Oatmeal made to perfection. Better than my mama made! You can find healthy choices at Gus'.

Chesterfield Gus Coney is my home away from home. I have the sexiest best cooks who prepare my meals daily-always with a smile. Moussey's Home made daily soups to nourish and comfort the soul. Steve,Vince, Pete, George, make the best Grilled healthy platters for dinners and those salads!! The Greek specialties and American coney dogs!! THE COFFEE IS ADDICTING LIKE NO OTHER PLACE. THE WAITRESS'? Wafa, Lisa, Rose, Amy,Sue, Missy, plus others who's names I don't know yet! They have become ministers. (I typed they have become like sisters but auto corrected to ministers which is fitting too so I left it). seriously stop in and say hi, 6AM-11PMpm Gratiot S of 23. Don't forget MJ at the drive thru. Behind the science workers Dave and others keep it clean, i see my face in the spoons kinda clean. everyone works hard, puts up with a lot so gratuities for the great service and consistent meals ARE ALWAYS APPRECIATED.

I guess the hotdog was OK. It was bad and then I had diarrhea. This is the most terrible food I've ever tried. I would

I would never go there again. The food is disgusting. I tried chili cheese french fries the meat was very bad. The service was bad and the restaurant was out of date and there was grease everywhere and it was very dirty.

    Steak and cheese sandwich.

Decent Coney Island. Fast service, and the food was fine. My steak & cheese tasted really good although the meat was a little gristly. My husband had a fried fish sandwich that was solid. Good place to stop if you're on the road and want to sit down rather than grab fast food. The decor is a little dated, but it seemed clean and was also family-friendly.

This place is always solid for good breakfast and Coney dogs... But this time actually got my order wrong but it was still OK. But I went with my usual egg sandwich with bacon and then Coney dog always a good way to get the day started. Very nice staff.

French toast with cinnamon and powdered sugar.

Our favorite weekend breakfast! The whole menu is great. Service is top notch and old school. The whole place is classic and nostalgic.

Food-wise, it was a mixed bag but mostly good. I ordered a chicken wrap and that was the miss for me. The chicken was kind of shredded and just not great, so I wouldn't order that again. My son got the donut waffle which was fine, but the real standout for the kids was the pancakes. Three big, fluffy pancakes on the kids plate and they were legit good. The fruit sides were excellent too. Fresh berries, not sad afterthought fruit. My husband's omelet looked amazing and made me realize I probably should've stuck with more classic breakfast food instead of a lunch item. Service was friendly and patient. It was a little slow, but it was a busy Saturday morning and it looked like our waitress was covering a whole section by herself. Getting the bill took a bit, but it felt more like opening growing pains than bad service. Overall, great atmosphere, solid breakfast options, and a place I'd totally return to. Next time I'm going full breakfast menu and skipping the wrap for sure.

She gave us suggests on what to order. We settled on the breakfast burritos and a chicken bacon ranch omelette. We both really enjoyed both. Oh and a delicious homemade cinnamon roll. The portion sizes were huge and we both ended up with large amounts to take home. I also ordered a morning Spritz which was gin, raspberry smash and sparkling wine. It was ok. But I would go with a traditional mimosa next time. I joined the loyalty program as well. We really loved it here and will definitely be back!

I met with Laurie H. for breakfast at 9am to this new business to enjoy based on other reviews from friends. Yes it is a large restaurant with a variety of coffee flavors, creative entrees and large portions too. Food entrees are made from scratch with unique finishing touches. I wish the entree I chose included a side of meat choice but that was extra $$. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted a table and chair or booth so we agreed on the comfy leather booth that is bright yellow. The overall atmosphere was bright and wide open with variety of areas to sit for breakfast, brunch and lunch only. I didn't like the open steel metal ceiling therefore it was noisy. Yep their Hours are 7 days a week from 8 AM - 3 PM. Phone: 586 488-1890 to Call for carry out orders or check if busy for dining since No Reservations! Have You Heard ? This location is owned by the Perkaj Brothers and they are the Chefs. I posted their Facebook photo showing their Happy Smiles at running this location. I ordered the French Toast with Nutella and Bananas tells ALL and Oh My Deeeelicious it was from start to finish cleaning my plate which cost $17.00 without a meat as a side. That was extra...hmm ?? I wished to try some bacon or pork sausage but not. I ordered a Hot Caramel Latte and that taste perfectly for $5.00. Iced Water was complimentary upon request so we ordered tall glasses. NO advance Reservations so if you have a large party or wish to enjoy Brunch here with family, better check ahead of time, since they will be busy on the weekend so I heard. I noticed on my receipt that they offer a loyalty program to earn points on your dining experience unfortunately the waitress did not mention it when we were ready to pay our bill. I'll have to think about if I return again for another breakfast or lunch visit. Again the atmosphere is bright and music was pleasant that we could still chat and catch up on our lives. :-) Countertop bar area and dining too with Mimosas or alcohol drinks with breakfast, brunch or lunch. Photos attached of the Bar Countertopm Service was efficient and table setting wonderful with fresh flowers, assorted creams and sugars plus clean silverware and napkins plenty. Demi the waitress checked on us a couple times before bringing our bills to check out. Ouch on My breakfast total which was $23.00 before tip. Food Portion was plentiful yet a bit high price especially without a side. Gluten Free and Vegetarian options with Fresh Fruit available as a side. I would still like to come back for a Lunch hour and enjoy a wrap and sit near the front area that opens up for a breeze at a high top. I'll have to view their Lunch Menu and estimate the prices and definitely sip on a Smoothie or Flavored Drink Cocktail for Happy Hour. Sincerely, SpecialK Karen N.

Pretty decent place here…read more Came today for Mother's Day brunch and was expecting to wait a long time for seating. However, since it was just me and my son, we were able to get seated right away. They had a Mother's Day brunch menu so I didn't get to try other main things for their menu. However, I do think they pulled selected items from their main menu for today. The food was really good. I did enjoy it and I think that they had a nice portion size. I don't think they were too pricey pretty standard for breakfast today. Everything $17 and under is it seems. I did really like the Redskin potatoes and I am shocked because I'm usually not a fan of those as breakfast potatoes. Some places taste very bland, however the way they did theirs were very delicious. I felt that it was a ham that came off of the bone, which is a plus! The portion was very small because it wasn't a thick piece of ham. I think if they gave two slices, I would have give 5 stars.. The eggs were really good. I did enjoy the quality of egg that they use. The entire staff seemed very nice. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. They also came and cleaned the tables very often which I enjoy. It's nice to be able to enjoy your food and get unnecessary plates and garbage out of the way. Overall, I would definitely come back and enjoy this place. I will come again to see the regular menu as it seems. They have lots of different foods that I would love to try.

A good number of items, very good prices, senior menu options as well as children's menu options. On this visit both of us opted for the 2 egg breakfast that's served with corned beef hash and toast of our choice. We both went with the raisin toast. It was good overall. Nothing Wowed me really. Wait, let me back up. Service here was very good. Sweet, fun servers, prompt answering questions, bringing drink refills, sample of the soup -yep, she did that. We ordered breakfast, the same thing for that matter. Our entrees arrived shortly after we ordered and they looked good. I was a it saddened to see my corned beef hash a wee bit browner that I would prefer but that's my fault for not specifying how I like it cooked. One thing I especially like is the raisin bread toast option. This seems to be a thing in Michigan, and I LOVE IT! We paid cash and asked for change for a large bill and server was able to accommodate that request easily. So overall we had a good experience here. I will say this is a small diner and the parking lot is similar. Customers appear to be regulars, or else the staff just treats everyone like they know them. They certainly do a good job of welcoming their customers.

I could have eaten ten of them. We also enjoyed the Queen's Greens Salad, which was as colorful as it was fresh and flavorful. Our tea selections were wonderful. The chamomile with vanilla and honey was soothing and fragrant, while the Paris black tea with its hint of caramel was rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. What made the experience even more memorable was the warm, welcoming service. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
