PHENOMENAL. Every bite was out here minding its business and then BOOM--flavor explosion. Zero misses. And the Banh It Ram... yeah, that's the one that folded me. Haven't been back to this place in a while, and unfortunately, not much has changed. The food is expensive, but the quality and taste just aren't there. On top of that, the A/C was blowing hot air, and the chairs are still hard and uncomfortable. One of the biggest problems with restaurants in Las Vegas is consistency. A place can start out great, get people coming back, and then slowly let the quality slip. There seems to be very little effort to maintain the same standard once a restaurant becomes established. I'm being honest because it needs to be said: good restaurants shouldn't become comfortable or complacent. If you're charging premium prices, the food, service, and overall experience should consistently justify what customers are paying. read more

The bánh cuốn was incredibly flavorful and definitely hit the spot. I also ordered the grilled chicken pho, which was excellent. I liked that they served the grilled chicken on the side, so it stayed juicy and didn't get soggy in the broth. One of the better Vietnamese spots in Vegas right now. We got a variety of dishes such as Ban Cuon, Banh Mi, Pho Chay, House Special vermicelli bowl and pork spring rolls. Everything was fresh and tasted really good. The vibe inside is clean and modern but still cozy. Service was friendly and pretty quick even when it got busy. I would say, high 3's. It would be at a 4 if they're more consistent. Banh Khot, which is my favorite, is a hit or miss. Whichever you're going to get is a toss up. One day I'll get an amazing Banh Khot with a crispy outside and a delicious soft center.. the next time I'll get a mushy dish that isn't cooked all the way and tastes like raw rice cake. Their pho and bun rieu, taste a bit like, it was made to cater to this side of town. If you know what I mean. The sauce they make for the Nem Nuong, taste strange and its not the usual peanut sauce. But, why do I keep coming back? Why oh why. They have dishes that other Vietnamese places on this side of town do not have. The menu goes beyond the usual pho, vermicelli bowls, and broken rice plates. It's hard to find some of these specialties without driving across town. Like I said, when it hits, it hits. This is my second time here and will come everytime I'm in Vegas. There's 2 locations but this one allows you to reserve which is perfect for a larger group. Easily my top spot for Henderson area and easily top 5 overall in LV, I honestly dont know where to rank this imo, Id have to go back multiple times to try their other dishes. The thing that stuck out for me was the way they make the eggrolls, I believe they used rice paper instead. I havent seen alot of places in LV do that with there Bun Bowls. Pho Saigonese in Vegas is not your typical hole-in-the-wall pho spot it's super clean and upscale. The inside feels more like a lounge with low lighting, nice décor, and a really chill vibe. The food was high quality and definitely felt more elevated than your standard pho place. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Their drinks were also a standout made with real fruit and not overly sweet or artificial. On top of that, the service was amazing. All the servers were really nice and friendly. Also tried the house vermicelli with grilled pork, egg roll, etc. Very tasty with peanuts, radish, etc. to keep it fresh and savory. Our server was really friendly and also offered fresh Thai chilis which added a good kick of spice. The restaurant is decorated nicely and the restroom is clean and smells good - a nice touch. Our server was ok- friendly but when requested for some extra napkins, he never delivered... by then we were already done with food. Restaurant is small with decent seating.
