So we ordered two phos, shrimp salad rolls, and an order of potstickers. We get home and not only is there zero basil to be found in our toppings but they sent the beef in a to go container on top of my other pho ingredients but the beef was literally raw. This left my tofu soaked in bloody beef juice. The potstickers were super doughy not like Chinese potstickers as advertised and not fried at all but microwaved. Here's the best part: they completely forgot to put the salad rolls in and then when we called to let them know and that we wanted to come get them the lady tried to contradict us saying she had put them in the bag! She literally said "no they're in there." Well I don't about you but I think I know how to open a bag and what salad rolls look like! After hanging up on me (!!!!!) she finally said we could come back and get them. I will never go back. Cloud 9 is so worth the drive to mill plain. read more

Pho Saigon is so much better, hands down! Yes, it's dive-y but that's part of the charm. Inside is clean The gentleman who was serving was very gracious, quick and good at his job. He took pride in his service. Their Pho broth is flavorful, they don't skimp on the meat and yummy salad rolls! Their peanut sauce was thick and stuck to the salad rolls great. I will be back to try more off their menu and can't wait to take my son here (who is more of a Asian food snob than I am!) I also went to get gas at the station in the little strip mall and the owner came up and thanked me for filling up at their station! A nice unexpected perk after a great meal!! read more

This place had an overpowering bleach smell when we walked in on an early week night. The crispy spring roll was excellent. The pork bun was so-so; the filling was tasty but mushy. I could taste the pork but couldn't see it because of the disproportionate amount of gravy. The pho, the namesake of the restaurant, was a disappointment. It had too much broth and the brisket was a bit overcooked. It's nowhere close to the ones we ate in Vietnam where the servings were generous and the price was a lot better. The closest authentic pho we've tasted so far in the states is in Libertyville, IL and that's the standard we compare against. If you want to come here, ask about their cleaning schedule first. read more

The food here is really good, and it is fairly priced. Normally I would give this place 5 stars however I will only give them 1 because the customer service here is TERRIBLE. We came in with a party of 4. My friends all ordered meals and I ordered a appetizer for us to share and a coffee but told them I wanted more time to decide what else I want to order. The waiter tries to take to menu out of my hand anyways and I had to repeat my last statement. Than, the female Waiter came and hovered near the table until I was ready to order. We had to ask for water 3 times before they brought it to us. It took them 30 minutes for them to make coffee and bring it to us for me and my friend. Towards the end of the meal when my friend's daughter was finished eating they asked her if she wanted a to go box twice, each time my friend said no. The waiter ended up bringing us a to go box anyways. At the end of the meal when we asked for the check to leave the waiter told us we cannot not leave yet because they haven't even brought us the churro and milk shake my friend ordered for her daughter, that should have been given to us at the beginning! Fantastic Chicken Pho. Great broth! Salad rolls. With tofu we're good and fresh as well.

The flavors are perfect!!! You basically can't ask for a better bowl of pho soup. It's delicious, super flavorful, sweet but not too much, very well made and traditional. Has all the little veggies in it to give it the ultimate taste your tastebuds crave. I high recommend coming here because I know I'll be showing my face here again. read more

My gal friend and I go here whenever we have the chance. If you're unsure about what to order as far as pho goes, get the number 12. The broth is to die for. This is my absolute favorite place to eat. The people there don't speak perfect English but are very nice. Their prices are also wonderful. Was in the area with my fiancé and we decided to get Pho and found this place walked in and we where seated quickly, I ordered beef ball Pho and my fiancé ordered chicken Pho we got it and it was really good the broth had a pleasant taste and for me the beef balls where amazing and it was steaming hot, only downside was that they didn't have egg rolls, overall a good experience. read more

Just tried to call in a TO GO order at 8:15pm and guy says I can't cuz they're closed. Funny that they r supposedly open till 9pm.‍ And even funnier that my sister already called in her order minutes before and she was picking up mine too which I TRIED to explain but they were having none of it. Hands down the best Phó in Vancouver! This restaurant ran away with the coveted title of "Best Pho and Roll" competition in Vancouver. Over 15 restaurants were chosen for their better than average ratings from Portland, Vancouver and even a few from Seattle. Pho Saigon's beef broth, with it's rich beefy texture, balanced spices and satisfying finish, shamed the competition. The egg rolls were light and crispy, with a well developed pork and vegatable flavor. The dipping sauce was first rate and, and of course, adjustable to taste. Other selections from the menu are outside the scope of this rating and were not considered. Give this little hole in the wall a try. What it lacks in atmosphere and cheeky decor, if more than makes up for in quality. On other visits I have tried the standard menu offering and found them to be a bit below the benchmark set by their fantastic beef Phó soup stock....decent but not there. If you want the best soup come here to Phó Saigon. Better sandwiches, traditional Vietnamese cuisine, and fantastic meatball pastries can be had at Tan Tan Cafe on Mill Plain. read more

I've had pho on both coasts and a lot of places in between, and Phó Saigon holds its own with the best of them. As other reviewers have noted, the basil, sprouts and pepper served on the side are super fresh. But what really sets this soup apart is the most basic ingredient: the beef stock. It is very flavorful and would be great as a broth on its own. I have had other pho at other Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver, but many have fallen short because the soup was built around a watery broth that lacked the rich beef flavor that Pho Saigon's soups have. I've been here maybe a half dozen times and have never been disappointed. I've talked to the friendly chef about his soup. He's not going to spill his secret, that's for sure, but he'll tell you the proper way to prepare and eat your delicious bowl of pho for maximum enjoyment. By the way, the last time I was there I also got an order of chicken soup to take home to my ailing father, who reports that it, too, was top notch. read more

Stopped in for a Bánh mì for lunch, the place is nice its in a strip mall so there is not a whole bunch going on when I came in. The place was kind of crowded with people getting Pho. I guess if that is what I would have gotten it might have been better. I was looking just for a sandwich something that I could eat on the go well running errands. I have had Bánh mì around town at a couple of other places like Tan Tan and a place by New Seaons on 164th and that is what I was expecting. We stopped at Pho Saigon on our way home from Seattle because of the reviews that folks were giving this place. We are big into Vietnamese food, particularly pho, bun and salad rolls. It is surprising to us that this place received such high ratings! While the food was okay, there was nothing particularly memorable, special or good about the flavors and/or dishes. The salad rolls wrap was dry and grainy. They used pork slices, rice and a few cut up leaves of basil and carrots. The peanut sauce was pretty bad flavor and we ask for fish sauce instead. My beef pho was well below my standards. The broth was weak and flavorless. The meat was sparse and the noodles were a wadded gob at the bottom of the bowl. My friends bun was mediocre at best, made mostly with limp salad with a half dozen shrimp on top! There are SO many better choices than Pho Saigon. I would not go back. read more

I'll never eat here again. The first red flag was the lady in the back making our food while picking her teeth with a toothpick. Our chicken pad Thai was terrible and the chicken looked/tasted like canned chicken. I thought I had ordered from the Siagon restaurant down the road when I called for my "to-go" order, but thought we'd give this place a try when we learned our mistake. Went in on 11/29 and ordered a meal to go. Upon arriving to my house I unpackaged everything and I want to start off by saying that the beef pho I ordered came with all meats and I had 4 different types with one being uncooked and another smelling like cat pee. The pho noodles were described as vermicelli noodles but came out as these thick noodles and that's where one of my points went out the window. It is not hard to present some edible salad rolls but instead these were sloppily made and had no flavors with my boyfriend saying that they only tasted good with the peanut sauce. This place is ugly! The bottom of the tea cups say "Northwest Airlines" and the guy who takes the orders points to the number to make sure he heard you through broken English. The food though is totally worth it! The stocks are clear and rich, the kitchen is clean, the staff attentive and the food is fresh. Salad rolls where the tofu is still warm and wrapped right after you order them. Thiss place is worth a visit, but if you are looking for a hip upscale pho place, maybe check out somewhere else. read more

We tried the avocado drink and it was great and I hate avocado but thought I'd try it cuz it sounded weird and it didn't taste at all like avocado. Cant really say what it tasted like but it was good.i would order it again. The coconut drink was good too. It tasted like sweet toasted coconut. Ok, now for the food, we didn't really like the pho or the bun. It had a flavor that was hard to describe but another patron's review said, "like dirty socks." I think I need to go with that. I moved here from Orange County, CA and have been very disappointed in the Pho restaurants I had previously tried. Pho Saigon, I have to say is the BEST Pho I have had in the Vancouver area. The Service here continues to win me over! They are open EVERY day. Even during Snowpocalypse 2014. When I call to ask if they're open during this freezing rain snow debacle, he says "yes! We are open every day!" Followed by a "Drive Safe". Not giving them business because of a credit card limit or tax is just silly. I've never had a dish here I didn't like the fresh spring rolls are very fresh and the peanut sauce is satisfying and a good consistency where it is easily soaked up on the rolls. The pad Thai is seasoned well. The curry has lots of fresh veggies and a good flavor. They also have bubble tea which is hard to find in a small town.
