Stopped at Pho You & Mi for lunch on a Sunday. Yes, it is located on the Strip across from Circus Circus and the parking in that shopping center is a little tricky. However, there is plenty of parking on the side through a small tunnel near the restaurant. The staff here are amazingly friendly! We were greeted and seated very quickly! The restaurant is clean and had fun decorations on the ceiling. They also have several TVs playing games if you're trying to keep up on various sports. The menu has plenty to check out. While we were there for the Pho, they did have sandwiches, egg rolls, wings etc. The pho here is really good! The broth is solid and they provide all the usual items to let you enhance to your own taste. The noodles are really good - cooked perfectly and good quality. They don't break while you're eating! All is good in Vegas now. An affordable recovery meal walking distance from RWLV and Wynn. No need to drive off the strip for some hot broth and delicious steak and eggs. Andrew seated us to a clean table as soon as we got in. The menu is clean and simple. It's good just to be able to point, choose and have the meal come out ready to eat in a matter of minutes. This place is on the strip. The end of the strip next to encore. When you walk in you see all the different colors of the chairs and tables. When you look up you see neat lanterns and fish! The pho for me is really bland, but their homemade meatballs was delicious! The pho didn't have a lot of meat and it was also too soft. As far as the eggrolls, they were fine and came in only 3s. I didn't like the nuc mam cham the eggrolls came with. The sauce is what makes vietnamese food good. Its all about the sauce. If you don't like it, then that dish wouldn't be very good. The vinegar taste is too much for me. I am more of a salty and a little sweet sauce kind of lady. There's actually a difference in sauce depending on what region of Vietnam youre from. The banh mi I got was my favorite. I asked for extra mayo butter and that was also 1.50$ extra. I guess they charge for everything here! What can you do though? Quick, fresh, clean and piping hot! Everything I look for in a restaurant and the food they serve. Came in on a whim looking for something warm on a cold day and was delightfully surprised at how delicious Pho You & Mi was. The broth for the pho was made fresh and tasted clean. As someone who also loves her food piping hot, this bowl of soup delivered on all accounts. The fried egg rolls were also extremely tasty. Loved wrapping them in the pickles veggies and dipping them in the nuoc mam! This is an easy walk from the Las Vegas convention center and 100% worth it. The service was extremely fast and the servers were very kind and welcoming. Definitely the best Vietnamese food you can find on the strip. The menu is simple as they only focus on the most common Vietnamese foods you can think about and they're all quality. The must try is the pho, any banh mi and their cha lua. These are staple Vietnamese dishes and they do it really well here. Everything has a very authentic Vietnamese taste to it which reminds me of Vietnam. Even the decor has a slight resemblance of Vietnam with the colorful chairs similar to the small stools you'd sit on in Vietnam. They just have a more modern feel with the colorful decor and neon lights that make it seem like a cyberpunk Vietnam. There were a lot of people here, but it didn't feel too busy. Thought the high rating was a fluke, or incentivized. I was wrong. Waited 20 minutes for a table, and I understand why. Vietnamese food here is so good. The iced coffee was delicious and not overly sweet. We tried all 3 bowls of pho, all were excellent. They are extremely attentive and brought extra bean sprouts even when we didn't ask. The chicken wings and fried spring roll were authentic and delicious. Don't let the fully covered windows and neon signs trick you; it's authentic food here! Pho was great, pretty authentic given a random spot near the strip. Service was prompt, we went during off hours but they were quick to bring it out which is a good sign for an authentic pho shop. The viet coffee is premixed which isn't the greatest but hey, you deal with what you got. They only had dac biet instead of more options so keep that in mind. The chili sauce on the table is pretty good, actually spicy. All in all, I would recommend if you have a craving. However if you let them cool down too much, the sauce harden and it was near impossible to pick them up. It tasted good but you had a short window to finish them. They have only been here for a few months short & yet they seem to have a pretty good business The owners Tony & Andrew were very welcoming. When my wife & I entered we met Andrew @ the door. The restaurant is brightly lit w/cool colorful lanterns in the shape of fish & red lamp. We both ordered the House Special Pho (Dac Biet). The broth was amazing & the meatballs melted in your mouth (I could have eaten another 1/2 dozen). The beef was also very good. As in most Vietnamese restaurants they come w/a plate of bean sprouts that add a refreshing crunch, lime, slices of jalapeño & Thai Basil. I love Thai basil and cook w/it often. I prefer the Thai basil to sweet basil as it has a stronger mute pungent flavor. Tony came to our table and talked to us for awhile. His server were very good & on point (I tip cash (no taxes). I went months ago and decided to wait on my review until now bcs I just went back and it is by far the best pho broth I've tried here in Vegas. So the first time we ordered the wings for an appetizer and they were good but i thought they were a bit overcooked and a tad bit tough. The second time we ordered the spring rolls and we were surprised there were only 3 rolls instead of the typical 4. They were tasty so no one complained. The pho is where they bring it home. The broth is cooked for 12-14 hours and you can taste the nutrients healing your soul. They give a great amount of noodles and a small plate of veggies so if you like more then you'll have to ask for it. They have some kind of special for 4.99 more you get unlimited noodles. We also ordered some bahn mi to go and boy they had a whole briefcase holder for them bcs we ordered 4 and got 1 for free. The sandwiches were fresh, packed with meats and really flavorful. The decor is based on the night market in Vietnam, the chairs and colorful lights are a nice touch but the neon lights can be bothersome after a while. The wall pictures of Vietnam is really cool and artistic. My mom and aunt couldn't believe that there's no more Yama Sushi (previous restaurant in that space) Staff were attentive and helpful. I've been here three or four times since they opened and it's become one of the only pho spots I'll eat at in Vegas. It's a super cute Vietnamese restaurant that has decor and design to feel like you're eating on the streets of Vietnam. It's super bright and colorful. They have a tight menu of banh mi sandwiches, pho, drinks, and plate dishes. Their pho both is super CLEAN AND LIGHT but flavorful! It's the cleanest broth in Vegas for sure. I love their egg rolls, it has the most "homemade" taste IMO regarding the filling and I love the crunch, whatever wrapper they use is great. They also have an "all in" banh mi which is their signature banh mi dac biet. It's a bit pricier but it's STACKED and they make a lot of the meats in house. They don't skimp on the pate and I'd say it's the best banh mi in town. Today I tried their steak and eggs which is a dish I've never had before. It was a skillet with sliced beef plus pate and cheese and tomato and fried egg. THIS WAS SO GOOD! I would eat this everyday for breakfast. This place is well decorated, it kind of gives street vibes with the neon lights. There were lots of chairs and upon entering you are greeted well. I did take out for the bahn mi, I was kind of surprised with the pricing $15 for a bahn mi. I thought it was overpriced for just a sandwich honestly and the sizing for hit wasn't huge. I ended up getting 2 sandwiches, one pork and one chicken. Both sandwiches were really good, heavy on the protein and less on the veggies which I didn't really like. I was trying to get these sandwiches from the lost and found sweet treats, since it was advertised there but they had told me it got too popular so now they sold it at this store. So to find this pho place within walking distance as well makes it golden. It's not the best pho, but their fatty brisket and homemade meat balls were really good. The broth was decent as well. I live downtown and work on the strip so the location is perfect for me. Loved the decor. I had to ask to pay, but I also recognize they had a new server come on and it was me who came in at 3 haha. So no worries. Also, they give a local discount! Add to that they also have an option to add oxtail, which was fall off the bone tender, this place can't be much better (I do wish they had cold spring rolls, but that's OK). Chris took care of me big-time and they even filled out my water bottle filled with ice so that I wouldn't get dehydrated on the walk. This was ok: Pho Đặc Biết Vietnamese Coffee The interior is honestly the highlight here. Bright, colorful, and modern with a neon district vibe that definitely catches the eye. Unfortunately, the food and service don't match the aesthetic. I ordered the pho đặc biệt, which felt small for what you'd expect from a pho spot. Just four pieces of meat and some noodles. Oddly, my friend ordered the exact same dish and got noticeably more meat, so portion consistency is a bit questionable. The broth does smell and taste pretty good, though. We also got Vietnamese coffee, which was all over the place. One was sweet but weak, the other was strong and bitter. Again, lack of consistency and quality. Service wasn't great either. My friend's bowl came out first, and I had to follow up with a server about mine before it showed up. The plate of bean sprouts and greens they gave us was tiny, barely enough for one person, let alone two. Overall, it's a good looking spot with underwhelming food and poor value. Eating in the strip is already expensive due to location but it's hard to recommend a place I wouldn't come back to until they fixed the consistency issue and value proposition. read more
