The pho and spring rolls were delicious. Beef meatball pho is my favorite, and they did it amazingly. Everything was well-packaged for delivery. I am not sure why this place doesn't have higher ratings. It is my GO TO Uber eats/to-go spot for pho. So although I have yet to dine in- their pho is pretty decent. I enjoy their shrimp spring rolls and banh mi as well. We have also ordered chicken fried rice and a bun dish from them, and all have been satisfying, (nuoc mam a little bland, but tolerable.) I, like many others, came down with the flu this winter. Being sick, put me in the mood for some pho, so I did a search and found.Pho Quyen. What I liked most is that I could understand the menu and order exactly what I wanted. Admittedly I used Uber Eats to have it delivered. It arrived perfectly packaged. All my greens were in one bag, the broth with beef in its own container, and all the seasonings in another bag. Serving size inconsistency (Grilled pork chop with fried rice). I eat here at least the 3-4 times a week. There are days the pork chop serving portion are good size other times about a size of a kids 2 palm. The last straw was when I told the waiter about the portion of the serving size of pork chop was disappointing. He said oh that's the way we buy it in the market. I said no this isn't the normal serving size I am being served on other occasions. He said don't worry next time I will give you a big serving size pork chop. I almost walked out(since I haven't even touched the pork chop yet), but I said to myself. You know what there won't be a next big serving size. Because this would be the last time I'd come back here. This place is so inconsistent. My friend loves the curry pho, that's the only reason I've been multiple times.. The pho is flavorless. The beef stir fry with egg noodles is a winner, if its not full of grease. We ordered spring rolls and it looked like they were fried in old grease, they were dark brown and seeping oil. Today we went in and I ordered fresh spring rolls. I guess the long straight black hair on top was an extra condiment. When I told them about it, they looked at me like I had two heads. I typed in special requests to remove certain ingredients from the dishes I ordered, and they made everything exactly as I requested! They even wrote on top of containers the ingredients that were taken out. I went there for dinner recently with my granddaughter. I got beef pho for her, and a fish pho designed for me (shrimp, whitefish, and squid). They were both fabulous, as were the clear, shrimp spring rolls, which we dipped in a "to die for" peanut sauce. The prices were reasonable, and the meal was well worth it. This place was the best pho so far in the outer Saint Pete area, away from the city so far. There was plenty of food, and we had to take the rest home. I ordered two vermicelli dishes, one plain pho and an order of spring rolls. The pork meat in the vermicelli was sooo tough to chew, and it had just a weird flavor. Everything almost the same as I remembered, except their menu appears to have more selections now. My orders: pork and shrimp spring rolls ($2.95) It was not good in my opinion. 2 small rolls with pork, shrimp, mints, shredded lettuce, and too much vermicelli. I recommend they use whole lettuce leaf and not shredded lettuce. Also, less vermicelli. If you have to make it look bigger, come up with a different way. caramelized pork chops in claypot - thit kho man ($10.95) I had it customized with no onions. Wish it was spare ribs instead of cut up pork chops. In any cases, I did enjoy it. Meat was tender enough and sauce very good. seafood tamarind soup - canh chua do bien ($11.95) Also customized, omitting unwanted veggies. Soup is darker color than what I'm use to but it was very good. Just the right blend of sweet and sour. Seafood includes fish fillet, scallops, shrimp and squid. I had leftover packed up and they even gave me extra steam rice so I can have it for lunch or dinner tomorrow. The 2 waitresses were very nice and checked up on me often. At this restaurant my family decided to eat here and it was our first time here, there was only us and the workers. We ordered a decent amount of food and we were skeptical when all of our dishes arrived, our beef stir fry had noodles in it when it wasn't supposed to have any. We asked the waitress about the noodles and she guessed it was leftover food on the pan from the previous dish. The food was horrendous and none of us felt safe eating it. We had to take the beef stir fry out of the check just of how bad it was that no one ate it, everyone agreed that the food could easily make us sick just by looking at it. We had five people dining there, one a minor, and they charged us with tips. The laws say there's auto tips with larger groups of people (6-8) and there were only 5 but making it 4 minus the child. The restaurant never told us about the tip charge too, they had to have told us before we even ordered but they never did. I wouldn't recommend this place ever.
