First time here. Wanted something warm as it's been cold and wet all day. Had combo spring rolls and chicken pho. My husband had steak pho. All were good! Spring rolls were light and fresh. Soup was tasteful and satisfying. Will definitely come back and try the other items on the menu. read more

Really wanted to like this place because my co-worker raved about it but was disappointed relative to other pho restaurants in the area. I ordered the bun rieu felt the soup was unusually salty (by my first bite I realized I would not be able to finish the bowl). My husband liked his pho more and the broth was definitely better in that dish. The prices were reasonable and portions were a good size. I liked that they allow you to pay at your table, but disappointed by the 3% credit card fee. Our new favorite pho place & so close to home . We were so sad when pho 99 closed down by the hacienda movie theater and we're very eager to find a new place . Ordered grilled pork spring rolls, boneless chicken/egg rice plate, and chicken pho ga. Was delightfully surprised when the grilled pork spring rolls came out wrapped in rice paper instead of the normal fried wrap but it was perfect! Very tasty meal. read more

Not from that area but we had to stop by for something quick to eat coming back from Monterey heading back to Sacramento. The food was great. I ordered a pho. Basic but good. And my husband ordered a rice plated that he actually loved. The only thing that I find oddly strange was that they made us pay our meal with cash. I was just so confused because now that I'm checking yelp, it's says they take card and I didn't see any other review saying anything about it. I don't know if it was just us they don't like. We didn't ask for much. We order everything all at once and even ask for a small bowl and a scissor for my son. I had to ask again for the bowl after they brought out my noodle. The lady with the very short hair took our ordered. When we received our check, they told us they didn't take card. It wasn't noted anywhere in the restaurant. When we told them we didn't have cash. I seen the lady that took our order get kinda piss and threw the menu on the table. They told us there is a bank outside. Which my husband went to go get because it wasn't a problem. My hubby and I just had lunch here today and I'm so happy to say that they appear to have brought the recipes with them from their old location on San Ramon Valley rd. They relocated from Dublin and the place is still great. Looks like they just had their grand opening yesterday. I had their Special Item pho with short rib and it was delicious. Fall-off meat, fresh veggies, and delicious broth made the meal fantastic. I saw they offer boba so I had to try their taro smoothie and that was delicious too. Food was great and the service was friendly. Looking forward to making this my go-to Vietnamese food spot. read more

We tried this place for lunch and neither Yelp nor the restaurant let us down. We split the large combo pho with short rib and spring rolls and we left with happy full bellies. The amazing broth was rich in flavor. We put the tripe to the side but l'm sure it added to the yumminess of the broth. We'll definitely come back! read more

Food is great and you're definitely paying premium prices from their appetizers to their main plates. What turns me off is the additional credit fee of 3%, which isn't mentioned anywhere. I'd rather them bake that into the price of the pho versus actually earning margin on the fees, albeit small. read more

My daughter has been asking to go to a Pho restaurant, so we Yelped to see what was around and found Pho Saigon. I had the chicken and rice noodle soup, and she had the spicy beef soup. I thoroughly enjoyed mine, as did she. Hers was too spicy so she ended up picking at it and then eating the rest of mine. The portions are large, the toppings are fresh, and the staff was very friendly. It was very busy in there on a Sunday afternoon, all tables were filled constantly. Best pho! Our first time here and I typically order the chicken noodle soup at restaurants, and it was so flavorful!!! Busy but fast service! Huge portions of chicken, and a huge scoop of rice. This is new favorite place. What turned me off was the fact that my friend ordered a drink and it was filled with 75% ice and I don't like ice so when I ordered the same drink with no ice, they filled my cup half way. That was a big turn off for me and I doubt I'll come back. There's plenty of other restaurants that aren't that calculated on minor things like that. read more

I don't enjoy this but I have to do it. I was a faithful patron when they were in Dublin. I waited patiently after they moved, built a new restaurant, had a kitchen fire and closed for months, for them to reopen in Pleasanton. The decor and design of the restaurant looks great. The staff is friendly but not in sync yet. Several service errors, like forgotten food items and lack of follow up. Even got my check before I got all the food ordered. The portions have also gotten smaller while the prices have gone up significantly. I get it though... inflation, Pleasanton rent, staff walked during relocation and food costs are up. I look forward to a better experience next time in a couple months. Hopefully, they will get their groove back and increase the portion sizes to previous levels. I dont expect the prices to drop, just make it worth it. Also, new employees will likely get the sequence of service down and we will become regulars again. Fingers crossed! You can do it! read more

This was my first time here and I must say I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the #1 "Combo Pho with Short Rib". One of the two short ribs was fine, meaty and tender. The second was 90% bone and what little meat there was was as hard as wood and inedible. Very stingy on the meat portions. It had one half of one meatball (menu states meatballs, i.e. plural). Soup was nothing special, not a lot of flavor of its own. I expected higher quality for the price of $21. read more
