This place didn't pass that test and it may be the only time in history where it proved me so wrong. When we were served the karage chicken with what appeared to be plain mayo I was seriously doubting my choice. It all changed when the ramen came out. This place is legit. They took the time to master their craft and they pay respect to what a proper bowl of ramen is. We both went for the spicy black garlic tonkatsu with differing spice levels; mild and reaper (+$1). Let's start with that -- typically all you pay for is a glob of chill oil that may or may not be spicy. This was not the case here, it added serious heat without altering the flavor. The black garlic was not burnt. The ramen had depth and umami, but could have been a but more seasoned. Eggs were cooked well and still jammy. If im ever in the area i'd be back.

Too soft and too "spaghetti" like. Hands down, the only place that does the straight noodles right is Jinya Ramen. But even so, I wasn't too fond of the broth or texture of the chashu here. Overall, the atmosphere is great. You have the option to self-order and the portions are large. Staff was friendly and nonetheless my friend and I had a great time. But unless I'm coming back here with someone who wants to eat here, I don't see myself actively choosing to be back at this spot over other ramen places anytime soon.

I would not recommend Pho Palace or Pho Palace 2 at all. I only go here when Pho Pasteur is really crowded. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and it was really greasy and the meat was literally just chunks of fat. Since I live closer to the other Pho Palace I went there hoping that the food was better, so I ordered of course pho this time. I got the Pho with no meat, and they ended giving me the wrong order, so i just decided to bring it home and give it to my brother. Since I didnt eat it, i asked my friend and she said that the Pho was bland and her soup wasn't even hot when they served it. If i could i would give it a 1.5 because there was fast service. But I definitely know after this experience I would not be coming back. read more

I love this 'palace' it is THE only place I will go to for Pho in Arlington. Do not go to their Mansfield location as that one is more Americanized. The one in Arlington is much better!! They have updated the past year on their decor and it is so much bigger and cleaned/updated their bathrooms (thank you). Great portions and not skimpy on the amount of meat they give you in their pho. Rice plates are good as well and rice noodle plates. Basically, everything is good and their spring rolls. Haven't tried their sandwiches though. I normally go to Ba Le for sandwiches. read more

The pho was alright. I really wanted to eat the egg rolls because I love them, when I got them they were over cooked. My friend got a bun bo hue and they gave her a lot of noodles and very little soup. She asked if she could get more soup and they said no, and she asked again and she said she would pay for it. This is located near the Arabic market, their pho I'd say is comparable to pho pasture good place if this closer to you. I wish they had larger bowls though.
