    really nice rib pho
    Ray S.

pretty solid vietnamese pho in downtown, not pricey at all. the rib pho is probably the best I've had in a long time, love their ice coffee!

    Appetizer platter and beef Phorrito

Food. Small little hole in the wall that's available primarily for late breakfast and lunch. It does have parking. It's literally right underneath the 10 freeway between Hill and Olive. Mom and Pop run frequency by local workers in the region as as well as hospital employees from California hospital Had the Phorrito in both the pork and beef. Beyond delicious. I highly recommend the pork that was my favorite. The beef was tasty as well, but the pork was over-the-top delicious. Also got the appetizer platter to get a good mix of their appetizer, which was delicious as well. My favorite of appetizers was the shrimp crispy shrimp wraps. Most definitely will go back again. The older woman who seems to run the place was very friendly very tasty food in a very super casual setting.

This is a small Vietnamese restaurant within walking distance from the California medical center. I saw "phorrito" on Yelp and I have never had it or seen it at any other Vietnamese restuarants so I thought I'd give it a try. It's listed under appetizers on the menu. I had pork phorrito. It's sooooo good. It contained lots of pork. Reasonable portion for the price. I was already full after eating half of the phorrito and the soup. I only took a few sips of Vietnamese iced coffee. The coffee was great too. It's flavorful and thick. I'd definitely revisit this place because other food in the photos on here look amazing too! Lastly I wish the service could be faster. There were only me and 1 other customer and it took a while for them to serve me my food.

My friend Moises and I ate lunch here! Amazing food.

I loved our meal here. The broth had such a delicious sweet, savory, smooth taste, and the veggies and meat were great quality. The owner is working hard and it shows. The coffee was tasty; I love coffee and I had to order extra! Recommend #15.

Beef pho 15. Well-Done Brisket and Slice of Eye-Round Steak Noodle Soup

It was good, had a good amount of meat not enough noodles! Quick service per usual for Pho! I recommend ordering extra noodles. It's a large spot! Decent parking lot size too.

This is definitely a hidden gem downtown! The food is delicious! The owner is so sweet! I got the well done brisket, eye round steak noodle soup. Will post picture. It was before I got the sides. Comes with cilantro, sprouts, jalapeños & cilantro, lime . & basil with request. I also got the egg rolls, again delicious! If you're in the area, you probably shouldn't think about it. Just go inside you won't regret it. ! It's small inside, but the portions aren't lol

Very busy, but only one server is working, Pho noodle taste good. Price is reasonable.

    Chicken pho

Little hole in the wall kinda hidden . Parking is small but not a problem finding one . I was a little skeptical at first but thought why not give it a try? We ordered online for pick up , pulled up. Service was decent nice people . Food wise i rate it 8/10 i got the chicken pho and my hubby got the beef pho and we both liked it . Over all easy and yummy . gonna be our local pho plug !

Good service. Very friendly and very helpful. Its a bit of a hole in the wall, but places like these aways have the best food.

The space itself is cute, trendy, and modern, but according to my Korean friends, the food stays true to tradition -- which is exactly what you want from a place like this. There was a line when we got there, but it moved quickly -- and they came around to take our order while we were still waiting, so food came out fast once we sat down. I've had bossam before and always got cold, sliced meat -- not my thing. Here, it comes out hot, and the pork jowl was incredible. I genuinely could not stop eating it, so tender with that perfect grilled edge. They also start you off with a little bowl of barley rice (bori bap) as part of the banchan -- first time trying it and it was such a nice, unexpected touch. We also shared the chicken sujebi and it was pure comfort in a bowl. The hand-torn noodles were perfectly chewy and the broth was seasoned just right -- not too salty, just deeply savory. Heads up on parking: it's tough. I got lucky with street parking but it's only 1-hour limit, so keep an eye on the clock. The lot is valet only and looked chaotic when we pulled up, so budget extra time (and maybe cash) if you go that route. Honestly one of my favorite meals I've had in Koreatown, and a great spot to bring visitors -- my friends loved it too. Already planning my next visit to work through the rest of the menu. Highly recommend, especially if you love Korean comfort food done right.

The service is attentive, even when busy. We arrived shortly after they opened at 10 AM, and by 11:30 AM, there was a line outside. This place truly delivers! We ordered two popular dishes, including the Chicken Kalguksu (knife-cut noodles with chicken, squash, kabocha, potato, and dates in chicken and anchovy broth) and the Hangari Bossam (medium, boiled and tender pork belly with cabbage leaves and kimchi). The Chicken Kalguksu was a highlight with its thick, chewy noodles and creamy broth. The squash was a delicious addition - comforting and warm, a must-order! The Hangari Bossam (medium) was perfect for sharing, and the tender pork belly was amazing with the cabbage and kimchi. I especially enjoyed it with the jalapeños; it's the best of both worlds, melting in your mouth! We left feeling full and happy, already looking forward to our next visit. This is a must-try in Ktown!

We used to go to the LA location all the time, and it was always one of our favorites. I'm so happy to say the Houston location tastes just like the one in LA. I do wish I'd tried the thicker noodles, but paying an extra $3 just to switch noodle styles felt a little ridiculous. We also tried the gyoza, which were good, but I wish they had come with a more traditional soy-based dipping sauce instead of already being dressed in chili oil. I'd definitely come back, especially to try the dipping ramen. I'd never had tsukemen before, and it sounded so good that I was already regretting not ordering it by the end of the meal.
