After a long day at Hurricane Harbor, my family and I decided on pho. Pho sure here had the best ratings so we drove 5 miles north. The pho is really good! I ordered the P1 special and this place packs the meat. A very generous restaurant. However, I was a bit disappointed in the service I received during our time here. I had to constantly ask for scissors (to cut pho noodles for my toddler nieces) and drinks at least 4 times. All of which had the same response of "it's on its way." Only the drinks came out, after another 2 times of asking. Their avocado smoothie is comparable and a clean restaurant is a plus. We asked for a to-go bag and was given a sticky plastic bag glazed with fish sauce. I mean, cmon dude! Probably won't come back. 3 stars for food quality. read more

Pho sure is amazing! The soup is consistently delicious. The shrimp paste rolls are so fresh. The fried rice with Vietnamese sausage is one of my favorites. The bahn mi's are yummy and the bread is always fresh. They also have Thai Green Iced tea, which I can't find anywhere else in Santa Clarita. Portions are large, I wish they had smaller sizes of pho because I can never finish my soup. Sometimes we order 1 soup and 1 appetizer and share both, which is perfect. There's plenty of parking and we have never waited more than 10 minutes to sit pre-covid. Now, they package your noodles separate from the soup when getting food to go, they give you all the condiments but I always ask for extra, and they have a menu to scan with your phone so you don't have to touch it while ordering. As this is the closest pho place that serves decent pho, you can't go wrong. It's a bit pricier than what you would find in the valley but to save the aggravation of driving and gas money, this is the best pho place in Santa Clarita. I normally get their Pho Dac Biet which is good. 99.9% of the time I've gotten the pho, the broth is on point. What I also like about this place other than the location is that they sell the banh mi sandwiches here. I've only tried the banh mi sandwich once and it was at one of those food trucks so I'm no expert in these sandwiches but from what I've tasted, this place makes great banh mi. I also got my son into the banh mi. The place is super clean and more up to date w/ the decor and the seats are more comfortable to sit in. What's good: The broth. We ordered a brisket pho and chicken pho and both have excellent broth. What's bad: Stingy on the fixings (basil, sprouts, jalapeno). It was the amount that we normally get from other pho restaurants for one order and here I had to split it between me and my husband. They charge $1 for extra fixings. Other places will give it for free. I ordered egg rolls and they served me spring rolls. They took them back but by the time my egg rolls were served, I wasn't hungry for them anymore. I had finished my pho and I was full. I still managed to eat one and the rest we took with us. Had the pork chop with rice. Rice was crunchy. The pork had no flavor, just tasted like grilled meat. Pot stickers also totally bland. I had Pho 22 a few days earlier so this was starkly bad in contrast. Also no waiters checked on me for refills or sauces although they did give me boxes to go. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, quality and portions of Pho Sure. I would have given them 4 stars but there is still plenty of room for improvement. 1. Cleanliness. There were chopsticks, napkins, straws and food scraps under our table. When cleaning the tables, the staff should also clean up underneath the table. 2. Staff training. Drink orders were messed up, and appropriate utensils did not come with the dishes. I think it's best if the waiters concentrated on certain assigned tables and responsibilities instead of trying to be everywhere and do different tasks (taking orders, cleaning, seating etc.) . The staff was a little chaotic. 3. Paying the check was very slow. The front desk was completely overwhelmed with takeout orders, and probably needed help. 4. Larger pieces of lettuce to go with the egg rolls (so you can wrap it properly). Otherwise, it was a good experience and the staff and management were very enthusiastic and friendly. I'm looking forward to visiting Pho Sure once they've settled in after opening month. I also think they could probably extend their dining hours to 10:30 pm given the volume of people. 7/6/11 Update: Came back here again, and there are some improvements. There is now an assistant at the front desk helping the manager with takeout orders and taking payment. But the floor staff is still doing multiple duties, taking orders, cleaning across all tables. So when you want your waiter, he's in another corner, cleaning up and helping another waiter. They should probably just have rotating busboys, but they do need to have dedicated wait areas. They never seem to know which food goes to what table, and the lady manager was holding an iced drink and didn't know which table it should go. They also forgot my drink, and the forks/knives/chopsticks condiment. Why can't they just put a fresh wicker basket of utensils on the table after a table is cleared, then nobody has to ask for it. Unfortunately, it's just way too chaotic to bring in more than 2 people to this place. Too much tension when the orders are messed up, and the group becomes unhappy and starts complaining. Fantastic! I'm a newcomer to a Vietnamese cuisine, but I've already been spoiled by my neighbor's awesome dishes. Pho Sure is great! I tried the soup (of course) with beef filet, my daughters had the round steak. Both were reminiscent of my neighbor's simmer all day and night broth with the fabulous mingling of the other ingredients. We also had the egg rolls. I'm not a fan, typically, of the greasy rolls most restaurants pass off as food. However, these were crispy and filled with yummy goodness like shrimp, not just soggy cabbage I so commonly find. New cravings have begun here! The staff was incredibly quick, food served nearly immediately, the owner was funny with a quip and never too far away. Should I ever get back to this section of Cali. I always had to drive down to SFV to enjoy good pho, but since Pho Sure came in a while back, I didn't have to. They were conveniently located right in front of my community. Pho Sure soon became my favorite to go place for pho. Pho Sure is not like your ordinary pho place. This place is more upscale with comfortable seating and very clean, especially the bathrooms. Service is always great but can be a bit slow sometimes when its busy but that is normal and is expected everywhere. Also, the owners there are very friendly and they get out of there way to help a customer out which you never see at other pho places. Their food is awesome. From filet mignon plates to baguettes, are all very tasty. Most importantly, their pho is awesome! The soup is always consistent with its flavor. Its never too sweet or salty. Portions are great, including the meat. There is a perfect balance in its portions and flavors. So I frequent this place about 2-3 times a week. I LOVE THE PHO!!! I have had PHO in many places, even Alhambra and SGV, the broth here is the best. The people know me and I still have to wait to get my drink and my refills. The service is definitely less then par. And has anyone noticed the owner and her attitude??? The food here is to die for! I am a huge fan of the pork sandwich. I've had it twice and it is unbelievable. Go pork! The pho is outstanding as well. Best I've had in a long time. The portions are huge and the price is small. You can easily get two meals out of most things on the menu! I was a little skeptical of the slushie format for the boba but I got over it and I drink the green tea boba now. Pretty tasty. Especially with the crazy hot days we have been having. This place is still working out kinks with their service but I'm so elated to have such a good vietnamese place close by that I'm willing to give them plenty of time to figure it out. I think it would be better if they had assigned servers to each table rather than a everyone serves everyone method. Yelpers, give these guys a chance. If we want decent family owned restaurants in SCV then we need to support these guys and not be quite so harsh right when they open! Also, the last 3 bowls I've had here, I always find a man's hair in my soup...it's either an eyebrow or arm hair.. maybe have the male chefs wear long sleeves or something? Pho Sure - Chicken Pho - P19 on the menu - Vietnamese Near Me - Valencia, California

If you're craving some Vietnamese food and you're in the Santa Clarita Valley, Pho Sure is probably the place you want to go. This restaurant is super clean and is pretty good. It's not as good as something you would find in the San Gabriel Valley or Westminster, so it'll tide you over until you can make a trip out there. The food portions are normally what you would receive if you ordered a large at another Vietnamese restaurant. Each dish is made to order, so if someone orders something besides Pho, you are going to be waiting. Anyways back to the food. The Pho is good. The noodles are cooked to order, so you don't have anything super soggy and you are given a generous portion of beef. The vermicelli is also very generous. It comes in an even larger bowl than the Pho. I typically order the Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuon Tom Nuong because you get a little bit of everything (egg rolls, shrimp, and beef or pork). I've never ordered a Banh Mi there, but it seems to be the last item to arrive to the table. I've never had the boba or any of the drinks just because I never see anyone order them. I never want to be stuck with subpar boba. Lunch time can be pretty busy, so either get there before 12 or you're going to have to wait. Dinner time has never seemed too busy. Also, they don't like to bring you your check. I see how they want to be typical Vietnamese restaurant and have you go to the front counter for your check, but this is Santa Clarita. If they want to enforce that, they should have the wait staff inform the table that is how it's done. read more

I love Vietnamese food and was married to a Vietnamese woman whose mom would cook the best pho and the best egg rolls. And this place is legit. The pho is on point and the broth delicious. The egg rolls were the real deal. Most of the time, egg rolls are full of cheap stuff but those have a lot of pork and crab meat and the flavors are there. I'm so happy I found this place. First time eating Pho and I was very excited to try this place after looking it up on yelp. Upon arrival the restaurant was busy and full but we were seated right away the table was close to the door and it was cold that night the wife and kids wanted to move I asked the staff if it was possible as another table was clearing to move and they cleaned the table and moved us no worries. The food was excellent and I was very pleased but what really impressed me was the staff. All very young people but so professional, courteous and flat out just on top of everything they all worked as a team to ensure everyone's satisfaction you don't see work ethic in our youth like this anymore great job to all the staff and their training crew I will definitely be back Pho Sure! read more

I randomly ended up here after a day at neighboring Six Flags because previous Yelp reviews were so positive, and thankfully the Yelp community was spot on with this place. Considering myself something of a pho connoisseur, I can confidently state that this is one of the best pho restaurants outside of Westminister. The portions are large, the broth is flavorful, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant has a modern, chic aesthetic that you don't normally associate with a typical pho restaurant. In that same vein the waiters are courteous, and thankfully don't give off the "customers are hindrances to be quickly dealt with" vibe that plagues many a Vietnamese restaurant. I also commend the customer service. A mixup in the kitchen led to my meal coming out about ten minutes after everyone else in my party had already received their food; the waiter profusely apologized and at the end of the meal took 10% off of my group's check for the inconvenience. I wish Six Flags employees would take lessons on customer service and civility from the management at Pho Sure, but that's a story for another review... Huge disappointment!! And I've had my share of Pho!! Based on reviews we went out of our way to try their Pho. I love Vietnamese food and was geared up for yummy noodle soup!! Bland, Bland, Bland! But we were in Ticky Tacky Ville!!! Hubby ordered house special Pho and I ordered the Pho Ga, but knowing this lacks flavor,(chicken broth), I ordered it with the beef broth!! 1) Both dish's were very bland! 2) Where is that Pho party in my mouth??? 3) No fish sauce on table.... Who would have ever thought that there would be good pho in Santa Clarita?! There aren't even any Asians here! But this place is the BEST! The soup broth is really flavorful and tasty - sometimes I don't even put the brown or siracha sauce in because the soup is THAT good! They give you LOTS of noodles and meat (brisket, flank, rare beef, etc.). Hate the places that skimp and then you're left unsatisfied and still hungry. Most of the time, I can't even finish my bowl of pho! I love that all the ingredients seem fresh and good quality - and clean. I also LOVE their rice and vermicelli (bun) dishes. Their charbroiled pork is delicious!! I also love their egg rolls and charbroiled pork spring rolls. Immediate Clarification...The Food IS 4 stars! So glad that we will no longer have to go either to the 405 or the 10 fwy to get a good bowl of pho. The "3 stars" is because, the service was slow. The wait staff seems "unhappy" or "uncertain." And there were pesky flies bugging us while we eat. Those for these ignorance, I had to take away a star. I think the establishment and be Great by just making some minor adjustments. Go give them a try and you will eat well. Their portion is wonderfully big. A friend and I went to Pho Sure for lunch today for the first time. We had read their write-up in the Santa Clarita Magazine and decided to give them a try. We showed up at noon and the place was pretty packed. We were greeted promptly and seated at a smaller table. The place looked clean and there were no flies anywhere inside the restaurant. I ordered the Seafood Pho which came with an abundance of seafood (shrimp, mussels, squid and fish balls). The broth was hot and very tasty and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The shellfish were all tender and fresh-tasting. My friend had the Beef (Ribeye steak with tendon) Pho and said it was delicious too. Then we also shared a Vermicelli with Grilled Shrimp. The shrimp was plentiful and had a nicely grilled flavor. The vermicelli was just a lump of cold noodles which needed the sirancha and hoisin sauce to give it flavor. All the portions were large, enough for 2 people to share but since we are big eaters, we each order a Pho and shared the Vermincelli. We were stuffed by the time we were done. Their prices are fairly reasonable. I also ordered a side of Beef Tendon which was only $1.50. The tendon was served in a small bowl with broth and cilantro, it was tender and delicious. Our server was great, he checked to see if we needed anything and later, when he set the bill down, he told us to take our time. We appreciated the good service, especially since they were busy but we did not feel rushed. We will definitely be back to Pho Sure, their menu is huge and we want to try all the other delicious sounding items on the menu. read more
