Delicately Delicious Today I may well be the first patron to arrive. The instrumental music playing is calming and soothing as I sit in a comfortable window booth watching the traffic stop and go just feet away. On this visit I try something different as I have at each of my visits to date(3). Today I order a Luncheon special Vermicelli Noodle with Pork. A light delightful serving of an egg drop soup and a friend wonton are delivered first. Hot and crispy is the wonton, served on a few bits of lettuce and carrot. The soup was hot, in a just right way. It did not burn my tounge as I tasted the creamy concoction but it warmed me. It was not long before my main course arrived. It was delicately seasoned with crunchy bok choy and beant sprouts. With onions that almost wanted to melt in my mouth and noodles sauced to perfection. If you've not yet tried this place it is most certainly worth the visit. When I see there is a parking spot on the street across I stop! You should too as it's a welcome pit stop on the Route 202 corridor in Sanford. There is no dedicated parking but that is the only issue this place has. The Pho here is great! It's a bit oily, but super tasty. I also ordered a bubble tea and I got a soup and a crab Rangoon since it was lunch time. The soup was nice, but the potion was quite small. I forgot to take a picture of the pho, but it came with nice cuts of beef, rice noodles, and on the side I got some fresh greens and bean sprouts. Jalapeño is also an option if you want it. The prices are reasonable, a regular bowl is really all one needs for a hearty meal. I ended up bringing some home, actually. The staff is really helpful and the building is a comfortable size with decent seating. read more

I finally was able to try Pho Saigon today and I was really impressed. Never did I think that good old Sanford would get hip to anything more than mediocre Chinese American food. Several Thai restaurants have attempted to make their place in the area and have unfortunately shut their doors due to lack of interest. It is my sincere hope that the diners in the area (hello Massachusetts tourists) make their way here when they tire of Ted's fried clams. My companions and I tried the tofu velvet soup, vermicelli noodle bowls, stir fried rice, and teriyaki chicken (for the kid). As we waited we saw a swimming pool sized bowl of pho make its way to the next table as we anxiously awaited our own bits of food. Three of us with shrimp, pork and tofu bowls were no less than uber pleased with the quality and flavor of our food. The noodles were plentiful, veggies were fresh and the fish sauce was lovely. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing. Water was refilled, food satisfaction check in was done at the right time and he was overall very genuine and polite. The interior of the restaurant was clean and the acoustics were good. Fast delicious and while not entirely authentic it was still really good. I look forward to coming home again to visit my parents as well definitely swing by here again. read more

Stopped by here on a road trip through northeastern US with my partner. We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! We started off with some free appetizers of soup and fried flat rangoons. We both ordered the vermicelli noodle salad bowls, one with chicken and spring rolls, the other with tofu. The flavors of the bowl and the sauce were delicious and tasted very authentic! They came with various ingredients - vermicelli noodles, bean sprouts, seasoned carrots and radish, fried onion and garlic bits, and other herbs (basil, cilantro, and possibly a garlic and lemongrass mixture). Server was very friendly and attentive to our table. Total was around $23 for the both of us. Will definitely be back if we are in the area, and would definitely recommend to anyone craving Vietnamese food. read more

We ordered the Pho and appetizer sampler and everything was really delicious. We got it as takeout but can't wait to sit there for a meal.

The ladies in my office placed a take-out order today. Every dish was fresh and excellent! The food was tasty, hot and authentic. The staff was friendly and helpful even offering me water while I waited for the food to be bagged up. We will definitely be ordering again...and again. The only reason it is four stars is because the noodles for the pho were a solid mass by the time I got them to the office. It took some time for them to separate but it was still fantastic tasting. Update: Changing to five stars. I ordered the Pho for take out again and they have fixed the noodle issue. This restaurant remains one of my favorites in the area. They never disappoint. read more

The one time I went here I had gotten Pho. When I got home I opened everything and put it all together, and I couldn't believe his much food was there. This Pho bowl was only about 20 dollars, which is great compared to his much you get. The only thing I was mad about was that I couldn't eat all of it and I don't eat leftovers so I had to throw it away. Obviously other people would have ate it has leftovers. I had been craving Pho for the longest time and this definitely satisfied me. Will definitely go back again. read more

Clean peaceful atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. Had the large rare beef Pho. Excellent! Comes with a nice dumpling and small cup of soup appetizer as well as basil peppers and lime on the side with soy, fish and sriraccha sauce on the table to adjust seasonings to your taste. Delicious pho! Visited yesterday for the first time for lunch and we left warm, happy, and very full! The young woman who waited on us was so pleasant, and it was a wonderful surprise when she brought us cups of chicken velvet soup and a couple of fried dumplings on the house, "to help keep you warm while you wait for your pho". The rare beef pho was delicious, with all the add-ins provided (lime, sprouts, Thai basil, hoisin sauce, sriracha, etc), and the Regular serving size is enormous - ended up bringing about half of it home! Great experience and will definitely go back. The only drawback, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was the unfortunate lack of parking (made worse in Winter, when on-street parking is near impossible). Hoping that it can either be remedied in the future, or that it doesn't dissuade customers, so that this place can stick around! read more
