plaza center parking lot. plenty of seating inside. quick service. pay at counter. good food.

#21 from the menu! Very delicious and aromatic!

Second time coming in and will continue to be a current customer. The restaurant is near downtown Houston but it's far away so you don't have to be stuck in the traffic. There's lots of parking and it's very popular. I order the large pho #21 today and it was an excellent choice. By adding the complimentary herbs and sauces, you can customize to your tasting. It feels very filling but you walk out feeling good. The service was super fast and I just sat down, ordered and in about 6 mins my plate was there. The restaurant is kind of big so there's a lot of sitting space and good family ambiance. I recommend it to definitely try it!

The food itself was tasty, but $13 for 2 pork chops (half of it is bone) is pretty insane. I get inflation costs and all, but I definitely left unsatisfied with basically a 1/2 meal portion!

Had a sandwich I was hungry It's was 7/10

I don't know if I'm gonna give them another chance we'll see. Like I said, the food wasn't bad but it could've been better.

I went with some friends to grab a bowl of pho due to the cold weather. The broth and the bowl of pho was absolutely delicious. Perfect spot to go when craving pho. The servers were friendly. There was lots of space inside and lots of people. There were plenty of families but also people who were enjoying their meals on their own. They do have limited parking space as there are other stores in the same plaza, so we had to hunt for a spot. You do have to go pay at the front at the end of the meal.

Came in for lunch on a wed, place is packed with people seated immediately in one of last 2 tables. Dress code: casual Food 4.5/5: ordered their special combination, broth was very flavorful, generally very good, would have been nice to have a bit more protein Ambiance 3/5: clean, casual, nothing wrong with it but nothing that wowed either Service 4/5: fairly quick and polite, Value 4.5/5: pho tends to usually be high value, pretty good price even among pho places at 12$/large bowl Overall 4/5: great food at a good price. Among the better phos I've had in town, would likely come back if in the area. Parking: tiny parking lot that always seems full with a small parking garage. Overall plaza seems a bit sketch, especially the gara

Got a Vietnamese ice coffee where you pour the coffee yourself. Really enjoyed that experience. The spring rolls were perfect. Pho lacks depth in flavor and a bit disappointing Service was really quick and efficient Overall vibe is a place for a quick drop in eat and get out.

There is so much to love or even just like when it comes to Pho Saigon. As someone who knew and fondly remembers the old Little Saigon during its heyday, it's easy to wax nostalgic about the Vietnamese business community when it was much stronger in Midtown. If you remember old favorite haunts like Vietnam Restaurant, Les Givrals, Van Loc, the old Mai's before the fire and Hoa Binh supermarket, you can probably appreciate the sentiment. This part of town is so different now, with a lot more residential and commercial development in the area. What has gotten lost in the mix, though, is the original character of the neighborhood. Much of the credit for that character should go to the Vietnamese American business owners who kept the area going regardless of demographic changes, economic downturns and myriad other challenges. Pho Saigon, simply put, is a neighborhood gem, and I hope it stays in the area forever...if that's possible. I am one of those people who sticks to Phở Tái and Phở Gà, when I should really a bit more adventurous. What I really like to order from Pho Saigon is Phở Tái. Although the broth isn't the best nor my favorite, what inspires me about this Pho is how fresh and high quality the ingredients are. You can tell the owners really care about not only the presentation, but the quality. And it shows. The Phở Tái here is so delicious. I like to add as much of the mung bean sprouts, basil and sliced jalapeño as I can to the bowl. I never write this in my reviews, but please continue to support this excellent business and keep it going for decades into the future. Highly recommended.

Solid 3 stars. I used to go to the location off of Hollister near 290 years ago. That was my go to for Vietnamese food back in the day. Now that I'm in downtown, I decided to give them a try. Their service here is top-notch. My food came out instantly. The customer service is great. Everyone that works Here is very friendly. Food: again the food came out extremely fast, which was pretty cool. The egg roll was simply amazing. The fried egg was good as well. The white rice was good. The fish sauce was good. Even the broth that came out with the meal was simply amazing. Now this is where the three stars begin. The beef was good, but there were several pieces that were very tough. I mean, they weren't even edible. It was almost like it was very different kind of meat compared to the other pieces. With the beef beef and so inconsistent how to drop two stars. It's almost like it's been sitting there all day or something. Make my beef fresh. Don't bring it out within seconds. There's no way that beef could've been made fresh because it came out within two minutes or less. I get it. You're trying to prepare because you want to serve people quick but you're selling yourself short by serving beef that's been sitting all day long. That's where the two stars were lost. Everything else was great though. I would definitely come back and give them another try during lunchtime, but guys you gotta cook the beef in the dishes fresh.

I'm vegetarian so I had vegetarian pho here, which was really delightful! I also ordered vermicelli, but it the noodle wasn't cold enough for my liking but the it was still good. The food came out with it 10 min of us ordering when we ordered 4 different dishes all together. It is a good spot to hang with friends and enjoy good Vietnamese food!

Andrew W.

Vegetarian pho is the way to go! The food came out very quickly, it only took them 5 min for the food to be served. We ordered vegetarian pho, vegetarian spring rolls, vegetarian vermicelli. All the food was really good, the vermicelli could have been a little colder in temperature that would have been perfect. The noodle consistency for pho was really good as well. Would recommend this to any vegetarians in the area!

Not many restaurants in Houston offer Takowasa, which is marinated raw octopus with wasabi; and when we find one that does, it's our must order for appetizers. We also ordered the chicken karaage and agedashi tofu. The karaage was juicy and slightly larger than the size of popcorn chicken. The tofu was soft and lightly battered, however the downside is that it gets soggy quickly since it's sitting in the sauce rather than on the side. For our entrees, we got the carbonara, curry tonkatsu rice, niku tama ankake, and kakuni udon. The carbonara was nice and creamy. The curry rice tastes exactly like the Japanese box curry. The niku tama is more of a thicker soup base similar to egg drop soup, however has a more slightly sweet umami flavor. The kakuni udon had a lighter broth with braised pork belly. The service was a bit slow here, but we didn't mind it too much. The interior had a cute traditional Japanese style decor. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and we'll be back to try other udons.

Before their recent expansions to Austin, it all began here in Rice Village exactly 15 years ago. The vibes are contemporary and casual, with the kind of space that fits for just about any scenario. Whether it's a solo meal, a lunch date, or a group led affair, the experience is almost always an excellent one. Start by ordering at the counter and find a seat where the food will brought directly to the table. So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their spicy crispy brussels sprouts ($10) are a nice starter, as is the squash "onion" rings ($12). The local power bowl ($16) is a classic and I've always enjoyed the brown rice and quinoa combo. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth. The chicken shawarma bowl ($20) is an interesting mix that includes pickled beets and strawberries, along with their market cheddar burger ($17) and fabulous twice cooked fries. The carrot cupcake is strangely addicting, and I think their gluten free brownie is a bit of a sleeper. Some of their items didn't jive with me previously, such as an underwhelming cashew queso ($9), a semi-laughable Vietnamese steak bowl ($22), and their semi-gringo version of a banh mi ($15). It's not that these items are bad per se, but they definitely don't live up to the same standard that I feel their other dishes do best. Where they hit the biggest home run is their customer service. Everyone working behind the counter does their best to deliver and they almost always do by staying on top of refills, cleanups, and customer greets. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and look forward to every visit.
