I love their Pho! A deep, rich broth that carries the spices, noodles and meat to a memory of a street cart in Viet Nam. Deliciousness in Monroe. If you're a fan of Pho, I'd definitely put this on your "next dinner out" list. The only change I'd make is that I wish they had Royal Tea bubble tea. read more

I normally go to Pho Than Brothers in Lynnwood, but I was in the neighborhood and decided to try this place. I ordered a large combination and I knew right away when the Pho arrived it was not going to be good. The broth was very light in color which lead me to believe that it was not properly simmered with beef bones. The main flavor that came through was the star anise. For a large portion, there were hardly any meat and not enough noodles. At Pho Than Brothers, when I order a large there is lots of meat and noodles that I leave very full. Here, I felt like I could have eaten more! The guy that worked there was not very friendly. You can tell he did not want to be there. No smiles, no thank you, just abrupt. I will not return. Go to Pho Than Brothers if you want very good Pho. The one in Edmonds do have spring rolls on their menu now. read more

So good! Second time trying the Pho from here and it's my favorite in town. I normally don't ever like the meats (except chicken) but I tried it with brisket and it was so tender and not fatty at all. We have given this place 4 chances. Every time we get pho from here they leave something out. First time, the server seemed super stoned, he got out order wrong and then served it to customers who came in 20 minutes after us. And we were the only 2 tables there. Then on try 2, they gave us spring rolls instead of egg rolls, try 3 I ordered tofu pho and got chicken and last night, our very last chance, we got home and all that was in our bag was soup and noodles, no sprouts, no basil, no hoisin, nothing. I don't understand how they expect to stay in business when they cannot seem to get an order right. We would seriously eat they several nights a week if they had it together. Very nice service, beef broth was very strong type clove flavor, had to spice it up a lot to disguise it. Way too bright inside, the green color is too much, at dinner I would like a more relaxed atmosphere. read more

So I went here about a month ago and got take-out pho. When I got home and put everything together the noodles were half raw. Very hard to chew. So I tried them again today just to see. I told them what happened last time and they were apologetic. I ordered take-out again. I ordered #10. 3 different meats. When I went to put it together, this time they forgot 2 of the meats! Used to be real good but lately they been slipping. My veggies were dry and wilty, the meat seemed under-cooked and to top it off the young man at the service counter was unfriendly and didnt make a customer feel very welcome. Had a great vegetarian pho here. They added some cabbage, onions, carrots, and broccoli to replace the meat. Yummy veggie broth.

Although the customer service was very friendly and welcoming, the food seems to be below average. I went with my boyfriend and was pretty disappointed in the taste of the broth the small amount of meat in the soup. There seem to be about one and a half to two times the normal amount of noodles than the average bowl, and about 1/4 of the meat. For the price that we paid for the soup, I would have expected a greater amount of meat, I think there were about 5 to 6 pieces of meat. The "salad roll" is what are normally called spring rolls and although flavorful, they lacked the density of a good spring roll and didn't contain the sliced pork that I usually expect. The friendliness of the lady that works there is the only reason I left a tip. The food, not so much. I live in Southern California where the soup is amazing, but if I lived here I probably wouldn't come back again. read more

My family and I love this pho restaurant. It has a very basic menu but that's all it needs to have. You can tell that everything is made with fresh ingredients. On top of having really good Pho the people that work here are always very friendly and patient and helpful. I usually visit with my three year old and my one year old and while they love to eat pho they are not the cleanest eaters and I have never once felt like we were not welcome because of that. read more

On my way back from Bridal Veil Falls I came back here to split a number one order. My friends and I split a large bowl and it was delicious. The portions are a great size and the place is affordable. I love the spring rolls here. The spring rolls are made with Bay shrimp and the peanut sauce is spot on. I remember the last time I came here I licked the peanut sauce until it was gone. The owners and employees are very nice. I definitely see myself coming back here again. read more

Tried to get Pho Tai takeout right before closing time and kudos to the friendliness of the order taker that didn't flinch at the time. Definitely wasn't really a "Tai" (thin sliced beef that cooks in the broth) as the beef tasted pre cooked but all in all a decent pho. The lady was super nice and attentive. Wonderful price for their pho portions. I am a bit sad that not that many people in Monroe know what pho is or they do know and go else where. This limits the amount of wonderful Vietnamese cuisine that Pho Thanh Na can have which is disappointing but their broth is definitely done right which made me happy. Make sure to eat your pho with a side dish in order to get the full aroma of their beef broth. The side dish will be for your sauces to dip your beef choices into. We are vegetarian and this is some of the best vegetarian pho we've had. Generally veg broths are bland and tasteless. This was delicious. We ordered extra noodles and it was totally worth it. A large gives you leftovers for lunch the next day. We also had the salad rolls with peanut sauce which were tasty. While service was a bit slow, it was busy and there was only one server who was efficient. Ambiance isn't amazing but, for the price and location, what do you expect. We will be back. read more

Excellent pho! My husband got the beef and I got the veggie and we both thought it was some of the best we've had in WA. My only complaint is the tv- I never understand why restaurants have tvs on, other than sports bars. It's annoying and a hardly family friendly sitcom was playing. read more

The food actually9 isn't the issue, it is the gentleman who works at the front desk, Sirus (however, I get the impression he lied about his name) . We just picked up an order to go and they forgot to add the tofu in the tofu pho. When I called to figure out a solution, he told me next time I could just get extra pho, without a real way for the chef to track who I am. When I suggested that his tone with me seemed frustrated, his response to me was that he had customers and had been on the phone with me for 3 min. HA! Seriously? You might consider starting with an apology. It isn't MY fault that YOUR restaurant messed up the order. So, if you dine there, just make sure to double check everything and make sure they treat you well. Not surprised though, not the first review that says customer service is poor. read more

I came here yesterday for lunch and was quite surprised to figure out that Monroe could actually have a decent pho place. I always drove out to Woodinville whenever I had the crave, but will now have to come here more often because it is just so much closer. The place overall could use better décor, as the pea green wallpaper hurt my eyes staring at because I thought it was a bit of an odd color choice, but it definitely is not a turnoff from coming again. Although the food wasn't absolutely amazing, it was definitely not bad either and succeeded in giving me that comforting pho feel which is the feeling I expect to have while eating pho. I had a large pho and I also added extra meat for $1.75 more. It took at least half an hour for my bowl of pho to come out. When I did get my bowl of pho I was disappointed. The broth was okay, however they were really stingy on the meat. I ordered my bowl with extra meat and there was a total of maybe (7) small pieces of beef. Super bummed with the service, there's a younger boy that works there and he is so put out to take your order or do anything really. EVERY time we have ordered from him he is rude!
