Such an unfriendly place. Just plane unfriendly, they don't even know what the products are. Asking questions was like pulling teeth. No one smiles, no labels on the food. They don't care if you buy anything or not. I went out my way to go to this place and it was for nothing. Just unfriendly. The women at the counter clearly did not want me in there. It was the only patisserie that was open on Christmas day, and I really wanted to love it as its close to our house. I was so disappointed, and I got these cakes for a dinner where I had guests spit out the chocolate cake because it was so old and it tasted like a fridge, and the other one pulled a toothpick out of her mouth after she took a bite. I was so embarrassed! The other 2 mousse cakes had plastic balls on top that had pointy ends, they didnt even let us know! Usually, the number 1 rule is you never put anything on food that is not edible, why would you put plastic decorative pieces, thankfully after the toothpick and old chocolate the other guests were apprehensive and stopped eating. I went in on March 8 to order a pavlova to pickup on March 22. There was a bit of miscommunication as they thought I was ordering one for that day and I thought I was putting down a deposit. The team already had the pavlova shell ready to go, so if I (or you) order one in the future, just come in day-of. There were no issues when I picked up on the 22nd. They might benefit from an online ordering form, even a Google Form, for cakes or larger desserts. The pavlova was a big hit, everyone loved the texture and flavors. Met a friend here for coffee as a half way point between our two homes and most Yelp reviews were favorable. We arrived around 11:00. Very cute decor, the pastries and cakes looked beautiful. The woman in the front of the store didn't greet us when I came in. My friend got there a bit earlier than me, so maybe she was? Anyway, she wasn't very pleasant, no smile, offer to help. I placed our order - 2 eclairs and 2 coffees. She asked " Americano?" We replied yes. That was our conversation. The eclair was a bit disappointing. It was small in size and the shell was quite hard and dry. The custardy cream filling was delicious though. Not overly sweet and very smooth. We were there for an hour and only 1 other person came in. It looked like she purchased a cake. When we left, we said thank you and no response. Granted, she was on the phone, but if this is your business and you want return customers, you need social skills. At least a smile, a wave or nod of acknowledgment. When I returned home, I looked at the receipt. I was surprised! Mind you none of the items in the showcase had prices nor was there a price list or menu posted in the store. Cute bakery off victory and I wanted to give it a try. There's a parking lot in the back. They have a nice selection of cakes, they look great. The small pastries also looked appealing, but the type that are more for looks. I tried the mango mousse, it was just ok. Not smooth enough and had a super jelly-like consistency. The hazelnut layer bar was pretty good, and so was the snickers bar, but they almost tasted 2 days old. Slightly stale. When I walked in, no one was there to greet they were in the back but came out. They're not super friendly, but not bad. I don't think I'd come back, there are other places in the valley that really have great service and tastier treats. read more

I would like to inform everyone that my guests and I were very dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the cake that was bought from this cafe. My husband bought a cake from that place yesterday, and the owner of the cafe told him that the cake with nuts was very tasty. In fact, the cake was just awful. And why didn't she just say that the flavor of the cake was caramel? It is unclear to me. The frosting was disgusting, it was just analogy of caramel cream, not more‍. It seems to me that the owner just wanted to sell this cake quickly since the cake tasted old. If you put such hight prices, please, make sure that your ingredients and the cake itself is fresh and highly qualified. It is money down the drain. People are not idiots. We will definitely not buy desserts from this place anymore. One day, this place will just close up if the stuff and the owner keep making trash. read more

We went here specifically to find a Pavlova because my husband saw them on Bluey. They had so many delicious and freshly made treats. We parked in a lot in the back where there were plenty of spots. Then we walked around to the front. We tried: The Pavlova - Delightful Pistachio cake - not our fave Napoleon - very delicious, light, and not too sweet Cream puffs - these were just ok to me Berry tart - this was quite delicious and fresh. i asked for a menu and there was none. i asked for what kind of coffees they had and the cashier gestured to the torani syrup bottles on display. ordered tiramisu and an almond latte. the milk was burned and the outside of the tiramisu was hard/crusty like it'd been sitting out all day. overall a mid experience . read more

Walked in this location tried to order a birthday cake for my wife 50th birthday. Nobody here spoke. English handed me a postcard and said call this number called that number that person didn't speak English either. I guess you need to speak Russian or Armenian or Spanish to order a cake in the San Fernando Valley anymore nobody speaks English why you even have a store you don't speak English you don't know basic words like cake, flavor, vanilla how much When no English horrible yeah it's great if you speak Russian Armenian, but if you don't, you're screwed, just whatever never ever ever trying to go here again. I suggest you take some English lessons if you wanna try and do commerce in the San Fernando Valley not everybody speaks Russian Armenian. read more

Gorgeous shop and delicious pastries! One of the best cannoli I have had in LA. We also tried a berry tart and a Snickers bar, both fantastic. Nice service. We placed an order over the phone for 4 turkey club sandwiches and were told it would take 20 minutes. We got there and although order was placed at 11:45 we didnt leave until 12:45. We get to the office and open the sandwiches to enjoy for lunch and literally all 4 of us are shocked. First off the Turkey sandwich is made with HAM! Second, the menu clearly states the sandwich comes with mozzarella and we got american cheese that's sooo runny after this sandwich was heated that we couldnt even eat it. At the end she took the order charged double 'for exclusivity' then bought the cake in the store and decorated it - AGAIN TO OUR SURPRISE VERY PRIMITIVELY!!! My girlfriend's son had a birthday last weekend and we picked a dog theme for the party. So, the cake especially was very important to complete the whole picture. I found Irina through recommendations on Facebook and ordered a cake 3 days before birthday. Irina proposed me 2 options and I decide it's better to have a dog figure on top of the cake, even if this option was more expensive. Since we have a Doberman-pincher, I asked Irina if she can do a dog in same colors as our dog. Also I asked to have some fruits inside and make a biscuit style.
