Good Bahn Mi, bad service. We've been coming here for years, but there's been a change of ownership and an entire new waitstaff, and the place has suffered for it. "Pho'k yeah!" Okay so we didn't even have the pho--I just wanted to say "pho'k yeah" BUT the Clay pot dishes are amazing! Also the skillet dish--on the menu it is "L5." The sweet tea is also very unique and delicious using an Asian-style tea instead of the traditional tea that goes with iced tea. Also had the shrimp wonton appetizer (basic), fresh rolls with peanut sauce (peanut sauce was one of the best I've had) were excellent, and the crab rangoons (these are just your basic but we always get them). The place was dark and empty but based on our Yelp search was sat down and prepared for a good meal. They have all the Vietnamese classic like Bun and Bahn Mi, but I always get Bun with lemongrass tofu when trying a new place. We started with tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce and they tasted good and fresh. They also have a Chinese beer I like called Tsingtao. My girl got a special from the back page of the menu of some grilled Mahi and vegetables with white rice. That fish was so good and moist, her onions were caramelized but yet crunchy. I loved her dish more than mine. The music is a little tacky but somewhat unique. It's like some sad Vietnam war theme music with a beat. The owner is cool and came by after he saw me looking around and at him. They seem to be enjoying themselves at a table near the kitchen. More customers came in as we ate. I would be here often if I called Daytona home. P.S. Their point of sale system is pretty old so don't go expecting split items on split checks and itemized copies of such said madness. If it weren't for their small pho portion size in accordance to its high price, then this pho restaurant would have received 5 stars. Walking in, my family and I were greeted by the kindest owner who seemed very passionate about her business--a good thing to see. As for the food, we ordered pho, a chicken clay pot, and a grilled pork Banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich). The pho came in a disappointingly small portion size for the price (10.95 for large). It was sized similarly to Smalls in other restaurants. However, I thought the pho was delicious. The ingredients were fresh as I could taste each individual slice of flank as well as a flavorful stock that left my taste buds craving for more. Next, the clay pot was made exquisitely, with a harmonious blend of sauce, chicken, vegetables, and rice that had me stealing spoonfuls out of my fathers dish when he wasn't looking. Lastly, the Banh Mi. I have never had such a highly delectable Banh mi. The French bread was perfectly crispy and warm on the touch, and then the vegetables also had a slight crisp to them. Additionally, the grilled pork was seasoned in a way that engulfed the meat in a thick, sweet sauce which tied all parts of the banh mj together. Was really excited to try their pho since the restraurant had good reviews, but while the cook and waiter were very nice and accomdating I was sadly unimpressed with the food. They were kind enough to make mine with extra veggies which was good but the broth was very bland and oily. The noodles were also overcooked to the point if being mush. I was so disappointed as I'd have likely eaten there once a week had it been good. This was my first experience with Pho, and it was a good one. My buddy eats Pho all of the time, and he said it was on par with all the places he usually goes. Nothing life altering, but good Pho. Visiting the area had cravings for Vietnamese food. Not much choice for Vietnamese restaurants in the area, so decided to give this place a try. Order the large PHO $10.95 ( over price in my opinion) very small portions for a large. They size of large is the size of a small in other Vietnamese restaurants. They put it in a large bowl but the amount they put in it is the size portion of a small. Over all the taste of the broth was just okay, had better pho elsewhere. My husband ordered beef vermicelli with egg roll. Not much beef in it more veggies. This place is very disappointing, will not be coming back. read more

Cam here not expecting much because it's Daytona and was pleasantly surprised. I am pretty picky when it comes to Pho as it's something I ear often. The waitress here said that the Pho is the owner's family recipe and many of the herbs are grown on-site. Everything we tried was pretty great. My honey and I went to lunch here with his boss on a very slow Tuesday afternoon. By very slow I mean that we were one of only four tables in there at the height of the "lunch rush". Our waitress was very nice but the service was as slow as molasses!! it took 45 minutes for our lunch to arrive at our table after we ordered. Once it finally arrived lunch was delicious. We all had pho and were stuffed by the end of the meal. We'll go back again but just not when we are in a hurry. The service here is always good. They have the best pho in the Daytona Beach area. If you want Vietnamese food, this is the place. I also recommend the clay pot dishes and the ginger fish snapper. The beef was also overly seasoned, and honestly everything was overpriced for how good it actually was. I give it a 2-stars, though, because the decorations were very cute and nice, but the tables also were oddly sticky. The food was decent, just not the best. Pho AP Chao was so freaking good. It was crunchy on the edges and soft on the inside. The sauce that came with the dish was also delicious. I also got the beef clay plot, which came with crispy jasmine rice and tendered beef. Since the clay pot dish was so hot, even after 15 minutes, it made it really hard for me to chow it down quickly!! I also ordered their lychee milk boba. Stopped here with my for some hot and yummy soup and that is what we got! They serve the soup in large deep bowls that are perfect for sipping ever last drop of savory broth.
