This was delicious. I do wish it had less oil in the stew that sat on top and the fat trimmings on the meat. But I would still get this again. It's a sit down place with families who go here mostly. Waitress was helpful and attentive.

I came here to try pho for the first time, a friend of mine highly recommended it. The pho was really good! I dressed it up with chile paste, lime, and jalapeños. We actually ordered a ton of food, but I wasn't able to get pictures of everything. The crab Rangoon's there are honestly the best crab Rangoon I have ever eaten in my 33 years of life, they even have lobster Rangoon, which I did not get to try yet, but I will definitely be trying it in the future. They have a huge menu of all sorts of different Vietnamese in Chinese food. They also sell Boba and have a full bar. They have a parking lot and inside dining. You can also do takeout here. Giving 4 stars because the prices are a little high, the bathroom could be a little cleaner and because they forgot to put in one of the people in my parties orders. I do recommend this place for some good pho and the best crab Rangoon in your life.

The first impression - understaffed! 2nd impression - staff there is not efficient. Tables were left dirty - everyone was waiting for service. The crab Rangoons were more cheesy than crabby. The nime chow was tight and tasty with the thick peanut sauce. The house chicken wings were lightly sauced with a hint of sweetness. And the Beef Pho had an incredible taste. However it was served like warm at best. It definitely needed to be hot. Overall - I think this place could be a go to place but it definitely needs a clean up and a more trained front of the house staff. I would try again and suggest others who love Asianesque foods to do so - but it will not be in my continuous rotation.

Second time coming to this restaurant food was delicious. I ordered a bowl of Pho Do Bien. It was a huge portion of soup and very delicious. The Crab Rangoons are delicious and have the perfect crunch to them. It very causal in this establishment and have a DJ booth set up. The waiter was nice but wish he was more attentive. Other than that I loved the food and definitely will be back to try more items off the menu.

Happy to have Vietnamese food in this area at all. We got the Bo luc lac (shaken beef) and it came out less like the original dish and more like a sweet asian stir fry. (It's not meant to be sweet or doused in thick sauce.) Bo kho with pho noodles was tasty, albeit maybe not the authentic flavor either (more liquidy than usual). You did have the option to get it with bread if you wanted. Bun thit nuong (vermicelli) was very good. Egg roll in it was super good and fresh. The noodles were cold which my cousin loved but I prefer warm noodles (that's just preference). Meat was sliced thinly but good grill flavor and lots of veggies in the bowl. Ca kho (fish) was good with white rice. Cute Vietnamese restaurant though the staff members that were there didn't speak Vietnamese - would come back to test pho!

The place was clean, the service was kind of slow but the food was delicious!! The pho was flavorful and it had a lot of noodles and meat! Deff will be coming back!

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, food was good not great. We had bo luc lac (shaking beef)-very sweet and saucy. Not flavored how I expected. Pho bo kho (beef stew with pho noodles)-meat was so tender. Bun thit noung cha gio (vermicelli grilled pork bowl with eggroll)-eggroll was so good, meat was a bit dry, noodles were cold. Typical vermicelli bowl. Ca kho (clay pot fish), good flavor but small portion, fish was a bit overcooked. Decent spot but nothing amazing. Would come back when I have a craving for viet food.

The vermicelli (bun dac biet) was excellent. The meats were all cooked deliciously. They give you fish sauce so you can portion how much of it you want for your noodles, and I pour bit by bit as I eat. The only thing I would have liked was for the red meat to be cut into strips. The chow foon was well-liked by my husband, but I think it's just OK. I honestly wouldn't really recommend it, unless you wanted Chinese food and the person you're eating with really wanted Vietnamese food. It's nice that this was an option here, though. I believe I've had the pho dac biet two years ago and thought it hit the spot, and that's all I want from my pho. The vibe was very chill, but we kind of went at a non-peak time. The parking lot is kind of rundown. The customer service could be better. I asked for a spoon to finish some small bits of vermicelli, and I got a weird vibe, as if they really did not want to give me a spoon. I did get a spoon, but it felt like I was judged for it. This place is honestly between 3-4 stars for me.

We've been here many times and it was good, but were pleasantly surprised to find out that it is better!! Most are in the maintain quality camp, but I will give them a round of applause for getting better. The food: the Bahn Mi bread had a crispy exterior while having a soft center. The veggies were super fresh and flavorful. Everything came together perfectly! The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was bold, sweet and very craveworthy. The store is clean, modern, and inviting with window seating on stools up front and additional table seating in the back. The menu offers a variety of Vietnamese dishes. For example, the banh mi was $11, which is expensive considering many well known banh mi shops in Boston charge $7-8. We ordered the pork banh mi. It had good flavor, but it wasn't the traditional lemongrass pork banh mi I'm accustomed to. The pork was plainer than expected, and it was missing the scallion oil that often gives pork banh mis more flavor and authenticity. Overall, Lotus Pepper is a good spot for quick Vietnamese food, a nice atmosphere to hang out, and plenty of seating options. Come on ... how much does it cost you to actually throw in a tiny cup of hot mustard? I mean, who doesn't eat hot mustard with Chinese food? It used to be that Chinese food was a fast and cheap dinner ... a combo meal here is $18, after substitution. I want to know ... who the fuck has ever actually eaten a shitty chicken wing from a Chinese restaurant without substituting it out? Probably nobody. You eat fresh BBQ chicken wings at a tailgate, not from a dirty restaurant the size of a college dorm room. Of course they know any sane person with working taste buds will substitute nasty skimpy wings for something else ... so they include them in every combo meal knowing people will pony up the extra $1.50 - $2.50. A combo with 3 crab rangoon, 3 chicken fingers (substituted for wings) and an egg roll now costs almost $20. The quality here is on par with a mall food court ... which is to say, not great. Dry AF fried rice with fatty cubes of pork which have the consistency and taste of a pencil eraser. The rice was almost chewy it was so dry amd barely tasted like pencil shavings it was so bland. The crab rangoon was decent ... filled with fake cream cheese and almost no crab. If you are drunk, it's fine and filling. Nothing you couldn't throw in an air fryer from a frozen box. The chicken fingers were okay. Likeky frozen a year ago and thrown into a deep fat frier hours before you ordered and kept under a heat lamp. If you are drunk or high, you'll leave a 4/5 star review. If you are unfortunately sober when you eat this, it will remind you of the dsys you'd scrape your lawn mowing money together and splurge on Chinese food from the mall food court when you were in middle school. Overall, this is buffet food served as fresh made.
