pleasant and professional look and feel and excellent servers. Menu is quite varied and accommodates just about any dining preference. Portions are ample but not oversized. You probably won't be taking leftovers home. The beef dishes I had were distinctively flavored but not spicy. The drinks feature a lemonade soda and fruit juice combo and a luscious creamy jackfruit smoothie. There were lots of other intriguing drink/smoothie offerings. Definitely a go and try place. read more

We've ordered take out from here twice. Neither time was busy (once was a Saturday afternoon and the other was a Sunday afternoon) and they screwed up our orders both times. The first time we got there and they had never given our order to the kitchen, so we had to wait for it. The second time, they only gave us half of our order. When we called, they told us to come right up, they'd have it ready. When I got there, they told us they never charged us for the full order and since I had to pay for it, they didn't start making it until I got there, again having to wait. The part that upset me the most was that they thought it was funny and were laughing about how "at least the rest of your family is enjoying their meals." read more

I totally love this place. I have been there at least 10 times so far. The food is fresh and delicious. The bahn Mi is fantastic! I also really like the roast pork pho and the chicken pho. I have not had any problems with service as other people have had. I always find the staff to be friendly, courteous and my food has always come quickly. The 1st day we went in, i had a large steak pho bowl and my husband ordered the Fried quail. Both were super duper uber good. We stopped by on a Tuesday night, and had a good experience. It's a little more expensive than going to the pho places in philly but well worth not having to drive an hour to get it. I am a vegetarian and thought their vegetarian pho was delicious and stocked full of veggies. I've eaten here 3 times. All have been good. The first time my husband ordered a grilled beef PHO soup and I had beef round PHO soup and the grilled beef was absolutely amazing. The next time we came I was ready to order the grilled beef it was removed from menu so I tried chicken PHO soup. The chicken is OK but the grilled beef was incredible. I will continue to go but hope they bring back the good stuff eventually. read more

I am so happy that this great little Vietnamese place has opened here in Thorndale. Although I got my order by take out and I didn't get the full restaurant experience, upon walking in, I was politely greeted at the counter. The atmosphere and decor were charming and there were a good amount of happy patrons seated throughout, especially for a Tuesday night. I placed my order and waited for just a short amount of time before my food was brought out to me by a couple of very kind and friendly staff. As for the food, it was great. Succulent shrimp and pork summer rolls in a yummy peanut dipping sauce. Their pho broth is truly wonderful; add in their top quality rare eye round and all the other traditional fresh pho ingredients- it's delicious. I even took the plunge and ordered a dessert I never tried before, a rice and black eyed pea pudding with sweetened coconut milk drizzled over the top. The staff suggested that I could eat it cold or warm it up a little before trying it. I opted to warm the pudding up and then pour the chilled coconut milk over top....oh my god, soooo sublime and such warm velvety smooth deliciousness complemented perfectly by the cool coconut milk. Thank you Pho Now. I look forward to future visits and trying out lots of other dishes from their extensive menu, which includes Thai items as well.
