In a state where just about everything closes at 8pm this place is open late! (Well until 9pm)…read more Placed a late order with them and they were kind enough to fill it. Got orange chicken, pad Thai and drunken noodle. Finding the spot isn't difficult. Parking behind it is a bit strange but offers a way into the restaurant from the back which is great. Staff, only met 1 fella who was very nice. Food was ready in about 15min which was awesome. Orange chicken - sauce is delicious and addictive. Chicken itself was a bit lacking in flavor. The amount of veggies and sauce was great. Pad Thai - while it didn't look very eye catching the flavor is what really jumped out. Having had Thai from many places, this one stood out. Ordered the seafood combo version and amount of seafood was actually surprising. Good amount. Drunken noodle - got this with chicken. Another flavor bomb. Expertly prepared noodles with a nice bang of spice that really gently punches you in the mouth Excellent spot especially when everything else is closed. Recommend stopping in

There's not much Thai/Vietnam atmosphere and the service was like, "I'll check on you in a minute; can't you see I'm busy on my phone and talking with my co-workers." The food was alright; nothing to write home about though. Go there if you need a Thai/Vietnamese food fix, but in my opinion there are other much more delicious Thai and Vietnamese restaurants in the area. "Yeah, well that's just like your opinion man."

The ambience was peaceful and welcoming, we felt like we were at rest. The food hit the spot but seemed to lack some flavor. The veggies were well done, but I usually like the broth of my soup to be more flavor-packed. We were big fans of the cocktail presentations. Overall, good experience.... Would recommend.

We were there on the earlier side at 6pm, and people were already being told there was 25-30 minute wait for a table (not sure if that was because there was a sold out show at the State Theatre down the street, but still busy!). The host was very friendly and saw us to our table right away. He was very sweet when he learned it was my birthday and brought us a free dessert without making a spectacle out of it. A review of our food: Chive Cake: perfectly fried on the outside and the right amount of creamy and savory on the inside. Great size for an appetizer. Fried Rice with veggies: Standard fare done well. Pad See Eww with veggies: My favorite Thai dish done very well. Not overly sweet, broccoli wasn't mushy or toothsome, and the noodles were great. Green Curry: Fresh and balanced flavors with the right amount of heat. Sticky Rice dessert: We ate it all but it was too salty. The portions are larger so we had two more meals of leftovers to take home. I'm happy we went here to celebrate my birthday! Great option in downtown Portland.

This. Is. It. Seriously, do not pass go. No notes. If you want to take a journey into tantalizing…read moretastebud adventures you must make it a point to get here. Super funky vibes. There's records being thrown down, cool lighting, nice decor and even super friendly folks. The employees here are beyond nice and welcoming. Like they know what they are doing here and they are offering you an experience that is fun and funky. We started off with two drinks. One was called a salad of some sort (sorry, blacked out) and it was delicious. The other was just as good. Ordered the eggplant app - do not leave without this. Absolutely amazing. For food, we ordered a rice bowl with pork sausage and a noodle bowl (with lobster and clams). Don't remember the names. Both were absolutely fantastic. The flavor profiles are just incredible. The rice bowl had so many things happening. Just terrific. The noodle bowl has a broth that you would drink daily. There wasn't one thing that could have made these dishes any better. Do not leave without dessert. Read that again!!! Get the honey sundae. This is what dreams are made of. You will question reality. No matter how stuffed you think you are, order this. Service: Great Food: We started off with soft serve and the seasonal earl gray outshined the house honey. The earl gray had a great flavor topped with an excellent syrup while the honey was mild and the chocolate shell didn't add anything, although the 'honeycomb' bits were delic. Crispy eggplant special - good, very small portion Pork katsu sandwich - pretty solid, interesting pickle Pad mee korat - good, small portion Value: Aside from the soft serve, the portions were very small for ~$17 price point, and the food was good but aside from the earl gray soft serve, didn't amaze to the point of paying a higher price point. Overall I did like this meal but portions were small for prices. I hope they keep the earl gray soft serve around!

Beige sauce. Beige peanuts. Zero spice. Too sweet. Bland flavors. Mostly noodles and sprouts. Not much protein. Maybe it was an off night. But . . . blah. They brought some ground chilis, that added a touch of heat but that didn't add much flavor. I kept adding chilis. It didn't fix the underlying lack of flavor. Daughter got the drunken noodles. It definitely looked better than the Pad Thai. She said it was average at best. At least it had some color. We both ordered our dishes spicy and neither one had any spice. Like zero on a scale of 1 to 5. Both entrees were about $14. The salvation of the meal was the curry puff appetizer. They were really good. Savory filling in a flaky pastry crust. Like a Thai-chicken and curry empanada. So so so good. They were $8. Service was ok. There were only a few tables with patrons so that helped. The place is really cute, and they put a pitcher of water on the table along with nice water glasses. I just wish the food was spicy enough to need a lot of water. If I was scoring only for the Pad Thai, I'd give this a minus zero. With the curry puffs and the nice ambiance, I'm giving this a generous three stars. It should really be a two star review. That said, lots of people seem to have positive reviews. Maybe I just hit a bad night or a substitute cook.

All items were expertly cooked, and the flavor was so satisfying, hitting so many notes. All three at my table felt equally enthusiastic about the food. The restaurant is small (but they do a lot of takeout), so anticipate possibly waiting for a table. The time from ordering to receiving your order was quick. But the best part of the restaurant was the family that owns it. They were so nice and accommodating, hospitality at its finest. A great example, I was told my takeout order would be another 5-10 minutes, so I went outside to my car. The owner walked it out to my car. So gracious and positive. Look them up in your GPS and let it guide you to a wonderful meal.
