Had a late lunch at this spot. They can veganize many things which is great. Would definitely recommend the soft tofu with garlic sauce and fried vermicelli. I wish they add some vegan soup options too. The service was super quick, warm and friendly. The ambience is cozy..Many folks kept coming for a late lunch and that's how I know it's popular. My favorite was the coconut ice cream. Would highly recommend

I'm always looking for a good Thai spot and I think I've found another one in the area! So good that we've eaten here twice in a month already, lol. Great service - quick and attentive. I love that they have a mixture of Thai and Laotian dishes. 5 star spicy was a bit mild to me so I would recommend going higher if you can handle the heat. They also have space to cater large parties and a bar with limited beer and liquor. I can't wait to bring family and friends here and try the rest of the menu.

Our server was so friendly. She told us she usually works the night shift, and was covering for her friend during lunch time. Food is still delicious. I highly recommend the lunch specials. We tried Green Chicken Curry (4.5 out of 5) with Eggplant, which came with a fried egg. 5/5 spicy is enjoyable for me. Kao Mok Neur (Southern Style curry rice with beef) was a dish I've not had elsewhere. The beef was tender, but otherwise a bit bland. Phad Kee Mao was decent.

I used to love this place but food quality has really gone down. I've tried ordering from this place twice and the food just doesn't taste as good as it used too. Really sad because I loved ordering from this place.

I have ate here before several times and I keep forgetting to review them. Food is always consistent! Last time we dined in, food was amazing, service was great, and everything came out in a timely manner. This time I did a phone order as I was a little pressed for time. Ordered a pad Thai chicken level 2, crab Rangoons, and a Thai tea. All items super delicious!

Resturant is big and inviting, nice large parking lot as well. Service is friendly and they try to be helpful. We ordered the fried chicken plate (comes with rice) and two dipping sauces and we ordered the pork salad. We were assured that the dishes were spicy- neither were. The fried chicken plate wasn't bad but I found it lacking. The chicken had a perfect fry and it wasn't greasy. The pork salad was ok- the pork tasted old and after one bite I didn't have anymore. The sauce was good on it- not too intense with fish sauce. We ordered the fried banana wrapped in coconut and opted for a side of coconut ice cream. The fried banana was a little too fried but it was full of coconut and the ice cream was made fresh.

Ordered their Phad thai for delivery and it was very good, huge portion. Wish it had more chicken and more of a kick to it! It was a great meal for lunch nonetheless, definitely want to dine in in the future

Yelped this place and got lucky this restaurant is so delicious! Especially the price range for the dishes is awesome. I highly recommend anyone to try this Thai place if you're around the area. I highly recommend trying their nam kao, phad kee mao, and the Thai iced tea. The Thai iced tea is made perfectly its not too sweet or too strong. The servers were very friendly. I would def will be coming back!

We love coming here and we love the ribs and drinks. But last time we came and got the salmon curry and the salmon taste really bad. I didn't even eat it. And when I ask for the bill, the waiter ask if I need any box and I say no. He can see that I haven't even touch the salmon... It would have been nice if he just ask is the food ok? Anyways we will come back for the ribs because itsssss amazing

Theary Cambodian Foods is a tiny restaurant with only seating for only 12 or 13. They have probably…read moreone of the most chaotic and confusing menus I've ever seen, but they serve some really excellent food. Walking in for a Saturday lunch into this establishment, the entire restaurant smelled like sizzling meat and aromatic herbs. This was a little past noon and most of the staff were in the back taking their lunch break. There was only a single guy in front managing everything. We placed our order at the counter and were given an estimate of 20 minutes for the food. It took exactly 20 minutes, and he even gave us a 2 minute warning when it was almost ready. #4 Combo ($28.99) - This is a huge portion, easily enough for two people. In fact, this was the only thing we ordered (they had run out of the other item we wanted) and we finished only around 75% of the meal. The plate includes an entire mound of rice under all the meat. The photos of this dish are deceptive - the meat on top hides what's underneath. It's actually an appropriate amount given all the protein, a far cry from other places that only give a small bowl of rice. The rice is fried until dry and leathery, sticking together into larger chewy structures. It's actually an excellent texture for this dish. And the flavor is phenomenal, giving the fragrance of herbs, ginger, garlic, and other spices. In terms of meat, the dish includes two Kroeung meatball that taste of lemongrass and aromatic herbs. There's crunchy garlic stuck to the outside and everything is pan fried until a crust develops from the great sear and char. The inside is so meaty, with lots of whole pieces of meat rather than ground. It gives a burst of fragrant umami. There's a chicken wing, stuffed with vermicelli and shredded chicken meat. Again, it has a very fragrant and lemongrassy flavor. The chicken skin pulled along the stuffing gives an extra oomph of texture. Finally, there's an entire chicken leg/thigh quarter. It's so good, one of the best chicken quarters I've ever eaten. I especially love the scoring on the skin of the thigh that allows the pan sear to really develop an extra crusty layer from the additional surface area. The chicken meat interior is so tender and juicy and gives such an amazing coconut enhanced flavor, full of umami. The chicken fat and skin gives that crispy fattiness that enhances the chicken to the max. Now that's how to cook chicken! On the side are some spicy and crunchy daikon pickles mixed with some mint. Also, a fragrant and really spicy minced pepper mixture that gives an instant fresh burn. It's not smoky at all. (5/5) Everything Theary Cambodian Foods serves is a flavor bomb right to the gullet. Delicious, delicious, delicious food. Too bad it's so far away from me, otherwise I'd be a regular.

We ordered the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, Spicy Negi Ramen (level 4 hot), an order of Gyoza, and an appetizer order of Karaage Chicken. Both of our Ramen bowls were absolutely delicious!! I'm used to eating very authentic Ramen when I lived in San Diego so this was a first for being in this area. It was a great portion size, beautiful presentation and everything tasted so good. I think the egg could've been cooked a little bit less so it would be not so well done so to speak, but it was delicious still. Also, the chicken appetizer was a good, but not as flavorful as some Karaage Chicken I have had. I probably wouldn't order that one again even though it was good, just lacked flavor and was a bit grisly. The service was outstanding. They are very kind and very attentive. The place is very clean. The bathrooms are nicely stocked and very clean as well. The lobby is beautiful and we will definitely be back!

The ramen tasted great but not impressive or memorable enough for me to drive all the way back to Federal Way. I dined in solo and actually didn't finish the ramen or even remember exactly what I ordered. I'm guessing it's the spicy negi. The broth was spicy and enjoyable but definitely didn't taste any different compared to other ramen places I've been to. I tend to eat slow to savor my food, but I felt like the staff was overattentive and frequently stopped by my table to ask if everything was okay. Gave me the vibe that they needed to keep themselves busy or I was taking up a table. Might be great for other customers but it affected my experience with dining in; I usually finish my meals at restaurants but I felt rushed so I just ended up bringing the ramen home for my son, after the second or third time of them asking me if I wanted a takeout box. I'm still giving 4 stars just because the ramen tasted better than mediocre, less than spectacular. I just have high expectations for ramen and prefer more broth/topping variety (I was raised in Cali with options i dearly miss). Plus, I do like that they added a full egg for the ramen (instead of half an egg, like other restaurants I've been to) and the chasu portions were fair. I haven't tried any other ramen places in Federal Way (if there are any), but I guess if this is one of the better options (according to Yelp), it might be worth a shot to try out?
