Our dinners at Ichi Roll are always hot and delicious. We always get an extra side salad because they are so fresh. The people that work there are very kind and helpful. They are generous of spirit, always friendly. While there are many that come in to pick up their take-out orders, the dining space is pleasant and clean for those who choose to eat there. There is always hot tea to be had, too. Great gem of NW Seattle!

Good tasting food and friendly service! I come here often on rainy lazy afternoons. I can choose between their bubble tea for dessert or go to 7-Eleven next door. Super convenient.

Great teriyaki place! Kind staff, fresh & tasty food, good portions for the price, and spacious inside seating. Came here on a Friday evening and the parking lot was a little stressful but all and all great dinner experience, definitely check them out!

Legitimately my favorite spot in Seattle. The katsu chicken is so succulent, the teriyaki sauce is never too salty, the tempura is always perfectly crisp. Ichi Roll sets my standard for teriyaki and it really is hard to beat. The only thing I actively dislike is their boba tea because it's just too sweet. The staff is always so nice as well.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu. The chicken is so soft, tender, and juicy! Absolutely blown away by how yummy the food is despite its simplicity. The salad is simple but fresh and you can control the amount of dressing added. Very very generous with the amount of rice Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Cute shop with bright menu and simple decoration Service: 5/5 - super friendly and quick service even with the number of orders coming through online and the phone Value for price: 5/5 - huge servings, great food, amazing service. Can't ask for more! Must stop by for some yummy comfort food

Yak 1st (Teriyaki 1st) was closed, so my homie says we gotta go here. He says that the chicken quality at 1st has been declining. He says, THIS might be the new champ. It's not. Not at all. But it's great, and ordering from the very kind and patient staff didn't make me nerve sweat and heart-seize like I have been for basically the past two decades when I do from 1st. So yeah, I recommend it. But it ain't the champ. Specific recommendation: Fried rice x Spicy Chicken x extra dressings Gyoza was meh.

Ichi Roll Wok offers some of the best Teriyaki in the city. Great service, solid portions, and at a reasonable price.

Good teriyaki sauce, a bit sweeter than my usual tastes. Great sushi, at least from what I've tried.

The restaurant was lively with a moderate noise level. A simple family restaurant that puts out authentic Chinese food. My companions both ordered the Black Mushroom with Chicken Rice in a stone clay pot. Their regular meal at the restaurant. I selected the Braised Beef Brisket with vegetables in a clay pot. The two rice dishes require 20 minutes to prepare hence my Braised brisket arrived first and bubbling hot. The flavors were rich and deeply satisfying. So good that my companions plan to order the Braised brisket next time. The Chicken Stone pot clay rice bowls arrived soon afterward. My friends enjoyed their dishes. Fresh tasting and delicious crispy rice. One ordered a Milk Tea and enjoyed it. Highly recommended for an authentic meal when you are in Seattle's International district!

Service is quick and straightforward. We ordered the pineapple bun with butter, mixed steak plate with black pepper sauce, and spare rib and chinese sausage clay pot. The pineapple bun was large, hot, and crispy with the sugary crust, although I wish the slab of butter was a bit bigger because it gets a little dry after you run out of butter. My boyfriend really enjoyed his mixed steak plate - it came with a pork steak and beef steak, steamed rice, and steamed veggies. The meat was fine but the real winner was the savory sauce! The clay pots take 20-30 minutes to cook which they tell you ahead of time, so be aware my boyfriend was about done with his food when the clay pot came out. This was a delicious classic dish reminiscent of the clay pots back in Hong Kong! I poured in a ton of sauce and it really gets absorbed into the hot rice and meat. The steamed bok choy was a nice refreshing touch. Our favorite bite was the crunchy rice at the bottom of the pot mixed with the delicious sauce. There's so many menu items that caught our eye and we'd love to come back and try it all! Hearty, delicious no-frills meals.

Since my last review the restaurant has closed and reopened, and expanded their menu, to now include more dumplings and varieties of noodles. They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once. The food here is so good, though, and prices are so reasonable, that I truly do not care that the experience is pretty bare bones otherwise.

The food was really quick but I did go a little after lunch time. I ordered the spicy and tangy beef biang noodles. I had ordered the regular spice, but for me, I would've chosen the spicer one as I like spice but wanted to be safe. There was lots of really good flavors. The overall space and bathroom was very clean and a great spot for lunch!
