Their hot and sour soup with chicken was very tasty. Not too salty and it had plenty of meat in it too. My husband got a soup with meatballs and other meat in it. He enjoyed it. Still a little disappointed in the small side of white rice and the price they charge for it. Service was pretty fast here and the place was quiet considering how busy it was. Its been years since Ive eaten Phuket thai, I remember it was good back in the day, decided to give them a try again. I ended up eating them 3x in the past 2 weeks. The pad see eew beef and drunken noodle both are solid noodle dishes here, flavorful, good portion sizes, and the priced are very reasonable. I bought both pad see eew beef and drunken noodle pork and it came out to be $28. $14 a dish is pretty good price in my opinion, especially good portion sizes and great flavor. Tonight was a last minute dinner with the lovely missus and grand daughter. She wanted Thai....and so fortunate that we find Phuket Thai is open till 8:30pm. We were helped right awsy and ordered. While we waited we marveled at some of the impressive wall decor. Golden Tofu and a hot broth vegetable soup came quickly. Individual ingredients were cut pretty big. I would have appreciated a lemon wedge or something to cut the grease and add some acid. Eggplant meal came with delicious shrimps. Everyone there is very kind, super attentive and we've never had to wait to be seated. The food is delicious and they are big servings since they are meant to be eaten in family style. We order our usual basil chicken, Tom Yum soup and seafood talay. Again, it was tasty but the portion is very small. The seafood Taly has about 3' pieces of squid, bay scallops, shrimp and green mussels. The rest was filled green, red pepper and onion. Pretty steep for $18. The non-seafood dishes were reasonable. Phuket's sauces are all made in house and are sooo delicious. I ordered the Pad See Ew, the crying tiger and fried rice. Everything was so packed with flavor and it was so fresh. Inside of the restaurant was small but very very clean. There were people constantly coming in for to go orders (they seemed like regulars) so I knew this place was going to be good. Service was wonderful! Our server was so sweet and made pleasant conversation with us. She checked on us frequently and we had our drinks constantly filled. I ordered each time I came here crying tigers which was grilled rib eyes w 2 yummy sauces n fresh salads, I enjoy the crunchy cukes n tomatoes, I'm sick n tired of restaurants giving out arugulas n kales that tasted like crabgrass n about as tasty as chewing on rubber! I dipped the salad in the sauces, it was heavenly , they grilled the tender beef to perfection, it's even tastier than anything I had in Bangkok. The Tom yum noodle soup was also so good. The Penang chicken curry was so so, I should have ordered beef as the chicken was very bland but I still think this Thai restaurant is the best, I went to every single Thai restaurant in this area n there are so many, only 2 are good, phuket n Jumpa Thai, all the others are all sub standard n are too spicy n too sweet. Food/Service: The menu is long and extensive, but everything is reasonably priced. The dish portions aren't too large, so you can get multiple things for a group and share family-style. We ordered the Chicken Sate ($10.95), Salmon Pineapple Curry ($16.95), Crab Fried Rice ($13.95), Pad See Ew ($11.50), and BBQ Beef ($17.95). Everything was tasty, especially the Crab Fried Rice and Pad See Ew. I wasn't too impressed with the Salmon Pineapple Curry, since I thought the salmon was overcooked.
