This is a neat little Thai place. I came for the Crispy Duck. I LOVE crispy duck. I saw online that they have the crispy duck soup & thought I would see if they make the whole duck/on the bone, not just a duck breast. I love the crispy duck but I like it on the bone, they usually give you half a duck so you get a mixture of duck, leg/thigh meat dark & breast meat, the flavors are better with the duck on the bone with the light & dark duck meats. Anyhoo, they didn't have Red Curry Crispy duck on the menu but they were so kind as to make it for me. They told me they make it on the bone, they just cut it off the bone before serving. This sounded reasonable & I have to have my Crispy Duck fix, so Presto! Like magic, soon, a lovely lunch plate of Red Curry Crispy Duck, cut off the bone, was indeed presented to me OuiOui. I was also brought a side salad & crispy veggie egg roll. The salad was super fresh, but I didn't like the dressing. It was way too sweet, pooled into the bottom of the cup. Next time I will ask for no dressing. The egg roll was perfectly cooked, however it was served cold/room temperature. Would have been better served hot or at least warm. I'm very pleased that I have found a crispy duck dish that has light & dark duck meats. Not just a duck breast. The crispy duck here was also cooked beautifully. I asked for it Thai HOT & my nose was running. It was a perfect Thai Hot for Moi OuiOui. I noticed a lot of Door Dash & take out coming & going. Some ladies were chatting while waiting & they were all talking about how good the crispy duck is here OuiOui. Agreed. The Crispy Duck here is very good. I'm so glad they cook the whole duck on the bone, I know for a fact they do bc I got a tiny piece of it on my plate :( I'm not happy I got the tiny piece of bone on my lunch plate, but I'm very happy that you cook the whole duck. It's unfortunate I got a piece of bone, but the dish is delicious. I also loved the artistic way the veggies were cut in the dish, they were cooked perfectly al dente, the rice was also fabulous & the Red Curry was a very lovely Thai HOT. The prices are also very reasonable. To the Chef: Thank you for making me the Red Curry Crispy Duck. It was delicious. I prefer it served whole, on the bone, however, if you're going to serve it cut OFF the bone "boneless" it must be indeed boneless. I had a piece of bone on my plate. (See photos) I hope that you can be more careful with the tiny bones in the future, as I would love to explore the rest of your menu & try the Red Curry Duck again in the future. This is the highest rated Thai restaurant in the area so we gave it a try. The ratings are right! All the food was fantastic. My dad ordered a tom yum chicken soup and it was a nice sized bowl with lots of chicken and veggies. The spring roll appetizer was tasty and crisp. Star of the evening was the outstanding jungle curry, at Thai spicy level. A ton of fresh veggies and chicken, delicious sauce, powerful but not brutal heat, and some much needed rice on the side to temper the flames. Well I hate giving less than stellar reviews, but we had a very disappointing meal at Thai Dish Restaurant. The reviews I had read had been pretty consistently good. We ventured out on a rainy Thursday (I think) and the restaurant was not busy at all. A cute little restaurant. There was another couple when we arrived, and a larger party arrived while we were eating. We ordered the Thai Dish sampler as an appetizer. This consisted of 2 egg rolls, 2 krab Rangoon, 2 pot stickers, and 2 spring rolls. Frankly they all tasted the same and were nothing like we were used to. On to the main meals, which were highly disappointing. Hubby ordered the sweet and sour chicken. Menu description "Sauteed with pineapple, bell pepper, carrot, onion, cucumber, and baby corn in sweet and sour sauce." This dish was literally swimming in a thin liquid sauce. Plain rice was served on side. Not at all appealing and hubby did not enjoy it. I ordered the Pad Thai. Menu states "The Thai national noodle dish, thin rice noodles stir-fried with egg, bean sprout, paprika, ground peanut, and scallion." This dish came loaded with a thick, tasteless gravy, with no discernible egg, ground peanuts or scallion! Just noodles swamped with a gravy. Now, I'm wondering if perhaps the chef (who I believe is the husband-owner) was not in the kitchen that night. Reason being that several times a woman (believe was the wife-owner) came out of kitchen to check on patrons, and quickly returned to kitchen. There was a young waiter who was taking and delivering orders to tables. They were the only two workers we saw. It is my understanding from reviews that the husband-owner is the usual chef. All I know is the food we received did not, by any means, meet the description of reviews we had read. We did not complain about our meals, just brought home leftovers, and threw them away. Perhaps was just an "off" night at Thai Dish, but a "one and done" for us. read more

There are a lot of Thai restaurants in the area, & this is another good one. If you go, it is a little difficult to find. It's in a semi-hidden strip mall, & there is no outside restaurant sign. We went up to an unmarked business, peeked inside the door, & that was it. The inside is nice & feels new. The workers were pleasant & working hard. The menu has a lot of great sounding options. But we defaulted to their lunch menu. I ordered Panang Curry Tofu. The lunch special is $14, & includes a small salad, a tiny egg roll, white rice, a small cup of chicken & rice soup, & 3 pork potstickers. The food arrived & for sure all was fresh. I've been in FL in the Tampa area for 7 yrs and for 7 yrs, I've been searching for the Thai restaurant that meets my expectations. FINALLY!!! I've found it. We tried many dishes including the spring rolls, steamed dumplings, papaya salad, Tom Yum, pad thai and curry snapper. Every single dish was delicious. The Duck noodle soup with egg noodles was out of this world good. The slices of duck were amazing. I ordered the drunken noodles with pork and extra sauce as I find most places make it too dry. It was nicely sauced with a nice quantity of peppers, onions, carrots & basil. I found the pork slices themselves lacked flavor.
