Reviews said this was some of the best Vietnamese food in the area so how could I pass up giving their pho a try? Got there around 5pm and saw they had a happy hour which was cool that included both apps and drinks. I was immediately seated and my server poured fresh ice water and gave me a few minutes to look over the menu. I went with my usual - spring rolls and beef pho...both were tasty! The peanut sauce for the spring rolls and the pho broth were the stars of the meal! If I were ever in town again I would totally visit again and try a rice dish.

Friday 12:30pm 6/7/24 Met a friend here for lunch. Nice quiet place, clean and family friendly. I already looked at the menu the day before and decided on the "sampler". It had 3 small Crab Rangoons, 3 fried dumplings, 2 fried shrimp and 1 crispy spring roll, 1 soft spring roll. It also came with 3 dipping sauces. In taste, the sampler was average. The customer service was excellent. They made you feel like you were right at home. Check em out!

I came here on a Wednesday night and got a bowl of pho #11 ($14) and it had steak, brisket and meatball. When the waiter brought out our water there was a fruit fly in it. They immediately got us new waters. After about 6 minutes the pho came out. The broth was savory with just the right saltiness. A fair amount of meat was given. Service was quick and staff was average. Overall one of the better pho in RVA, however because of that fly in water incident it did sour the experience. Food: 8.6 Staff/service: 6.0 Value: 8.5 Overall: 5.9/10 (-2 point for the fly incident)

Shaking beef pho. Thank me now. Then thank me again later. The beef pho flavor is unmatched. The veggies are perfectly cooked and they give you perfectly steamed broccoli, mushrooms, & carrots, not just the leftover boiled veggies from veggie broth like some other places. The ambience is great for a casual lunch or night out. Service is decent...they'll get you in & get you out. It's my fave go-to takeout and once the ladies learn who you are they'll make sure your order is always done right.

I ordered takeout from this place l and was really excited for my oxtail pho. However I was disappointed to find a piece of hair in my oxtail pho. Oxtail pho - I tried a bite of it before I noticed the hair. The broth was light and the noodles were good. The oxtail wasn't super tender. Cha Gio - the egg rolls were crispy and the filling was flavorful.

Popped in for late lunch on dreary rainy Saturday. We were seated right away, they were not overly busy there were always people coming and going. Our server/host brought waters and took our orders, I have to say they're very efficient! Place is clean, nicely decorated, painted muted green with Asian accents on walls. I ordered short rib pho special and it was amazing and really hit the spot on cold day. Huge chunks of tender meat, tasty broth and veggies - what more can you ask for. Price wasn't listed or poss I didn't noticed it but it was well worth it for 20$. Portion was huge and I was able to eat about half and rest took home. My daughter ordered grilled chicken fried rice her only complaint was there was too much chicken otherwise it was delicious!

We have now been to Pho Saigon twice. The menu is enticing, lots of choices! Both times my dining partner has ordered the Yello pancake as her main. No lie, it is truly the best in the area. Full of savory notes and attentively cooked. The pho, unfortunately, is a mixed bag. The broths were both excellent. But for whatever reason the noodles have been all but fall-apart mush. There are many other Vietnamese dishes I like, so I will skip the pho next time and focus on those.

Good pho and very quick attentive service. This is the only Pho spot I've tried in the area, so I can't compare it to the others but it was very good basic Pho at a good portion and price. Recommend adding the chili oil in for spice!

The pho broth is by far very tasty in Richmond. And that's usually what I look for when I want a hot bowl of pho anywhere I go.

I especially enjoyed the Mì Xào Giòn Đồ Biển, featuring crispy pan-fried noodles topped with seafood and vegetables. It was light, flavorful, and had a great balance of seafood and veggies. I also ordered the Cơm Đậu Hũ Chiên Giòn, which comes with crispy fried tofu over rice. I wasn't expecting the tofu to be marinated, but it added a delicious savory flavor that I really enjoyed. Overall, it's a no-frills spot serving comforting Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. There was plenty of seating inside and ample parking around the building.

The facility is WAY to big to have only 1 old man serving and hosting at the same time. Especially on a weekend. Not worth the wait and once i saw there was literally 4 tables who just had menus on their tables waiting to order.. i knew i had to get out before i realize that i waited over 40minutes to order. So i left right away. I may try them one day but definitely not worth dining at a place that cant spend money on waiters for their restaurant on a weekend.

The menu is loaded with many Vietnamese delights, but I was only there for Pho, so I asked what broths they make and was surprised to learn they make beef, chicken, and vegetable broths for their Pho! Many places I visit only seem to make a beef, so I was happy to be able to enjoy chicken broth with my Phở gà. I told him to pack the order securely as I had a long drive home, but that clearly didn't happen. I didn't wait long for my order, maybe 10 minutes total and when I got it, it was in a tied plastic bag, which I carried out. I felt heat on the bottom and thought maybe one of the lids leaked, so when I looked at the lids, they were very poorly secured, which is an issue. They bought terrible, cheap, low-grade quart containers, which barely hold the lid. So I seatbelted the bag in my front seat and made it home fine. But when unpacking at home, I noticed the large round containers they put the main food in had lids that was sitting on top of the base, but didn't lock on at all - Again, cheap containers. They also had a nice assortment of accoutrement in that container, but everything was mixed together, both the cold and the hot - this is NOT appropriate. You should never pack cold and hot things in a single vessel when food is "to go." Even still, we separated everything and when it came time to eat, the noodles were so soft, they were melting. The broth was on the bland side, so I found myself adding Sriracha and salt for the first time ever to my Pho broth. The veggies were fresh though. The chicken looked and tasted good, but there were several odd, dark pieces in it that wasn't appetizing to come across. Overall - I really wanted to love this experience, especially since the smell inside that restaurant was great, but I feel it was slightly less than was it should have been. I'd say this was a 3.5 star visit, but will rate on the hi-end at 4 stars. Would I return? Not for Pho.

I am not sure what went wrong, but it felt like my noodles weren't fully cooked and the broth wasn't hot enough to cook it all.
