From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The dining room is elegant, warm, and inviting, and the outdoor deck is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of being refined without feeling pretentious. The food was outstanding--beautifully prepared, incredibly flavourful, and clearly made with care. The wine selection was equally impressive, with a wonderful variety that made choosing just one bottle the hardest part of the evening! What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was the hospitality. Christy, the owner, is one of those rare people who makes every guest feel genuinely welcome. When my grandson became a little restless, she kindly took him for a little walk and showed him around so my daughter and I could enjoy our meal. That small act of kindness meant so much to us, and it's something we'll never forget. It's rare to find a restaurant where every detail--from the food and wine to the atmosphere and service--is so thoughtfully done. The Chandler Room is one of those special places that leaves you already looking forward to your next visit. I only wish I had discovered it sooner so I could have brought other family members while they were visiting. We will absolutely be back, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Chandler Room to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in St. Andrews.

The patatas bravas are always excellent, same is to be said of the tuna tartar or ceviche, whichever they have on the menu. I don't think I have ever eaten a plate that I did not like. I have my favourites, as one does, but everything that I have tried truly amuses my bouche. Servers are always punctual. I have never felt I have waited long for any plate or drink. The wine selection is above satisfactory, and they shake up a mean cocktail for those who prefer luscious tastes of liquor. They have a good selection of beer, if memory serves me correctly, but wine is much better suited for the food they serve. The whole restaurant is very nice. It was once a house that was converted to its current form. If you are lucky enough to be seated at the outside table with the fireplace, you are definitely in the best seats in the house. The view on the patio is stunning, as you gaze into the Passamaqoddy Bay. It is not always possible to get a reservation there, as it is rightfully seen as the pearl of the oyster that is the Saint Andrews food scene.

I had the burger special which was fucking fantastic! I was getting pretty tired of seafood at this point and it was the most refreshing change of pace. It was one of those just in time food experiences. C went for the crab cakes. What a gorgeous version of crab cakes they were! Fancy pants presentation and all things considered some of the best crab cakes we had on our trip. Bartender was really friendly and was super proud of their whiskey/bourbon collection. He did point out a few bottles to us that were really quite special and hard to come across. They had some Penelope variants that were unseen to me. I would come back in a heartbeat. If I lived nearby, I would be here all of the time. There were a ton of interesting menu items I would like to try. '26 - 26

I assumed it's a touristy town but they really hold it down at Project Social. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional. I'd recommend to try as many dishes as you can. We ordered fresh oysters, clam chowder, octopus, lobster crepe, butternut squash soup and open face Bahn mi sandwich. I'd say the sandwich was least liked because it was falling apart with every bite but flavor-wise everything was perfect. The service was also exceptional. Nushi was really helpful with choosing dishes and making sure we had everything we needed. 10/10!! Would come back in a heartbeat

The toast was our favorite dish all week, with the mushrooms being perfectly cooked and the chèvre bringing a creaminess and slight funk to the dish. The octopus somehow had a melt in your mouth texture with a strong barbecue flavor and delicious sauces. We also ordered the ceviche, scallops, crab cakes, and duck tacos. It was all delicious, and flavors were well-balanced, meaning acids and fats were paired well together. Food presentation was exceptional. Service was incredible, in that our waiter answered all of our questions and food came quickly. Additionally, my wife and I showed up at 5:30 and were promptly seated. I think being offset from the main intersection some helps with crowds. Ambiance was top tier with the water feature and greenery.

We ordered several dishes and were thoroughly impressed. We started with the tostada, which featured wonderfully smoky brisket with a richness reminiscent of pork belly. Our summer salad with whipped feta was also delicious. The "Gambas" shrimp appetizer was probably our favorite of the night, full of layered buttery, spicy flavors reminiscent of an Indian curry. We also loved the mussels appetizer, served in a briny broth simmered with smoked pork and chorizo. The seasoning and flavor profiles of every dish were surprising and exceeded our expectations. We all agreed that Havana is a must try for all foodies!

Our waiter, HarHar, paid special attention to all of the allergies at our large table, including gluten free, pineapple, almonds, etc. The space is incredibly intimate, with live music. One thing that I would have wished for was more bathrooms, since there was frequently a line for them. However, not so intimate that we were smooshed together like sardines! EVERYTHING on that menu, including the paella, was spectacular. There was not a person in my party that left hungry that night- portions were large, and the food was extraordinary. I would absolutely come here again.

This was our only option before a 2 1/2 hour drive to Halifax. The service was good. Our server was very nice. But the food was... mediocre. The salad dressing came in little Kraft packets. The meals came with two veggie sides and mashed potatoes. The veggies -- carrots and parsnips -- tasted either canned or boiled or both. The mashed potatoes were clearly instant. I can't remember the last time I went to a restaurant and had food that was lower quality than I make in my own kitchen. The scallops were decent which was the only consolation as we had been looking forward to scallops from Digby since before our trip. The restaurant could also use a refresh. The inside looks like it's 1986. The air conditioning was also messed up and the inside of the restaurant was so cold I had to go get a long sleeved shirt from the car. And I am never cold.
