Good service, great ambience, good music and I love the smell that's coming from the kitchen. The atmosphere is very inviting and I feel this restaurant is worth coming to check it out yourself..

The pho here was very good. A lot of meat! I love how clean this restaurant is. The decor is also beautiful and refreshing. Lots of sunlight makes it better in my opinion. The service was friendly and quick. I would like to come back again. I would like to try other items on the menu next time.

Service was very friendly. It was very clean. We went here with my parents as well. They also enjoyed it. Yes the the temp was in the 100s and they were still eating pho They have metal cups which kept your water cold, which was extra refreshing I wasn't sure what to get here, as it was my first time. I tried the B7, grilled shrimp and grilled beef with eggrolls. Omg. It was EXACTLY what I wanted it to taste like. It was fresh, flavors were bright, nothing overwhelming, the nouc mam was well balanced. I literally want another one as I'm typing this. My mini mini got the kids menu of grilled pork over rice and came with a free soda. She said hers was very good. It smelled really great. My biggest got a big bowl of beef pho (P8). She loved it, ate the whole thing up. My mom got the beef and tendon pho (P7) but she was jelly of mine and said she should get that next time. My dad got the fried rice. He loved it, ate it all so fast. I bought a T11 (combination special fried rice) to go and it was so flavorful. The rice had a great texture, none of the meats were over cooked. It reminded me of the fried rice my mom used to make. So, the prices are a little higher than some other places I've been to, it was around $100 without tip, but it was for 6 entrees, so I think it was reasonable and I really enjoyed it. Don't skip this place, especially with this heat, a delicious bun helps take the edge off the heat. Yasssss.

Very clean and very friendly staff. The pho was flavorful and they give you a good amount of meat. Spring rolls and fried egg rolls were great. Chicken satay was yummy too.

Yay! Finally a spot in the west valley with tasty pho! I've had a lot of pho in my life and this place has some of the best tasting. Spring rolls were okay. Too small and sticky but the meats are very flavorful and marinated well. Beef soup was actually pipping hot and had a good amount of meat and like I said the broth was very good! It was very clean and not greasy at all. I spoke to the lady that served us and she said they have a very popular restaurant in California. But lots of people have complimented her on their soup. We will definitely be back to try more stuff. But I'm happy to find a spot for pho on this side of town.

My fiance brought us here for the coffee but we ended up eating as well. This restaurant offers pho, vermicelli, and rice noodles in their soups. They have plenty of rice plate options as well. We both ordered their P1 noodle soup which is the Pho Dac Biet. It consists of roundeye steak, flank steak, fatty brisket, tendons, tripe, and meatballs! Although it was decent, I would have liked their broth to be a little more rich in flavor though. Their coffee was a hit for me. Very cute decor! Great service!

As a proud Yelp Elite, I decided to give this place a chance because the reviews were the best I saw in the city! The place was busy on a Sunday night and it is small but I never say customers waiting too long. There were two larger parties seated so the food took some time but nothing outrageous. We started with the calamari, spring rolls, and crab wontons. The calamari were the biggest I've ever seen and very delicious! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the spring rolls or crab wontons. I feel like those are hard to get wrong but I was not a fan of the cream cheese that was used and it was a lot of it, barely any imitation crab. For entrees, I had the spicy basil and substituted ground chicken for chicken breast, my personal preference. I ordered level 2 spice but it was still a bit spicy for me. Trying a new Thai place is always hit or miss with spice levels so I actually thought I was being safe with 2. Additionally, the chicken was so bland. Some Thai places season their chicken, some do not and unfortunately Pad Thai Cafe missed that mark. My partner ordered the short rib curry dish and my goodness, it smelled like heaven and tasted just as good. I don't eat beef but had to taste it and it was divine! He also ordered spice level 2 and his dish was not as spicy as mine. Overall, the rest of the party enjoyed their food and there were good flavors there so I'd definitely recommend the entrees, not so much the starters.

Thai Chicken is moist with nice slight char to give you that depth of flavors. Can easily share this. Egg rolls were crispy on the outside and moist inside, served with a great orangish red sauce. I ordered the way I did on purpose. These are my go to Thai dishes. The staples. I wanted to taste everything I consider my personal favorites so I could really gauge the restaurant across the board. The vegetable egg rolls and chicken satay were good. Solid. The potstickers were good. The chicken larb was actually good, maybe a little too much sugar, it tasted slightly sweet, but still one of the stronger dishes. Mango sticky rice was enjoyable. The Thai iced tea, flavor was on point. That's actually my first indicator when I try a Thai restaurant. The only thing that would've made it better is crushed ice. Real Thai spots usually use crushed ice. It melts perfectly and dilutes the sweetness just right. When you use block ice, the tea stays too sweet longer. Crushed ice gives it that smooth balance. Small detail, but that's how I gauge authenticity. Now to the honest part. The pad Thai was mediocre. It was lacking. I've definitely had better and I wouldn't recommend that dish. The spicy fried rice was okay, nothing special. The lad na gravy was way too thick, and instead of using Chinese broccoli, they used regular American broccoli. That's usually my second give when I rate a Thai restaurant. Traditional lad na uses Chinese broccoli. That swap changes the texture and the authenticity of the dish. They also didn't have the typical sauce that usually complements lad na, which I found strange for a Thai restaurant. The Thai fried rice was decent. Overall, I'm giving this place four stars. Here's my why. First, they didn't have common condiments that are pretty standard at most Thai restaurants. That threw me off. Second, the service. They weren't rude at all. Everyone was friendly. But the attentiveness just wasn't there, especially considering we placed a large order and the restaurant wasn't that busy. Third, the flavor and authenticity details. It just didn't hit the way traditional Thai food usually does. I've eaten Thai food all my life, especially in Thai Town in California and throughout Orange County, and the flavor profile here wasn't on that level. If someone asked me if I would return, probably not. But don't let my review stop you. Be your own judge. My goal isn't to hurt the business. It's feedback. Tighten up the service, dial in the flavor, stick closer to traditional ingredients, and it could easily level up to five stars for my taste. And yes, expectations vary. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, so I may be grading on a different curve. One more tip, if you're a party of six or more, double check your receipt. Gratuity was already included in ours and I didn't realize until I got back to where I was staying since I'm out of town. I had to call and have the extra tip removed. Just keeping it real.

Flavor is honestly getting harder to find lately, but this place delivers BIG on flavor and especially on spice. They actually have spice levels from 2 all the way up to 15 (yes, fifteen ). I ordered a level 5 and my mouth was definitely on fire -- in a good way. Next time I might go even hotter because the heat didn't overpower the flavor, it enhanced it. Solid vegan options . My husband tried the Cambodian pho, which was a totally new experience for us since we've only ever had Vietnamese pho., Super comforting, really well balanced. Also huge shoutout to our server -- phenomenal service from start to finish. The restaurant itself is adorable too, with handmade art pieces and even beautiful purses imported from Cambodia for sale. They communicated their levels as #5 medium, #10 hot and #15 very hot .Didn't sound like they did in between numbers and it seemed like a strange numbering system. The chilli crisp oil on the table was spicy so we started with Cambodian sour soup at medium spice (#5 ) It usually has chicken broth and fish sauce I believe but the owner made it vegetarian for us. The soup was good but it felt less spicy than we wanted. The tartness of the soup was really good though and as we ate more of the bottom of it it had a tad more spice. It was also good with the table chilli crisp oil. It came in a hot pot as we love and they refilled the candle for us. Their spoons were awkward for the shape of the hotpot and it was a little hard to scoop out the soup. Next we decided to try a curry. All their curries didn't have chicken stock. The yellow one also didn't have shrimp paste we were told and we decided to go with that one. We ordered it at #10 out of 15 spice level with tofu and it also came with some veggies. #10 was flavorful but we probably would have been fine with the highest #15 spice level here. When I walked around to see the art in the restaurant I saw a big sign on a monitor saying they don't refund plates that are too spicy. The yellow curry did feel different than a typical Thai yellow curry which was fun and was good. We definitely would go with the highest spice level here if we were to be back here and I think we would have liked it more that way. Good spot for vegan and vegetarian options. Based on this one experience i'd give it 3.5 stars. I'd have to try more and at the higher spice levels to decide between 3 stars or 4 stars. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!
