Thankfully, I had time before FanFest to wait in line and purchase a few of the Scooby Doo donut exclusives and Voodoo's signature treats. My favorite, hands down is the Portland Dream. It's a Bavarian crème filled donut with chocolate on top. It's perfection in every way, The Dirt was a close second. The chocolate, breading, and portions were excellent. The Scooby donuts were mid-tier but still solid. It's a bit hot-pink spooky inside and there's very limited seating (and space for that matter). I wouldn't suggest eating inside as there's only two small circular tables available. Merch is plentiful and good quality. The decor is very Louisiana-style with a mix of coffeehouse vibes. Staff were AMAZING, they went the extra mile to help me find my perfect donut. Overall, I'll be back. I stuffed my face with three large donuts, that's how much I enjoyed my time here.

The voodoo bar is filled with raspberry filling - just the bottom 2/3 is filled (like where the green swirl is), but it is super filled! I really liked the flavor. Solid chocolate bar overall. The vicious hibiscus is sweet, with a tang. I really like it. The Memphis mafia was not as good as I was hoping for. It's dry for a fritter. But still fun nonetheless

We've been to almost all of them in SoCal being locals and we've agreed that this is the most disappointing location. CityWalk's Kitty Cafe's drinks are lazy, I'd say they're uninspired. I would only recommend the lemonade, as it was fresh and sweet. As for the other drinks, it was like adding shaved ice flavoring and dumping into it into a cup of ice water. Next, you sell it for a high price. The desserts are DRY! The only saving grace for the small cake we tried was the frosting. We disposed of the rest, such a shame! Our cashier was also quite confused and condescending. I did not like his vibe, it's not cute being a passive aggressive person. I seriously hope this location works out the kinks. I found the location had cute bistro tables, there's potential here. However, they need to fix their cafeteria-looking shopfront. Note: Character meet-n-greets are available on select days. Also, a Sanrio store can be found next door.

In addition to their expertly-crafted pastries, Sweet Lily offers a great variety of French dishes and packaged food items. My group ordered the Sugar Beignet, Raspberry Croissant, and Coffee Croissant - which were all wonderful. The Raspberry Croissant had a not-too-sour fresh jelly filling and was definitely the crowd favorite, but the thick, latte-flavored filling in the Coffee Croissant made it a close second place. The fresh-squeezed orange juice at $5 felt like an absolute bargain, and the Cappuccino was also well-executed. The real stars of the show were the entrees, though. Both the Avocado Toast plate and Croque Monsieur truly tasted like a trip to France. They were hearty and full of flavor, without feeling too heavy. The Sweet Lily twist on Avocado Toast includes melted mozzarella and slices grapes, which really elevated the dish! The potatoes and salads that came as complimentary sides were a welcome surprise, and just as craveable as the entrees themselves. I truly don't think there's a bad thing to order here, and I look forward to returning to this bright and welcoming spot to try more!

When asked if the 'whipped cream"was actual cream or topping, he did not know. It took another server to grab a bag out of the refrigerator to clearly show it is not whipped cream but whipped topping. I really feel anyone working here should know the basics. So anyway, we ordered the soft serve on a cone. He asked if we had a season pass and we stated we had the global partner pass. He took the card and disappeared for a few minutes. He came back and said he would honor the discount one time. He ended up totally messing up the order and Rather than wait for a refund, so we just took what we got.. Not what we ordered.. Then he gave us this crappy looking soft serve. Other servers had these amazing looking dessert treats.. But nope.. We had the biggest joke of the day here. Very disappointing.

However, Sweets…read more& Treats is opened inside Universal CityWalk, and you can get your Butterbeer fixes (and other limited Harry Potter treats) here!!! Dates & Times: Fridays to Sundays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Universal Studios sent out an email a month ago about this new concept/Pop-Up Shop). Parking: FREE!!! Self-parking in the Jurassic Lot. COVID-19 Safety Procedures: Staff wore masks and gloves when handling the Butterbeer, food and transactions. Hand sanitizer is available (as well as everywhere inside Universal CityWalk) and social distancing is strictly enforced. Security will remind patrons to mask up if they see them not properly wearing it. I came here to this Pop-Up Shop three weeks ago (when its inception was still recently new), and there wasn't a name for this place yet. My receipt was still listed as HoneyDukes inside the Wizarding World. This Pop-Up Shop is across from Tillys and was formerly LudoBird (Chef Ludo Lefebvre of Trois Mec and Petit Trois). Bummer that Chef Ludo's shop is gone, but thrilled that Sweets & Treats is in its place! You order and pay at the cashier stand, and pickup your Butterbeer/treats at the small pickup window to the left. Walking around and eating and drinking is prohibited and discouraged. However, you can eat/drink to the sides. $8 Butterbeer, deliciousness! Sweet, creamy mixture of cream soda and butterscotch flavors to tantalize my muggle taste buds *Butterbeer fix - satisfied*. Warning: The Butterbeer comes with a lid on top. Be careful when sipping it through a straw - the sugary, butterscotch flavored foam will quickly rise and spill out! It happened to me and some other patrons. If it spills on your clothes, the smell is hella strong and sticky! Ended up washing my jacket and shirt immediately after I got home, lol! After you have satisfied your Butterbeer fix, you can walk around and shop at Universal CityWalk. Great way to spend a lovely day!

ATTENTION HARRY POTTER FANS!!…read more You can now get Butterbeers at Universal CityWalk! They opened a walk up counter near the Universal Studios store close to the globe. You don't have to wait for the theme park to open up for these treats! There can be a long line, but the line goes pretty quick. The line to order is social distanced in the queue. You can pick up items at the window on the left of the cashier area. There's a limited amount of drinks and a couple of snacks available (churros & Butterbeer Ice Cream!) They offer regular, frozen & hot butterbeers! This cool afternoon called for hot butterbeers! It was a bit sweet for my liking, I only wished Starbucks was open so that I could mix the butterbeer in some coffee. I've had the frozen butterbeer in the Park and really liked it. The hot one was good but a bit sweet. At $8 for a small cup, it's a bit pricy, but a fun experience. Self parking in the structures is complimentary during the beginning stages of opening up after the pandemic while the theme park is closed. We parked in the Jurassic Parking that put us near the middle of CityWalk near Bubba Gump & Jamba Juice. Universal CityWalk is a dining & shopping district between the theme park and its many parking structures. There are many specialty shops and an AMC theater. Recommended! Especially the frozen version of Butterbeer!
