I struggled with writing this 1 star review because I like to praise companies for what they do…read moreright as opposed to what they're doing wrong. After thinking about it more I really felt compelled to make sure to share my experience. I was referred to Humberto by someone who used him professionally for remodel projects. They said that he did a good job for them but he wasn't the least expensive and I don't mind paying for good quality work. Let me first start by saying that the job was almost 2 years ago so I have given ample time to see how good the workmanship was. So of course just like a first date everyone is on their best behavior the first couple of dates. There were a few minor hiccups when we started: 1. The pavers were laid the wrong direction... that was an easy fix, yeah it took a little more time but they needed to be laid the right way. I mean I printed a picture and laid out on the diagram how the pattern should be and went over it a couple of times so not sure how that happened. 2. I asked for the drip lines to have the attachments at the tip and for them to be the adjustable type so I could control how much each plant got depending on the type of plant I was going to plant. He buried the drip and then when I asked him to do it the original way I asked he charged me extra. 3. I asked for metal edging and I saw the metal edging and the thickness at the specific store where he got it from. So when I noticed after he installed that the edging wasn't as thick and looked cheap and flimsy I decided to measure it and go down to the store just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Sure enough it wasn't the correct gauge. I asked him about it to which he responded that they didn't have that gauge and there was only 1 thickness. Listen I know people make mistakes but just own up to them. I had him meet me at this supply store and they confirmed that they did indeed have the correct gauge. Luckily the manager at the store was so nice that he gave me the contractors price which was less than the original price that I was given by Humberto. I didn't the landscaper mark up special this time around. 4. For the kicker...After I had him reinstall the correct gauge metal edging I asked him on more than one occasion if it was supposed to stick out nearly 4 inches above the ground.. I thought it was supposed to be more flush to the ground and act like a boundary between the landscaping. He didn't respond to my multiple text messages and unfortunately for my dog he ended up stepping right on the metal edging that should've been placed at least 4" into the ground. Instead...one injured pup and $500+ later in vet bills. We asked him to come and back fill against the metal edging with more granite rock so that the step down wouldn't be so bad... and of course he responded to that... Cha ching So you ask why am I writing this review nearly 2 years later? Because I tore the metal edging out this past weekend only to discover that most of the pieces were no more than 1/4 of an inch in the ground and the only reason they didn't cause more problems was because the 12" metal stakes kept them somewhat in place. Now I am having to have the edging redone. I spent over $9000 and you think he could've taken the time to install it right... I should've disputed the credit card charge way back then. Awful Awful Awful Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do the work you'll save yourself a lot of money and a headache in the long run

Roman Landscape was one of the first companies to reply, they came out to my house that same day, and they fixed the fence the very next day. They were able to negotiate a fair price with me as well. They communicated with me consistently and often. They are extremely polite, and the workmanship looks great. Would absolutely recommend!

I paid $1,000 in cash as a deposit and an additional $2,375 via Venmo for materials at his request. After payment was made, the project was delayed multiple times. Only minimal framing work was completed, and the concrete pour that was scheduled never happened. Communication then stopped completely. I made multiple attempts to contact him by phone and text and received no response. I also requested a refund, which was not returned. As of now, I am out $3,375 with no completed work. I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring this contractor.

He was quick in response to schedule an appointment, showed up on time, was much more affordable than some of the other quotes I received, and in my opinion... just did an overall fantastic job! My before picture doesn't do his work justice. I'm embarrassed to say these plants were probably a good 5-8 feet OVER wall height... totally embarrassed I let it get that bad! He trimmed everything down specifically to how I asked. As a bonus, his knowledge about plants was also quite extensive! After him finding out that I'd been doing my own yard work prior... he gave me some tips on where I should be trimming the plants so they stay healthy! As a novice planter, I really appreciated this! Last Saturday we had a big problem... it flooded the northeast corner of our lot. I csearch Yelp for drip system repairs and Yelp provided AZ Junk Busters. I called and spoke with Sergio. After explaining the problem, he said he could come out the next day. The problem was caused by a large tree root that had crowded and eventually cracked the PVC pipe. Long story short, he spent a day and a half rerouting the PVC line to ensure it wouldn't happen again and did it for a very reasonable price. Sergio is very professional and polite. He kept calling me "Sir" until I told him that was my dad. He did an exceptional repair and restored the area and closely as possible to what it was before. He is an extremely hard worker. Based on my experience, you cannot go wrong with Sergio.

Through Yelp projects I was put in contact with Precision Landscape. Very good communication effort…read morethrough the app. Scheduled for them to come on Friday since I would be home. They fit it into their routing and showed up around 0900. In about an hour they were able to get rid of all the overgrown weeds and clean up the trimmings. Then another truck showed up and they sprayed all the areas we discussed and they reiterated I should have no problem with weeds for AT LEAST 5-6 months. Will definitely use their service again in the future!
