Service when I placed my order was very good. Restaurant was clean and inviting. I ordered the special fried rice and vegetable fried rice. I came to Pho steak bowl because Pho Gia Vi was closed. I love the combination fried rice at Pho Gia Vi but since they were closed today I tried this place. It was just ok. There were very small pieces of chicken and pork very little onion and vegetables. The shrimp were perfect. There wasn't any beef at all. That was very disappointing. It lacked flavor and was salty because of the soy sauce that they used when cooking. It wasn't overload in soy sauce but non the less the reason I like Vietnamese fried rice is because they don't turn the rice brown with soy sauce. It was on the dry side also. If you haven't tried Pho Gia Vi you need to. Their food is incredible and full of flavor. read more

The restaurant clearly needed additional help on the floor. Instead of helping the server who was running the whole restaurant, the manager disappears for 25-30 minutes and didn't help the poor guy who was struggling with doing everything alone. They also need someone more knowledgeable with the menu and experienced serving but that's besides the point. They brought me the wrong food. They forgot to bring everything that I ordered. Recently had a delicious dinner here with my friend. It was a rainy Saturday night and it was the perfect place to get a meal. The service was excellent and everyone there was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and bright. My friend and I shared an order of egg rolls which was served with the most delicious pickled carrots and radish. So good, in fact, they were kind to give us an extra plate of it. For my entree, I ordered the shaking beef which came with a nice portion of white rice. The beef was tender and perfectly cooked. My husband liked his meal (happy family), but the Pho wasn't great I've had way better in a million other places. My wife and I stopped for lunch: She had C7- Special Fried Rice with Shrimp(14.99); I had S4- Stir Fried Vegetables with Fried Tofu(14.99). The food was delicious, the portions were very large so that we both took home what we could not finish. It was enough to have another meal for us both. Was excited to see that a new Vietnamese restaurant had open in the Margate / Coral Springs area because this is very much needed. Upon arrival we were greeted by our hostess / waitress. She made a few suggestions and dishes were good. Portions are a tad smaller than other local restaurants where prices were comparable. Calamari had a great texture but lacked flavor in the batter. Pho broth is fatty so depending on your preference that's a hit or miss, Wonton Noodle bowl had perfect broth but I would recommend a different egg noodle, nothing worse than cheap dry bagged noodle. We ordered the bun bo Huế soup with pig feet and kitchen made an error when adding broth to the bowl (they gave us pho broth instead of bo hue broth but refused to admit they were at fault ... listen accidents happen, swap out the bowl and all is well but just hold accountability don't try to doctor it up by saying you don't add food coloring to your broth, it's like giving me chicken noodle soup broth in my beef chili and saying it's clear), the chicken fried rice was seasoned well. Staff needs more training because they were fumbling but to be expected when a place has just opened 4 weeks prior, if could would truly rate a 3.5/4. read more

I always crave a bowl of pork when feeling under the weather and since I've moved to South Florida I haven't found a pho place near me that hits the spot. When I say this new pho restaurant opened up I was excited and grabbed my car keys quickly. The food is great; vegetables are fresh and the appetizers have such good portion sizes for the prices. So delicious, so crispy. The pho was flavorful and didn't need any hoisin or sriracha. The staff was kind and attentive. They asked if I wanted chili oil and were always nearby. Service and food are good! We are from the Bay Area. We do have a large population of Vietnamese community so our expectations for Vietnamese food in Fort Lauderdale were not high but to our surprise Pho Steak Bowl was good. Ambiance was nice too. Jan 2024, came here with two friends on a Saturday night and the place was not that busy so we got seated right away. Inside there is plenty of seating, and the floors and tables are kept very clean, so I will give them 5 STARS for that. The young man who waited on us was very pleasant, but as a server he wasn't that good. To start, they ran out of forks so they gave us plastic forks. Our Server told us the forks were being washed and would not be ready in time for us to use. How crazy is that. We started with Appetizers, Spring Rolls, and Steamed Dumplings. Then our two Main dishes were Chicken and Broccoli, then Lemongrass Chicken. The Spring Rolls, and Dumplings came out first. Then my Main dish of Chicken And Broccoli came out. However, our friend's Lemongrass Chicken dish came out 15 to 20 minutes after our dish. We started to eat our meal because we didn't want it to get cold. We gladly shared our meal with our friend who was starving. If the owner is reading this review you should know better than to space out the dinner meals. All Main dishes should be brought out TOGETHER, NOT 15 - 20 minutes apart. We were not happy and complained, and you would think the restaurant would give us an accommodation or pay for the Lemongrass Chicken, but NO Offer. First my review concerns the chinese menus as my Wife had a Vietnamese dish and it was as bland however, not bad. I had the general tso chicken. The sauce was decent however the chicken had a mild taste of putrefaction in the chicken. My rice would have chef Ramsey throwing pots for being undercooked.
