It was the service that really threw us off. We don't expect much service at pho places, but this was odd enough that it's worth mentioning. There were two young staff members working who clearly seemed like they didn't want to be there and almost didn't want people coming in. The guy brought us utensils and pho garnishes but no water. At least he had a smile. The girl, on the other hand, had this very guarded, "ready to fight" expression. When I went up to ask for a box, they both froze and looked at me like I was asking for the world. She didn't smile and barely made eye contact. When it was time to pay, we weren't sure what to do so we just went up to the front. She didn't look at us once, and there was no "thank you" or "have a good day."
