My son has been here before, and took me and my mother here to eat for our first time. We ordered 2 different kinds of PHO My son had the one that he had last time I asked a waitress. What did she recommend she suggested the steak PHO and mom had Beef and broccoli. All very tasteful definitely must have the PHO . We ordered brisket pho and combination fried rices and summer rolls. Brisket pho(3/5)-it was ok but I can tell soup was better taste than other places wherever I go for pho. Combination fried rice(3/5)- a lot of protein inside of fried rice. Summer rolls(4/5)- I like this place summer rolls. I love pho! Was brought here by my girlfriend so sometimes I doubt the places she pics LOL. But I gotta say, with this one she hit it out the park, what a GEM. We arrived early in the day so it was slow. We were sat immediately. I appreciate the decor and how clean the restuarant was. The glass table top were a plus for me. The two young ladies who attended to us were exceptional. Now to the food, this has been by far one of the best tasting pho I have had! The food arrived fast and it was nice and hot! Which I personally prefer. The brisket was nice and tender and the broth was out of this world, it was like a warm hug. I ordered the vegetarian pho and my gf ordered the oxtail pho. In terms of flavor, the oxtail pho was actually pretty good. However, the vegetarian pho was lacking a bit of flavor. I understand it probably isn't the easiest making a super tasty vegetarian based pho, but this was pretty dull. I probably wouldn't order that again, but like I said earlier, the beef was good. The broth is clean and flavorful seasoned perfectly. Portion size is huge and I only finished a fourth and was so full. The order came with a good size portion of meats, veggies and a few packets of hoisin and sriracha. I like eating here as the flavors are authentic. Spacious pho restaurant in a little KTown plaza. Conveniently located right next to a bus stop. Valet parking in the lot, but you should be able to self park/street park. The takeout and ordering in experience is very fast, and staff is nice. They have the menu under a glass cover on every table, at every seat. I felt pho was better than average, but not the best I've had. I got the pho with meatballs, and the meatballs came quartered. I didn't enjoy the texture of the meatballs and it's possible they could have been frozen, which was regretful because I feel like a proper, handrolled meatball can really make a bowl of pho go to the next level. Good amount of noodles and the broth was also good. We also got the vermicelli and grilled pork, which was flavorful. Dish came with pho broth and a spicy/sour dipping sauce. I'll probably opt for a vermicelli/rice plate next time I come here. Overall, prices are very fair for LA. A bowl of pho will run you $12 here, and a combination pho (with varied meats like their brisket, tripe, meatball etc.) is just above $13. Hits the spot for pho, but not mindblowing to me. Solid pho restaurant in the middle of Ktown! Came during a Sunday afternoon around 2pm and waited outside for about 10 minutes before we got seated as a party of 2. Whenever I get pho, I always order a pho tai (rare steak). My bowl came out pretty quickly, and it was very straight forward. Warm, soothing broth with your typical pho rice noodles. The rare steak comes out pretty pink, hence the name, but cooks fairly fast in the hot broth. The portions were pretty generous, and I remember leaving satisfied. The service was quick overall, from getting our orders taken till getting the bill. Ambiance wise, you can definitely tell this is a family-owned business so it's nice to be able to support! The business is family owned and operated, so the staff are incredibly friendly and get to know their regulars. I judge a pho place by the depth of flavor in the broth, the freshness of the vegetables, and the meat tenderness. The service is fast with plenty of open seating and big spacious tables. I like that the menus are laminated and placed underneath the tables so it can be read without people touching it or handling it during the rise of Covid. I've never had to wait at all for this place. The vegetables are always fresh and don't look wilted, brown, or old at all. They always look crisp, fresh, and new!!!! I like how everyone gets their own dish of veggies, limes, jalapeños, basil, and onions. Their portions sizes look small, but the depth of the bowl is deeeeeep and it'll fill you up. The pho broth was a little salty the last time I went but nothing a little hot water can't fix. The rare steak and the brisket is one of the most tender ones that I've had.
