The beef pho is excellent here. Broth is well developed and savory. Prices are also low (under 7$) with service typical of what you'd expect at a smaller pho joint. Have also tried the spring rolls (great flavor and peanut sauce), steamed dumplings (eh...would skip next time, as they're rather watery and lacking flavor), and veggie pho when I'm feeling fat. Ha! Even though the food was delicious, the service here was poor. As soon as we sat down, the problems started. The waitress brought drinks to a family that had arrived after us. When she did finally come to us, she gave us a snobby attitude. She treated us as if we were unwanted guest. It's understandable though, if she was having a bad day. Unfortunately, this was our second time coming here and we had received poor service previously. I was pretty satisfied with the food however. I'm hoping the next time I come here, the service will be better, but as for now, I think I'm going to stay away from this place. While this place might scream "scary" based solely on the fact that it is off Aurora and next to a poker joint, this place is awesome! I've been going to the Pho restaurant for the last few months and it is by far my favorite in Seattle. Why you might ask? The BROTH. It is the best pho broth I have every had, the flavor is just to die for. Plus, they pack in the noodles and meat, extra veggies are awesome and cheap and the small bowl of Pho which costs $4.95 is almost more than I can eat on any given day. Try the Wonton pho, maybe not the most "Vietnamese" of pho, but super tasty and definitely worth the try. Also, I can't remember what the appetizer was called, but their egg roll wrapped inside a spring roll is super tasty. As are the pot stickers. And definitely don't skip over the sauces! read more

We are huge fans of the veggie pho from pho tic tac. We regularly went to their Greenwood spot, but unfortunately it was destroyed. But we were relieved that they have another restaurant! Their veggie pho is by far the best that we have had in Seattle. The broth is delicious and they load it up with tons of veggies. My favorite pho! They've got the best veggie pho in Seattle - they actually put a ton of sauteed veggies and tofu in. But my absolutely favorite thing there is the veggie/tofu bun (cool noodle salad for those who haven't had it). I'm so glad they had this location when the greenwood one sadly burnt down. Ordered food here to go, pho was ok, not bag not any better than the average place. They could not do to-go orders for a kids pho, apparently the bowls are big and the kid size is small and they can not put the small in the large bowl, nor can they take out the onions and cilantro from a large so we had to go else where for my son to get food. The place was not busy yet the wait was over 20 minutes. When ordering we saw a dish on a nearby table and asked what it was because it looked good. They told us it was lemongrass chicken, so we ordered it. Got home to find lemongrass chicken is not at all what we saw. Also it was about equivalent to Safeway Chinese food. Will avoid in the future. Again, not bad pho, just not amazing and definitely not worth the wait. Also staff was unhelpful, unfriendly and just seemed like they didn't want to bother with customers. Of over a dozen pho places I have been to, this rates 2nd to worst, at the worst the chicken tasted like fish and the noodles where hard. read more

Poor service we waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged before seated, 20 before taking our order, and another 20 to get our order. 3 people a few tables behind us of a different ethnicity not saying which got their food first. A few other tables noticed the same thing and said they will never be back. When we mentioned the service all they could say is "it was really busy". Why come to this restaurant? Food is always good, and cheap, like we order every drink, appetizer and food we want and still have change left over. Its not a fancy expensive restaurant but that's why we like it. You go in and find a spot you want and sit down. If you need waiter for anything just wave at them otherwise they won't bother you. Super casual and Kid friendly, we've been bringing our son here since he's 2 years old. I've seen people bring their infant and breastfeed discreetly in the corner and nobody will bother you.
