The Pho is amazing! I've had the chicken and the vegetarian. I always look for the PQH when we go looking for Pho. They have several locations and I've been to most of them. They are all good. Fast AND friendly. Great food, great service. We moved away and now anytime we are back in a town that has it (when it's not 120 degrees) I have to get some either to eat there or at least take it to go. I wish they would mail me some. FOOD: This location is one of several in a chain; however, the food at this one is the best. I usually have the Pho, but had the shrimp Pad Thai today. The noodles were more like dumpling sheets! Lots of shrimp & fresh veggies. ATMOSPHERE: This place is a run of the mill strip mall restaurant, not some place you go to for the ambience! I recently enjoyed lunch here with a friend. The service was prompt &the waiter knowledgeable. We shared an order of shrimp spring rolls (2). We wanted to try but save lots of room for the main attraction- pho'. I'm not a fan of their spring rolls. Seemed like maybe shredded lettuce and bean sprouts with a couple shrimp wrapped in rice paper. Blah. Sauce was ok. Not amazing We ordered pho (beef noodle soup ) P9 with brisket and flank. It was excellent. We order the small. Of course it's large- plenty of broth meat and noodles served with a large plate of fresh Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime, garnished with onions and cilantro. Yum!! So fresh and tasty. There's also Sriracha & hoisin sauce to add additional flavor if you desire. My friend had never tried pho before. She left, being a huge fan and planning a return trip! Score!! read more

The pho was really good. I used to stop by here and pick up food on my way home from work. However, I stopped coming because there was this one lady who whenever she took my order, she would make fun of the way I speak Vietnamese. She would repeat everything I said in a mocking way and others in the background would start laughing. I like seafood but this wasn't what I ordered. I ordered pad Thai for my daughter and it was so bland. We had to throw both away. What a waste. I'm glad that I listened to my friend's advice to order a small bowl. I *struggled* to finish my small bowl of pho but it was very tasty. The broth was clear and full of flavour. Given it's low price point, I was really shocked at how much meat I was given. So good! It's served with Thai basil, cilantro, jalapeños, lime, bean sprouts and hoisin sauce served on the side. We decided to eat Banh Mi pretty late tonight, I found this place closed at 10pm. We ordered 4 pork Banh Mi and one order of egg roll. I had two bites of it and couldn't eat it anymore. This thing is disgusting. The bread is soft, the pork with some sauce as well, it didn't look like they toast it and it didn't even taste like they used baguette?! Look like a bread from HEB. My son's Banh Mi was totally falling apart because it was wet. I have been eating Banh Mi in Houston and Austin, I have never had one bad one. I didn't know you can make bad Banh Mi. The whole thing is soggy and nasty. I do not recommend getting Banh Mi there, the egg roll tasted pretty ok. read more

They were STUFFED with grilled pork protein and veggies, the bread was thin long and proportionate. Service was great too and they made sure everyone was socially distanced! The restaurant itself is a decent size. It looks a bit older but decently clean. For two fried egg rolls and a large beef pho with extra beef my total came to $13. The egg rolls were ok. I had never had Pho before and one of my employees recommended this place. Since then, my husband and I have been HOOKED! The spicy filet noodle is what we normally get and it's so good - you're not thirsty after and it's got the perfect amount of spice. This is really good pho! A couple tips when going here: - get the beef noodle broth in order to get that classic pho taste. The chicken broth is good if you want just plain chicken broth, but does not taste like pho. - the veggie pho comes with a generous variety of veggies... broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, onions and tofu. - the chicken is chewy and has no flavor so I would recommend avoiding it. - food comes out fast - speedy service - reasonable prices - solid portions - pro tip: put the basil, cilantro and lime into your pho to enhance it! Solid authentic pho for a great price. The broth is flavorful, the noodles cooked perfectly, the fried egg rolls are crispy and fragrant, and the Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk is legit. Other menu items that I've liked include their beef stew with baguette, lemongrass chicken on rice, and black pepper beef with rice. I've only been to one pho place in Dallas and wasn't impressed by it. This one was more traditional and less Americanized than my first visit. I got P6 with brisket flank and tendon. The tendon was the best cut out of the trio but I wish there was more. I got the small size and was full after my meal. They offered free mugs of hot soy milk before we ordered our entrees and they were good - reminded me of when my mother used to make me hot milk. The restaurant was half full with diners and it was considerably clean. We were seated right away and provided a menu. Thai Iced Tea with Tapioca - $2.95 P15 - Eye of Round Steak - $7:50 C7 - Grilled Sliced Beef with Fried Rice - $7.95 The food and drinks came quickly, however my reason for the low stars is as follows: Wife's Grilled Sliced Beef with Fried Rice came out cold, it's like it was sitting somewhere or had been a previously cancelled order. The beef was tough and hard to chew. She had also asked for Fried rice but they brought steamed rice. They took the order back and brought back the food with fried rice, but the beef and veggies were still cold. I let the lady know about this and she apologized. My Eye of Round Steak was o.k., but I've had better somewhere else. I just thought the soup was a little diluted with water and didn't have the good flavor that the steak and spices bring in when it is stewed in well. The Thai iced tea was o.k., nothing exceptional about it. Oh, and I had a tummy ache later on, not sure what could have triggered it. Let me start off by saying that I've been to pretty much every pho que huong location in the dfw area and this is by far my FAVORITE!! Food: I got my usuals, basil chicken flat noodles and shrimp fried rice. The flat noodles were so good I devoured the entire dish in one sitting - and I can never do that. All the vegetables were so fresh and there was more than enough chicken - some places are kinda stingy. My mom got the shrimp fried rice and it was pretty good! A tad bit bland for my liking but then again I tend to over salt my food. Also they use fresh shrimp and not that rubbery frozen kind. I finished off with Thai tea which was very refreshing. I loved how they had so many boba and drink options. I'll definitely need to come back and try more. Service: The reason for five stars is for the AMAZING service. We were seated right away and the staff was exceptionally friendly and engaged in conversation with us - as if we have known each there for years! We loved it! My mom forgot to order the fried rice with no bean sprout and our waitress overheard and gave us another one to go on the house. She was the sweetest - a small lady wearing a large hat and calling everyone honey. We immediately felt drawn to her bubbly personality. I'm so excited for my next visit! This is my favorite place to go when I am feeling sick, particularly when it's cold. They give you free hot soy milk when the weather is really cold. They speak english, but the accent can be a little thick. So you might have an issue understanding them. But as long as you don't have a laundry list of special requests, you should be fine. I always get the pho. It's the exact thing I need to help me feel better. My sister says the rice dishes are not that good, but I never get those. So I wouldn't be able to speak to them. I do however also get the shrimp summer rolls. They are awesome. If you are new to pho, it's a noodle soup. Definitely add Hoisin and sriracha sauce. Also, squeeze that lime in there. Tear the basil leaves off the stem and put them in the soup too. The jalapeño is good too, but some people find it to be too spicy. The sprouts are optional, but I always put them in there. There should also be a little sauce dish. Put whatever sauce or combination of sauces you like in it. That way you can pull out the meat from your soup and dip it in there. That is also optional, but nearly everyone I know does it that way. I almost forgot, bury the meat under the noodles or the sprouts. That way they cook fully. Enjoy. read more

We went to this location with the intent of visiting somewhere else initially, but changed our menu and went into get some pho. We were not disappointed since it had some good food and huge portions. I wanted bun bo hue. It was a simpler version, but still really good. The only downside was the service. Usually, it's non existent, so we never expect good service, but here, it was a little awkward. Someone walked up to our table to take our order. We were asking about different noodles and he just walked away. I think he may have thought we needed more time to decide, but he never came back and we didn't see him again. I have been going to this place for a very, very long time. But today our experience was the worst ever. The only works there was all the men and they were rude. Fist the waiter/busboy got my sons order wrong and had to send it back. Then my order was wrong and the waiter got upset when I told him the noddles were the wrong ones and didn't want to change my order. The menu states if you wait rice noodles or egg noodles. I wanted the rice noodles. Tho he did tell his buddies he asked if I wanted changed my order, but that was a big fat lie!!! We will no longer coming to eat here. This is a chain restaurant but this is probably my favorite location in the area. The staff are friendly and attentive and incredibly efficient. The menu has a large variety so you can pick and choose from noodles to rice. I always order the P1, special combination pho, and am never disappointed. The broth isn't too salty and the regular portion is good for its price. They also give you a pretty decent amount of noodles and meats. I also ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls appetizer and they were really yummy. They're crispy and delicious. Overall, this place is a great place to hang out and satisfy your pho craving. read more
