Rare steak pho before doctoring. ...And a glass of Chardonnay.

The food was packed full of flavor! Great portion for price. Service was fast and quite pleasurable. It's a small spot yet accommodates many tables. The bathroom was very clean and smelled nice. Great leftover as well. Air fryer for the reheat win.

Needed food and found this spot. Walking inside you see tables and the register in front. They have a QR Code menu or a regular menu. I ordered the Beef Short Rib Plate, Garlic Butter Wings & Strawberry Lemonade . Beef Short Ribs were good....Garlic Butter Wings were good....Strawberry Lemonade was good. If you're in the area swing by and check this place out.

A little hole in the wall in udistrict. The food was good. Service was nice and fast. I would come back.

I ordered a beef banh mi sandwich and it was the best beef banh mi I've had! Beef banh mi from other restaurants I've been to are not as delicious as Time Bistro's. The amount of fillings gave a balance profile and the French bread wasn't too big, thick or overly toasted-- it doesn't hurt the roof of my mouth. It still had a good crunch though! The service was quick, thorough, and friendly. I'm definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

My favorite spot to get pho in U District! Service is always fast here and the flavors hit the spot for me. My friends and I always come here after a long day of classes or on a rainy day when we're craving soup. We love ordering the crab delights from here!

Great food and a nice spot to check out if you're in the U-district area! It's a casual little spot with tables inside. Service is friendly and it was nice because they did split checks for us. They have a vegetarian menu which is separate from their regular menu and my friend with some dietary restrictions really appreciated this! Lots of options for vegans as well. I got their combo noodle bowl which included pork skewers and an egg roll over noodles and salad. Very refreshing and well balanced. The meat was tender and very flavorful. The sauce could have been a little more tangy but still pretty solid.

Solid vietnamese place on the ave! The menu has so many options and I definitely want to come back to try more things. Got the pork skewer vermicelli and it tasted pretty good and good portion size. Also tried the flan and loved the texture and flavor. The food came out pretty quickly as well

As of right now, I thought this was alright for Vietnamese food but, I do think that it is a good convenient place for UW students since its place on the Ave. The inside was kinda small, and the staff was really nice and welcoming. Anyway going onto the food, maybe I had ordered the wrong thing because I felt like I wasn't getting my money's worth with the vermicelli bowl (portion size). I was there with my friends and I thought the pho seemed more worth it and good. Then lastly I also tried the tofu appetizers but I thought they were ok too. But I will come back to try other things!

Solid place for good pho and banh mi on the ave. Restaurant is small and cozy and the people there are very nice. They have a lot of TVs to keep you entertained too.

This place is FANTASTIC for vegetarians and vegans. They have a whole veggie menu with veggie or vegan versions of just about everything and more than one protein choice or option too. I would come back just for that but the Thai tea, bahn mi, and egg rolls were tasty so I also liked that. I'd love to come back and try the soup. Service was good and ambiance was nice. It looks kind of unassuming from outside and the sign is smaller and up high so you could almost miss it but inside is nicely furnished and clean (not always what I come to expect from restaurants in this area as it's so close to UW). I'd definitely come back and recommend to veggie, vegan, or meat-eating folks.

I remember the days when you'd see them sitting at the corner table, hand-folding wontons right in front of you. They've gotten so busy now that they do it in the back, and if you don't time your visit right, be prepared to wait in a long line. This is my absolute go-to combo on a chilly day, and honestly, the best hangover cure: Wonton Noodle Soup, Cod Fish Congee, Chinese Broccoli, and Chinese Donuts (Youtiao). You cannot skip the donuts--they are a must! My personal ritual is adding a splash of pink vinegar and chili paste into the congee, dipping the donut in, and taking a huge bite. It's pure comfort that warms you up from the inside out and instantly heals a tired soul. My husband prefers the beef wonton noodle soup because it's rich and hearty, but I love the classic, clean flavor of the plain wonton soup with its seafood-based broth. A quick heads-up: The service is typical for an authentic, bustling Chinese restaurant--don't expect fancy fine-dining treatment, but the staff is genuinely friendly and efficient. Also, **it's CASH ONLY**, so come prepared! Among the handful of restaurants I've stayed loyal to for 20+ years, this spot holds a very special place in my heart. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I stopped in before a flight, which in hindsight was a mistake. We ordered around 12:30 PM (niku beef udon, garlic pork udon, and chicken karaage), and it took nearly an hour to receive everything. The karaage came out first after about 40 minutes, then one udon about 10 minutes later, and the final dish close to an hour after ordering. Because of this, we weren't able to eat together unless one of us let our food go cold. On top of that, the restaurant itself was uncomfortably cold, which made the long wait feel even worse. It also seemed like many other tables were experiencing similar issues--orders coming out at different times or missing entirely, with customers having to repeatedly follow up. What stood out most was the lack of communication. There was no acknowledgment of the delays, no check-ins, and no apology--not when the food was dropped off, and not even when we left. Given that we had to pay upfront and the price point was $20+ per bowl, it made the experience feel even more disappointing. While the portions were decent and the noodles seemed handmade, the food itself didn't feel particularly special to justify the wait or cost. I truly hope this feedback is helpful. With better timing, communication, and overall service, I think the experience could be much better.

The sayap ayam pedas was a huge portion for just 2 people, but we couldn't stop eating. The combination of soy sauce and fish sauce was not overpowering at all and the chicken itself was so juicy. The chicken curry in the nasi lemak was delicious with the coconut rice. Along with the anchovies, egg, peanuts, and sambal, it was a choose-your-own-adventure kind of bite. The kaya toast was the perfectly sweet dish to balance out all the flavors. I especially loved dipping it in the poached egg for a satisfyingly runny bite. This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. Our Calamari came out quick and was delicious to the point I nearly had to fight my son for the last piece. I quickly surrendered as he does stab people...see above...he parried my fork and stabbed the last piece before quickly finishing the move. Our mains came out shortly after we finished the calamari. The 14yo ordered beef brisket noodle soup. He said it was delicious, but too spicy after he added too much chili oil. The wife scoffed at the idea that there's such a thing as too much chili oil and ate some of his soup. This was after she dug into her hot pot. I did get a chance to sample the delicate pork pieces and the flavorful rice. The slightly crispy rice at the bottom of the pot were so delicious. I had the Singapore style fried noodles. Really tasty. The noodles had so many flavors from the vegetables to the meats (shrimp, chicken meat & egg, and pork) and the sauce.
