I thoroughly enjoyed my pho I ordered! The soup was pretty flavorful and beefy, I just wished there were more noodles. The banh mi bo ne was very unique too, I don't think I've ever seen this dish at a Vietnamese restaurant in mn so we had to try. We were blown away at how good the baguette was you used to dip the egg and meat mixture. Service was friendly and fast as well. I would recommend folks trying!

The sea food menu is amazing,every thing is so fresh and very flavorful. It is available once a month, or by special order, wish they are added to the regular menu! My favorite is the salty egg yolk snail, 10/10 flavors. Will certainly come back again and try other things in the menu!

This is such a find I can't believe it. I seriously didn't expect this level of Vietnamese food south of the river. We came for take out, and ordered Vermicelli Salad with Grilled Pork and the Grilled Pork Chop Rice Plate with Meat Loaf. The ambiance is a bright and simple hole in the wall, but with amazing original murals on the wall! The food here is on the level with some of the best Vietnamese establishments on Eat Street and Frogtown. The pork was well marinated and charred. All the ingredients were very fresh. These people know how to cook! We'll definitely be back next time we're in this area. Service was old-school excellent, there's plenty of parking in the lot, and right next to Cub if you need to run an errand while they whip up your dinner!

This place is absolutely amazing!! I've been coming here ever since I moved to Minnesota from California and it's been nothing but amazing. I am an Italian American and I absolutely love Vietnamese food. This place recently did a remodel and it's even better than before. New menu and new atmosphere here. The hot pots are so so good and they have so many to choose from. If your looking for authentic Vietnamese food then this is the place to come to. Save yourself the trouble and just try it. You will not be disappointed!

I love everything about this place. The new owner took over this restaurant within a year. I ordered crispy rice cake( I think this is the best rice cake I ever had in MN) hi tieu nam vang ( must try) beef pasta ( it's very flavorful) but my favorite is crab noodle soup ( I promise you won't get anywhere else better crab noodle than this place). This was my first experience with pho and I must say, man have I been missing out! My husband and friends have always been lovers of pho but for some reason it never seemed to do the trick for me. However!! We've had this place on our to try list forever and finally made a date night out of it. What a fun experience! The place is small, tucked away in the strip mall with Cub and a handful of other places but don't be fooled, it's a gem! We arrived and it was empty which I'll admit did give me a little pause, but after we had been sat and our orders taken the place filled up within 10-15 minutes! It was a busy, lively dinner rush on a Friday night. Our server was excellent, the food was excellent, the prices were good and the portions were great! I took some pho home and it was excellent re-heated the next day when I was craving it. If you're in Burnsville, you need to give this place a chance to earn your business.

If you are in the mood for some Vietnamese food this is it. 1st of all I just wanna say thank you for being authentic to the cuisine, not many Vietnamese restaurants bring the authentic flavor into the food. The "BANH canh cua" here is absolutely delicious. BANH canh cua is not easy to make many different ingredients and time goes into making this. Keep up the deliciousness and I will definitely be back!

We normally go to Simply Pho in Apple valley, but we wanted to try a pho place closer to home. I ordered over the phone, picked up 20 mins later. Came home and realized they screwed up the order. The broth was just okay. Not bad, but not great either. Portions were good though for the price. Overall, just a mediocre, average Vietnamese pho experience! read more

Usually I love this place but tonight I ordered delivery and it was awful. The pork steamed pot stickers were shoved into a tiny container, all stuck together in a big glob and the pork was not cooked inside. Also apparently does not include any dipping sauce. The pad Thai noodles were a big mushy glue gob. So disappointed especially for how much money I spent. read more

Stopped by yesterday as we were craving Pho. Ordered the Pho special (the one with everything, meatballs, tendons, etc.) and it was pho-nomenal! The broth was probably the best I've ever had in the twin cities. I was quite surprised. Spring rolls were superb too, and they had a special where we got 10% off our bill and got free cream cheese wontons. And we ate it all even though I'm technically on a diet at the moment. read more

LICKING FINGERS. READ THIS. Hi, local and have been here about 10x. READ FOR NECESSARY INFO - staff licking fingers, sticking them back in food TO TEST, not wearing masks or gloves, or sanitizing between customers. Licking of the fingers is why I won't be returning. I love their food, but this time was for our family's meal for my mother's birthday. For 5 orders, it took from 6:10 to 7:30. Our wait time had been given as 30 minutes. I have worked in restaurants in the past and discount or offer something if the food takes longer than 30 minutes. But after an hour +, they offered a $10 discount only. We missed our opportunity to have dinner with our eldest, our mother, whos birthday it was. Absolutely disappointing and disgusting. Not to mention, they began making all of our food and apps when we arrived to pick it up. read more

A very bad experience with this place. I called and asked about their general tso's chicken. On the menu it listed chIcken, broccoli and sauce.it was very difficult to place a take out order due to the language barrier, but after a while I thought wE had an understanding. I ordered the tsos chicken with extra sauce. Plus a shrimp egg foo young extra gravy . When I arrived the place was pretty clean and couple of tables were taken. I paid and got the food. I should have double checked the food. I got home and checked the food.... general tsos was dry and has broccoli, carrots AND mushrooms. I drove back and explained the issue to the man at the register. He apologized and said they'll re make it. About 5 min later they brought out chicken with broccoli, carrots and mushrooms no sauce. Then after another 5 min they brought out chicken broccoli and minimal sAuce. Didn't realize the sauce part until I got home. Will never return. Didn't even eat the food I was so turned off. Didn't get the extra gravy for my egg foo young either .... sigh.... read more

Only had the pho. Small place with maybe 8-10 small tables. Decent place for pho. Broth was decent, more on the sweeter side. Good price point. Would I go again, sure, if I'm nearby. I lived in Southeast Asia for twenty years. These guys serve a first class Vietnamese pho, as good or better than any I've had in the twin cities. They also have a menu of traditional Vietnamese dishes as well as the Normal Chinese food menu. I can't speak to the Chinese items as the Vietnamese ones are so good I've never gotten around to trying the Chinese. Prices are portions size are good as well. read more

We had wanted to get the beef and potatoes, and they no longer have it. We ordered egg foo young and chicken cashew, and egg rolls to go. The egg rolls were the only good thing. Egg foo young tasteless and gravy had flour lumps in it. Cashew chicken battered abd fried and pure grease and very spicy. Not what we expected or wanted. Egg rolls were good. Throughout the meal, the server will clear your empty plates and at the end of the meal they will drop off fortune cookies and towelettes. Crab days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. During these days they serve lil crabs. There is also a build your own noodle station where you can choose your mix-ins and sauces, and they'll fry it up for you. The fried rice is solid and the garlic toast is shockingly really good. Food is pretty fresh and warm, and there are people constantly refilling trays and cleaning the buffet.

I would have to say the only thing I would change is that one of the ceviche dishes that we ordered was fried, we thought it was fresh and some of the dishes had a little too much salt but otherwise, it was delicious. I would definitely 100% recommend trying Mi Causa any day of the week.

The food was amazing! The pho doesn't have a lot of artificial beef flavor and was very big. I had to take home half of my pho! Also the cream cheese wontons were also delicious! The service was quick. The room was pretty small though but it's alright. 5/5 stars would come back again. read more
