This restaurant serves delicious pho and it'll likely be our go-to pho place if we are craving some soupy goodness before hitting the grapevine. Ordered the following: 1) Pho #1: my husband ordered this and said the ingredients are fresh and tasty. This was pho sure the first Vietnamese place in Santa Clarita I tried. They also claim to be the 1st authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the city! I tried che ba mau pudding dessert and spring rolls. My parents tried the pho. They said the pho was "an duoc" meaning "you can eat it." This to them means, it was good. My parents also mentioned that the service was great. The spring rolls however, were mostly stuffed with lettuce and it had very little vermicelli. It also didn't have pork. Traditionally, they come with both shrimp and pork. The peanut sauce it was served with tasted great and had a great texture that wasn't too thick or runny but the spring roll (AKA goi cuon) lacked fresh herbs/vegetables. There was no mint or chives, only lettuce. The dessert tasted good but the red beans were on the harder side. I would have enjoyed it a little more if they were more tender. They have outdoor dining right now. They sell a lot more than just pho. I am looking forward on coming back to try their rice plates, sandwiches (banh mi thit), bun bo hue and banh hoi! read more

What the Pho!? After a 25 minute wait they make a mistake and give our table to some other party that came after us! That. Sucks. For. Sure. I was ready to bounce the Pho out but instead decide to pass the time by starting this pissed off Yelp review...2 stars initially. We get seated at a big table and I cool down from my flare up. I know it's not personal and mistakes happen. This evening was my second visit after a year because I didn't like the pho (specifically the broth) the first time. I thought a year was enough time to evolve and improve. I order the V10 (rice noodles with grilled pork no broth). It was pretty good and I liked it. The iced Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk was not as bold I would like it but still delicious. Broth is still too diluted for my taste and I think the non-soup items are better here. Dining service is team based and that makes it consistently mediocre. There is no clear assignment of duties and if you are expected to do everything you won't do well at anything. I can't say I'm a fan but the owner made it up to us with a 20% discount. I'll come back to give them another chance because they were sincere in their apology. That's how my experience ended. Here's the deal: As a customer, I SUFFERED A FIRST DEGREE BURN from this restaurant on my very first visit. That's unheard of (like my Viet friend has told me), right?! Especially at an Asian eatery..... It's unfortunate because I came in looking forward to great tasting pho, fried egg rolls and their raved boba via yelp reviews/tips. But I got quite the opposite experience. We came on a busy Sunday brunch afternoon, it was packed, and we were forced to wait about 20 ish minutes. After that wait, we were finally seated and had different servers who took our order, served our egg rolls, served boba, etc. That's typical when it comes to asian restaurants. Never had a problem with that. The rolls came out, crunchy---they're ok. Not impressive. I've even had better at this one place in Glendale. These lacked somethin'. The boba was decent. Then came the Pho bowls (they were all right as well). When we were served the pho, this asian kid with glasses, comes out holding 2 HUGE bowls of pho, balanced on tiny plates in each hand, which the kid was holding from the bottom. With great difficulty, he served the first pho to my pops, nearly tips it, but my pops catches it. Next, he ungraciously again almost drops the pho on my bro, but the bro also helps him as the kid says, "Can you help me?" (REALLY kid?!) By the time it was my turn, I had the feeling it might just come crashing down on me. Low and behold, I didn't even know he was holding the soup behind/above me, and ends up spilling the hot soup on my THIGH! Which surprised me of course. I wasn't wearing jeans or thick pants, I was wearing leggings when this happened. I ran to the restroom, as the kid just looked on and didn't even offer a towel right away. What a nutso! He just hides afterwards in the back of the kitchen. What angers me is he couldn't take the time to PROPERLY do his job right. And yes, management should ALSO take the time to train their servers so this stuff doesn't happen!! So crazy! It only takes a MINUTE to tell 'em HOW to hold those dang bowls right. I feel that I am GENEROUS in giving this place 1 star. Seriously. I'm disappointed too that they didn't bother to refund or credit my pho meal at least!! It's mediocre food, and horrible horrible service. I know how a lot of Asian eateries work, and they're definitely not known for good service but to spill your namesake soup on a customer!!! ....And not do ANYTHING about it is just unacceptable. Honestly, they did this to the wrong person. A lot of worse stuff could've come out of this. Food is decent for what you can find in Valencia but I've been finding out that the more popular this place gets, the service keeps getting worse and worse. Everyone needs to step up their game, especially if they are going to have multiple people wait different tables. The bun Bo hue here isn't too spicy so it's doable, and the pho is just basic. I've been coming here for years but hadn't been back since before the pandemic, until now. The food here is as solid as any of the authentic pho places in the SFV (I.e., my tried and true Pho So 1). The quality of the food was still excellent, portions reasonable and service quick for dine in (in a big white tent currently). You order your food and pay for it before they bring your food to the table. Everything is served to you in to go/disposable containers. Top notch Vietnamese here, pho sho! I'd be here twice a week if I lived in the area. Great food, atmosphere and staff. Pho Tai had perfectly seasoned broth, clean with just the right salty sweetness. Charbroiled pork rolls are always my go-to on a menu, and they were excellent as well, with just the right blend of lettuce, herbs, vermicelli and BBQ pork that's as mouthwatering as bacon. Always a hit. I wouldn't mind eating here at least once a week actually. Lunch or dinner. Chicken or seafood pho for me, but all their food is tasty. Service is acceptable. When it comes to Pho in this city there isn't many options and there certainly isn't many good options. This place is a good option! Did I enjoy the food? PHO SURE! Ok ok.. I'll spare you all the puns hahah. There were so many positives about this place and a few negatives but those aren't their fault really. Let's start with the positives. The food is really really good! I got P2 the Pho Tai Filet $12. Yeah.. that's Filet Mignon inside Pho! It had a wonderful flavor to all of it, it wasn't watery tasting like some people said here in their reviews. I would recommend this when you go. The service was another plus. They were quick to seat me and quick to get me a drink and take my order. There are a few guys walking around consistently to check on everyone so you never feel neglected. It's a small place so with that can mean a busy place with sometimes a bit of a wait to get a table. Especially around lunch time and 5-6ish. A small place also means tables super close together. You feel like you're right on top of the person next to you. So you get to hear all the juicy details about their life. Ok Jeff.. your girlfriend has shared her feelings about how average of a bf you are, and now because of the distance in tables the entire row of tables we're at knows all about it. Maybe if you wanted him to do more for you Jessica he could have started with paying the bill.. *sips tea* Anyways.. You can see my point, the tables are super close there's not even a foot separating you and the other person. But I get it, they need to get as much in as they can to keep the line moving. (A Ha Ha Ha pun intended!!!!) my friends and i went here after going to the getty! if you were wondering, the getty was pretty fun. the only thing is that we kept getting targeted and the security guards kept staring at us. i don't blame them though... because we aaAAreee a group of teens so we did seem kinda sus. i would probably do the same if i were them tbh. but it was kinda annoying because we would literally just breathe and then they would start yelling at us D: anyways, back to the pho! it was really good! i got the kids pho with brisket! the broth itself was really nice. i did wish there was a little teensy tiny bit more brisket though. i also got some of the eggrolls and shared them with my friend janel. we really liked it!!! i also also got thai tea boba! if you like your thai very tea sweet, i think you will really like their thai tea! it was good!! their boba was also really nice. it had a good squish. the overall atmosphere of the place was really nice. there were TVs and they were playing these videos of camels!! the booths were pretty cozy as well. and the customer service was nice in that they were talking to us like we were actual people!! it was really cool. also their bathrooms were nice. anyways pho sure is SO PHO-KING GOOD!!!! It's great that another Vietnamese restaurant opened in the Santa Clarita Valley. There are only a few around in the valley that you can choose from. This is your typical Pho restaurant that serves your typical Vietnamese dishes. Their food is good but I didn't find anything spectacular about this place. The service on the other hand was not great. We ate at the restaurant when there was only like 4 people eating inside the restaurant. The 3 waiters were busy taking to themselves near the kitchen area and you can even hear their conversations. I was trying to get their attention because I needed silverware but they weren't paying attention to the customers. Finally, when one waiter came out from the kitchen area, you can see him chewing on food. He must have been eating lunch while he was on duty. read more

OUTSTANDING! I had a question about a side item and the waiter took his time to explain how the main item is served and how it is to be eaten by Vietnamese culture. At first, I thought I had it and the food was delicious. When I showed the waiter how I did it, he showed me the cultural way to do and it was amazing. That subtle difference made it that much more enjoyable. This is my new and only Pho place. This is a great place. My husband happened to stumble upon this restaurant a few months back (on one of his business trips) and swore they served good pho. Thus, we decided to make the detour off the freeway; this place is about 15 minutes in suburbia. We ordered a large bowl, a rice plate, egg roll appetizer and 2 drinks. I had also requested extra noodles & broth (which we later discovered was an additional 6.50). I found the service to be lacking considering it was a Thursday night and not at full capacity. I saw several workers gossiping and not tending to customers. Luckily, we were seated near the register and were able to flag down employees for extra bowls, napkins, forks, etc. As for the food, I felt it came out slowly compared to other pho restaurants and truthfully, I have had better. Also, the boba pearls on our Thai iced tea kept getting stuck in the straw (a big clump and impossible to drink). On a positive note, parking was plentiful and the restrooms were clean. This place is literally around the corner from my house and I have been dying to try it since we moved to Valencia a year ago. I finally had the chance and I totally regret not going sooner! We called ahead to order take out and was told my order would be ready in 20 mins. We arrived and I went in to pay. All the orders that are ready are on individual numbered tables. I gave the waiter my name, he told me what table number to pick up my food from and paid. The to go portions are very generous! I felt like we received a good portion of brisket and noodles for the soup container. The hubster and I were so stuffed that we couldn't finish the egg rolls. I'm seriously torn about rating this place a 3,4,or 5 star establishment because every time I come by this restaurant my food is not always consistent. Food- 3/4 stars- I've tried several dishes and for the most part the dishes that I've tried have been pretty good. There are just a couple that I was not really impressed with. 1. C1- not my usual order however I wanted to try something different. The Cornish hen was very moist. This dish was served with your choice of red rice or regular steamed rice and their pickled veggies which are are really good in my opinion. 2. Banh mi sandwich with charbroiled beef- I thought this Vietnamese sandwich was pretty good. It had the right amount of pickled veggies and they were not stingy with the meat. Size of the sandwich was also pretty decent. My only issue is the price. $7.25 for a Vietnamese sandwich. I grew up in LA and I use to buy my Vietnamese sandwiches from Chinatown and SGV...So you know... 3. V4- the vermicelli noodles with egg rolls and charbroiled beef. This is my go to dish. Just the right ratio of noodles and veggies. The problem is... the past couple times I ordered this dish I found a piece of hair intertwined in my veggies. I did bring it to the management's attention and they did take it off my bill, but still...*sigh* 4. K1- kids pho- it only includes the noodles and rice. For $6.95 I think it is pretty expensive 5. S6- Banh Hoi- this is my other go to dish. It's like a deconstructed V4. 6. Kids Pho- This only has the broth and noodles. Its ok. I come here because it is the most convenient viet place for me, not my go to for Viet food in the SCV. I will continue my search. Cheers!!! read more

Went here on a saturday afternoon to dine-in for lunch. It was not too busy. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the place (even the restroom). The staff was very nice and attentive. My dining partner ordered the bun bo hue. I tried the broth with a spoonful of the noodles and it was really good (very flavorful). I wasn't really craving pho on a hot day so I ordered the stir fried veggies with shrimp, calamari, chicken, beef, and gravy with the crispy fried noodles. Both were from the specialty section on the menu. The portion of my dish was huge and I only ate like 1/3 of it because we also had ordered some shrimp spring rolls and fried pork/shrimp dumplings for appetizers. I would probably ask for no beef next time because I felt like it didn't fit into the overall flavor profile of the dish (just my preference). It was still very good though. We also had the green thai tea and sweet iced tea with orange and mint. Both were real brewed and good, but I preferred the iced tea more. It just tasted very very refreshing on a hot day. read more

This is the closest authentic Pho you'll find in Santa Clarita. I've been going here since I was in high school (5-6 years) and I feel that they've been slacking. The best part about this location is that it has plenty of chairs compaired to the other few pho places in SCV and 2 TV's. The service is always good and the servers are always helpful. There's always plenty of parking since it's in the same lot as Albertsons so you don't have to worry about finding parking at all. It's pretty cheap and they give a good amount of food. The portions are usually plentiful and I never am able to finish a bowl. I recently ordered the P10 which has tendon, brisket, and eye round steak. I also recommend getting the P1 which has eye round steak, tendons, brisket, tripe, and flank. Any of their pho beef noodle soup is pretty good. The broth itself is delicious but I knocked down a star in my review because this broth is pretty bland compared to other authentic Pho places I've visited but a little addition of condiments such a sriracha can fix this. In addition they always give me plenty of meat (which is pretty flavorful) in my soup! They also have vegetarian options such as the P25, P26, and P28. For appetizers, my family loves he egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls. I don't get those because I'm allergic to shellfish but my family never fails to order those two! I personally just get the fried dumpling with cream cheese and I love the wonton wrap & the sweet and sour sauce they give. Their boba is okay, I wouldn't recommend buying it. Boba that's "okay" isn't worth $4 in my opinion. Overall, if you're in SCV and don't want to drive to the valley or LA, this is your best bet!! read more
