I work out a lot so I have a lot of issues with clothing being too tight or too loose in some places. I needed and Ao Dai for a ceremony but I could not find one that fit me that was affordable. Co Thao is such a nice and wonderful person. I gave her a month to work on it and she finished it on time. She was really responsive to my calls when I wanted to check in on the dress, and not only that when I tried it on, she fixed some places to best accentuate my body. Unfortunately, I broke the zipper of the Ao Dai pants during the ceremony because I have thighs that are larger than the average person my size (also because I work out). This was not her fault, but I let her know that afterwards and she fixed it for free and loosen the pants a bit more for me. At least the stitching held together! She is fast, offers great service, very kind, responsive and very affordable. I can't say enough good things about her. If I needed to tailor my clothes I would definitely go to her. I just visited this place to get my pants hemmed. Brought in two pairs of pants. Thao, the lovely lady who owns the place which is a house converted into an alterations business in the front was very sweet. Her house is located on Story Rd. It's a busy road and you will most likely pass it since the sign is kind of tiny however there's parking in the front and I didn't have any problems. The changing room was odd but manageable. She told me to come back the following day to pick them up. I hope it turns out well. I had a pair of jeans and khaki pants to hem. Results of the hem will be updated tomorrow. We shall see! I went to this lady years ago to get my prom dress made. I loved it! She did a wonderful job! It's exactly how I wanted it! She made the dress from a picture that I drew! That's amazing! I tell my friends about her and even took them to her to get their prom dresses made. Now my friends go to her to hem their jeans and fix their clothes. She can be pretty pricy depending on what you want done. To hem pants/jeans it's $10. To fix dresses it ranges from $15-$30. But another friend of mine went to her and made two dresses and she only charged $30. So it really depends what it is exactly you want done. I brought in some curtains to be sewed together since I didn't want to pay for custom curtains. 7 feet long and 8 feet high, 2 sets of 3 panels of heavy fabric and 2 panels of a delicate sheer. They were ready in a week. I brought the curtains home and noticed they were slightly uneven on the bottom. She took them back, no questions asked, resewed them for me, and now they're perfect! She's very nice and pleasant to work with. I'm very happy with my final product and will definitely go back for my future alteration needs. read more
