John (our sales rep) and Brady (the manager) were responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, patiently answering all of our questions and making everything super easy. On the day of the wedding, our photo booth attendant, Nick, was fantastic--friendly, professional, and kept everything running smoothly. The booth was a total hit with our guests! Everyone loved their photo strips, and it brought so much joy and laughter to the evening. One of our favorite features was that guests received two printed copies of their photo strips, and we received a USB drive at the end of the night with all the photos--both in strip format and as individual shots. As the couple, we were busy soaking in the night and catching up with loved ones, so it was such a treat to relive the fun through those pictures the next day. It really let us see the celebration through our guests' eyes. The booth added such a unique and nostalgic vibe to the party. It was especially perfect for guests who weren't into dancing--it gave them something fun to do and a memorable takeaway. I've used them in the past year for 2 massive convention type events already (600+ people), and about to use them for a 3rd time at an even bigger event down in SoCal (possibly 1000 attendees)! Photo-Matica ROCKS! We hired them almost a year ago for our wedding this past Saturday because they were one of the only ones willing to travel the distance to our venue in Los Gatos, CA. Matt, the owner, was a pleasure to work with from day one. He is one of the most responsive vendor that we used which alleviated the wedding planning stress level significantly. He even responded within the minute at midnight!! Cray, right?!? I fell in love with Photo-matica's booths right away because I'm not a huge fan of the tent like photo booths that fits 20+ people. I loved the old school feel where everyone needed to fit into a tiny space, but still provided SUPER QUICK, HIGH QUALITY prints. Who wants to stand around waiting forever to get their prints, right? They even personalize the prints to your liking and will email the samples to you with the quickest of turnaround time. If you don't believe me, ask them and they will let you test out the booth before booking. His staff was quick, professional, and friendly. We recently got married in Sonoma and had a great experience using this company. Compared to other photo booth companies Photo-matica is averagely priced but the service is what sets them apart. I don't usually take to the internet to post reviews but these guys really went above and beyond. Doug and Matt were easy to work with and responded quickly to emails. There was some back and forth with the designs on the photo strips and they were very patient working with us. But the best part was their presence at the wedding. They had everything organized. They were attentive to guests and were never annoyed with the simple questions. We had a lot of comments on how great Doug worked the booth. He printed out more copies for larger groups (without prompting) and even glued some of the photos that guests left behind into our photo book, now that is service! We used Photo-matica for our wedding in San Francisco in November and I was really happy that we chose them. The photos came out really nice, and you are given an option to have the strips customized with whatever wording you want, with several choices of the layout of the wording on the strip. We had our names and wedding date running along the side and it made for a cute souvenir for our guests. I recently went to a holiday party where a photo booth by a different company was present, and the pictures came out really cheap looking, and their booth was rickety. Trust me, not all photo booth companies are the same. Our photos from Photo-matica were far superior, and their photo booth itself is very nice looking. I dealt with Matt, one of the owners of Photomatica, and he was really easy to work with. He responded to emails promptly and was generous with his time and pricing. He showed up on time and packed up and left without any problems at all. On top of getting unlimited photos for your guests, you are also given a disc of every single picture taken that night, and you are given a web link of all the pictures so that you can share them with your friends, in case they lost their strip in a drunken stupor (not that I know anyone that that happened to...). I was really pleased with Photo-matica and am trying to convince my friend to use them for her wedding, because I want to take more pictures in their booth, haha. read more

We used Photo-matica for our elementary school auction event. First off, working with Doug and Matt was wonderful. They are extremely responsive and very helpful. The night of the event we set the booth up next to the bar, I really liked how it looked like your "old-school" photo booth (curtain and all). Also- it was nice to have an actual booth. Lots of companies we checked out only offered the curtains and that is not what we wanted. They sent me a photo of the booth (cool vintage look), and even offered to send photo strip samples so we could see what the quality was like. We rented a booth from Photo-matica for my daughter's 8th grade school dance that took place at her school. I originally dealt with Doug, but eventually worked with Matt and Samantha. All were pleasures to work with. Because it was a school dance, we had to go through some school bureaucracy, and sometimes things took longer than normal to get approved and returned to Photo-matica. Matt was patient through the whole process. Also, unlike some of the companies that we called when we were researching photo booths, there were no hidden fees for "extras," like double prints, unlimited photos, etc. Photo-matica gave us a quote which told us exactly what we were getting, and then they delivered exactly what they promised. Samantha was our booth attendant and she was great with the set up and more importantly, great with the kids. The photos that came out really looked good and the kids really loved being able to pose with their friends. Photo-matica printed the name and date of the event on the side of the photos so the kids could have a nice souvenir of the dance to take home. The photo booth was a great addition to the dance.
