If you have a party of 1 to a party 30, Saigon Brother can easily accommodate you. Great service, clean, beautiful place and delicious food. my daughter and I recently went with my son and five of his college friends. My son lives in Eugene, Oregon and the Vietnamese restaurants (hard to find) does not compare to Saigon Brothers. When I asked my son what he wants to do for lunch, first thing that came out of his mouth was Saigon brothers. So I packed everyone in my car and off to Saigon Brothers we went. All his friends loved it, they said they wish they had this restaurant at their college. They'll be here for the summer and will be visiting Saigon Brothers several times with their family and friends. Thank you, Saigon brothers for always being awesome

Love Pho, and this is a great spot here in Northridge. Been here many times and started a review and realized I never finished it. The restaurant itself has a lot of seating, all inside, nothing outdoor at this location. Inside is clean and practical. It does have a beautiful painted mural along the entire wall which I don't believe was there before, but whomever did it, did an excellent job, pretty cool. The staff is super friendly, the food comes out fast and they come around often making sure we had everything we need and keeping drinks full. Places that keep my drink full are places with great service typically. I almost always get one of the Pho soups, but tonight I decided to get their Cornish Game Hen with veggies and rice, a chef's special. It was very, very tasty. The hen was done with a really crisp outside and super tender inside. I added jalapeños and cilantro as well. Excellent choice. My wife got her vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg rolls with fish sauce on the side. This is also an excellent tasting dish and I would recommend either of these as well as the Pho here and pretty much everything here tastes amazing. Unfortunately, I did not get shots of the menu. They are located at the corner of Nordhoff and Reseda. Large parking lot with plenty of parking. Enjoy!

I have been to Saigon Brothers in Northridge, on numerous occasions. Each visit has been rewarding, one way or the other. This time, to get a carry out of their Banh Mi with grilled beef. Together with, pate, julienned cucumbers, carrots, jalapeño and other ingredients inside a split baguette is a joy to savor. Especially, if the baguette is well toasted to have a crisp but soft exterior that gives you a good crunch and a bite, at the same time. Saigon Brothers has never disappointed in this department. Their Banh Mi is a superbly freshly assembled preparation. They take good care of you while you wait for your order to be prepared. Always providing dependable, friendly and customer oriented service.

My order was to go - and we ordered pork & eggroll vermicelli plate, eggrolls, and bo ne sizzling skillet with homemade bread. For a to go order I was quite surprised because our eggrolls still came out crunchy when we got home. The homemade bread was delicious although a little chewy maybe it's good heated or toasted. The vermicelli plate my sister had was also delicious although it wasn't my cup of tea. Place was clean, staff was so fast and directed us where to pick up our order. It's a different flavor for Vietnamese food - they put in their different twist on their flavor. Lots of seating. Lots of parking in a big plaza.

Used to order all the time but so disappointed with the servings. Ordered the beef with lemongrass vermicelli and look how little meat they gave lol

We ordered the chicken pho and the soup was tasty. The chicken though is a bit dry even when they're in the soup. The place is clean and busy on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of families with kids. Next time we want to try the rice dishes and their sandwiches. We will be back for more

10/10 delicious pho vegan soup with perfect amount of veggie and side servings absolutely love it. Highly recommended!

Was craving some pho and my friends had suggested this spot, and they highly recommended it. I ordered the steak pho and in all honesty it was okay, I compare it to my favorite spot roughly down the street. For me personally, I thought the noodles were a little too firm for my preference. However, the food that my friends got and they absolutely loved it. The service was really good, the staff were really nice which I appreciated. The inside the restaurant had a nice aesthetic to it. Overall, I think this place was okay if you're in the area and wanting some pho

Avocado shake - light avocado flavor, not too sweet

I returned to Saigon Brothers after a really great first visit and this time the experience was a bit different. It was a busy Friday night and the team seemed understandably stretched. Service felt a little chaotic, and at one point I was handed another guest's credit card by mistake with my bill after I just started eating my bowl of pho. The avocado shake was lighter in flavor than expected and tasted more milky than avocado-forward. The pho was still good, but the portion of meat seemed smaller than what I remembered from my last visit. For around $27 for a regular size bowl of pho and a shake including tip, I wasn't sure the value was quite there this time. I know prices are going up everywhere, and the restaurant was clearly doing a big dinner rush, so maybe it was just an off night. If you're looking for a place that is less chaotic, try Khuu Bistro when you're in the mood for Vietnamese food.

Came in, quick service. servers always kind. Ordered the egg rolls (I've had before and they are always delicious. Comes with sauce, carrots, cucumbers and mint) and Grilled Pork Bahn Mi for the first time. Wow. Bread was fresh and warm. It's made in house! it was DELICIOUS. So glad I tried. The bread was so warm and fluffy but had a nice crunch on the outside. Pork is always a go to, especially for the Spring Rolls too. Do recommend the eggrolls, Pho, and now the Bahn Mi! Can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu!

Updating my review. Sadly this place has gone down. Quality and quantity of food. I came in last month to try something new. I usually always get Pho. I tried the beef bone soup. Broth was so watery and bland. Meat on the bone was rubbery and tasteless. I thought maybe it was just a bad day. Gave them a try again last week. I ordered the beef salad, and a child's plate of grilled chicken, which came with noodles or rice and an egg roll. The beef in the salad was fatty and rubbery. And a very small amount. The child plate cost $12.99! Egg roll was old, chicken had a weird old taste. Noodles were disgusting so I ordered white rice which I was charged an additional $3.00. This was a horrible expensive lesson. I also had bubble guts later on at home. Like I said, the chicken tasted weird. I won't be coming back and I no longer recommend.

Let me know if you have heard this story before, its a cold afternoon in Northridge, CA. With a air of chill and the possibility of rain in the air, your stomach lets out a faint grumble. Your hungry! What do you do? Well, that was my story after leaving church and my friends and I were looking for something warm to really warm us up. Thanks to yelp, we found Saigon Brothers. Located close to Cal State Northridge, it is perfect position for college students to warm up. But, does it live up to the hype? The interior is minimalistic with a single TV showing any local sports or news. So it gives off that family diner vibe. Yet, it was a bit empty. To me, that set off some alarm bells. Service was immediate as there were at least 6-7 people consistently making everyone feel at home. Now to test the water, I ordered my normal Beef Rib Pho. As pictured it came with 3 chunks of meat. Sampling the beef pho, warm beef broth with a touch of salty aftertaste, which in my opinion was wonderful. But the star of the show, the beef ribs. The meat was tender and the it did not fail the bone test! That to me was the highlight and delight to my meal. There was indeed a bit of disappointment that I couldn't do it again for a video. But, the meat portion was generous, tender, and flavorful. For $20 you are definitely getting your money's worth just from the broth and meat alone. I added a bit of chili oil to mine for a slight kick. Now, the real reason I am giving 5 starts is service. For a crew of 7 people who were dining, its always a problem when we pay. I don't mind using payment services to get it done, but our hosts were able to split the bill and allowed us to pay separately. which to some of us, was a life saver. Overall, not a bad place to keep in your back pocket if you want some pho. As I am not regularly in the area, I would visit again if someone mentioned it!

I am grateful though to have an option in the area to order bahn mi. I got the Deli Special Bahn Mi, which has 3 types of meat in it, like Vietnamese ham and char Siu pork. I liked the crunch of the pickled carrots and daikon. I also requested for no jalapeno and cucumber. The bread tasted crisp and chewy, and overall it was something that filled me up for what I needed. My friend got a vermicelli bowl and felt like the overall dish was also okay, and that the fish sauce could have been more flavorful since that's usually a highlight for her. There was a bit of a long wait for it, like almost 20 minutes. We definitely chose to eat it to-go since the interior is also small and there's about 3 tables or less. They do offer an extensive menu though and I was pretty tempted to buy a drink and try it out from here. Parking lot is entered through Reseda and there's a whole area of the lot that's been fenced off for the longest. Might be hard to enter or exit if it's a busy time because of traffic. No bathrooms! Water cups available on the side if you need to fill up some water.

This "joint" we were introduced to by a Vietnamese colleague seemed so unique and magical! It was nothing fancy, the tables were perpetually sticky.. but every morsel we tasted was served with such pride, and it was delicious. That was then. This is now. The interior has since been renovated, the furniture updated and gone are the tables wrapped in shipping tape and cardboard to keep them steady. It looks nice! The small side area of the building where the aunties used to clean and prep the fresh veggies, basil, mint, cilantro.. is now a full up boba bar with a sweet smiling lady behind the counter. There were no less than 6 employees wandering in the dining area and not one addressed us when we walked in until we called out to them. I'm no royalty demanding to be served like a princess, but can you say HI and offer a table? They have at least a dozen tables in the dining room, and only 2 had patrons so they weren't busy. It was around 6:30pm so the dinner rush had passed. We needed to wait about 10-15 minutes for friends to arrive so we asked for menus, water and I ordered a salted Plum Soda which you can't really find at too many places outside of Orange County. It was refreshing on a hot day! I was shocked to see how abbreviated the menu had become. Out of the Pho So 1 locations we have been to, we always felt this one had more dishes to choose from including desserts. This menu looked shorter than the one in Granada Hills (on Devonshire) and when I asked one of the young ladies about the dishes I can come for, she shriveled her nose and said "we don't have that". In particular I wanted Bun Cha Ha Noi.. and was suggested to get Bun Thit Nuong as a substitute. Ok, they both have pork and both have a form of rice noodle, but that's where the similarities end. When our friends arrived, they sat down and immediately they wanted to take our orders. Friends asked for drinks and some time to peruse the menu. After a few more visits to take the meal order we finally made our decisions. The food came out quickly. This is always on point at the Pho So 1 locations. No complaints! But our friends had to ask again for their drink orders and got a little side eye. They asked nicely and were nothing but polite. This just didn't feel right. The experience was so lackluster I didn't even take any pics and if you've seen my other reviews, that's not me at all. Am I spoiled because I've been exposed "the good stuff" in our adventures to San Gabriel Valley? Maybe. But I'd still go back to the Pho So 1 spots in Gardena (the guy who manages there is amazing and should give lessons!) and Granada Hills (Devonshire, not the newer one on Chatsworth which was also disappointing). Leaving this here so my fond old memories don't bring me back to this spot in Reseda. 30+ years later, there are a lot of other choices to satisfy the need for Vietnamese food.

She's been coming here since before they upgraded the space, and from what I understand it's run by brothers. The family is really nice, and it definitely has that local neighborhood spot feel. The main reason she brought me was for their **bún riêu**, but I have to be honest -- it didn't really taste like bún riêu to me. It was still good, but the broth had more of a tomato-y, clearer base and felt like its own soup rather than a true bún riêu. I was also surprised they didn't have **shrimp paste** available for it, which felt kind of odd. They do have **bánh bèo** and some other Vietnamese dishes, which I thought was cool, and overall everything we tried was okay. I've had a different soup from here before, and I've also gotten it delivered, and I'd say the experience is pretty much the same across the board -- decent, solid, nothing bad, but nothing that really stands out for me either. That said, I'd still come back because my girlfriend enjoys it, the family is sweet, and there aren't a ton of Vietnamese spots I've tried out in the Valley yet.
