Great spot for a casual bite or a coffee. Big fan of the spanakopita and the orange cake. It is very peaceful to sit there and relax for a little bit. I noticed they sell honey. I would like to buy a jar next time to put over my breakfast yogurt.

I had such a great experience at Pi Bakery! My wife & I were invited to dinner over a coworkers home. I dropped my wife off at her hair appointment and said: while you're getting your hair done, I'll get the dessert for tonight. The couple is from Turkey so I want to bring something to their home that's familiar. My mom (rest in peace) was Greek so I'm going in that direction, Baklava! I walk into a busy cafe. I see people sitting and enjoying their breakfast. To the left is a huge selection of Greek pastries. I explain to the woman behind the counter I'm going to someone's home tonight and would like a nice assortment of pastries. She takes out a beautiful box and places various baklava in the box. The end result is a beautiful pastry assortment tied in a ribbon. Over and above what I expected. My wife? Thinks I'm the smartest man on the planet. The host was Impressed and all the pastry went. The other co workers brought flowers. Psst, get to steppin'. The end result, I looked like a rock star with the Greek pastries. Pi Bakerie, you rocked it! Opa!

This is a greek coffee shop. Alot of their pastries and food looked very good but due to my allergies I probably should not have anything. I wanted to try the freddo cap as it looked soo good in pictures. I was then told that they whipped the milk in a same blender as they do almond milk so there would be cross contamination. I was a bit sad to hear that after coming down from far uptown. But I am glad the barista warned me about this beforehand.

This Greek bakery in the SoHo area of NYC offers homemade pastries, savory pies, salads and more. I ordered almost a pound of baklava pastries and cookies for about $27. Everything was delicious.

When I am in the area, I always try to stop by this cafe. The cold brew is really good. Also, I love their Greek salad and baklava (original). You order at the cashier's area and they give it to you there. You can stay and enjoy it or you can do take out. The WiFi is fast and reliable.

Had a great lunch at Pi Bakerie today (NY, SoHo). Went with the roasted chicken over white beans and vegetables--simple, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the tomato-based beans tied everything together. High-quality, homemade food done right. Definitely a spot I'll be back to.

Got the Freddo cappuccino $6.48 and tasted pretty good ... very light and fluffy drink 4/10! Just the cream on top not thick enough for me other then that is a good coffee drink

Pi is a cute cafe space in SoHo serving up Greek specialities and coffee. The space is not very big but it's enough to hold a few tables inside, and the tall windows certainly help too. I passed by and decided to grab an iced freddo cappuccino ($5.25) which was the perfect afternoon pick me up. It was not too heavy on the ice and the milk foam was plush and creamy. Ok Bakerie also had a lot of Greek foods available like moussaka and spanakopita, which I will definitely make a note of to try next time!

Great stop for a snack, coffee, or even lunch. Space is beautifully lit with natural sunshine and has lots of cafe style seating. On today's visit I got three spinach and feta rolls for $5.50. The freshness and taste was memorable !

Super moist & delicious vasilopita! You have to special order this as this is only sold during the time before new years. My good greek friend introduced me to this many years ago. There is a gold coin in it & whomever gets the coin inside their piece of cake is supposed to get good luck in the new year. Love the idea, but this cake is to die for! They packaged the vasilopita box more festive this year!

Almond Croissant. 3 stars. IG: @amei.eats

(Overall: C) - Overall, I think this bakery is too pricey and not novel enough for me. While the quality is reasonable, there are just better or more interesting options around the area in my opinion. (Almond Croissant: C) - This is a tender version of a croissant with a sweet and nutty almond filling. I think this croissant could've benefitted from being more crispy and less pricey. (Cinnamon Roll: C) - This was a $6 cinnamon in SoHo. While I do like the firm and rigid texture and the fact that it was restrained in sweetness, I feel like something needs to be elevated to warrant such a price point. -- Food: +1 Presentation: E Price: -1 Overall: +0 C IG: @amei.eats

    Nutella Baklava

I wasn't super hungry when I went there but the good choices looked great! I bought just two little Nutella baklavas and they were so delicious! The food was definitely authentic Eastern European. The place is cute! I definitely recommend!

Expensive. especially for the quality of baclavadakia. Service very good and cooked food and salads looked good but did not taste them.

Elea has an outdoor shed which was covered and very nice. We got a table in this shed with our baby and dog. The service was friendly. We ordered several dishes to share, the fried calamari, grilled octopus and lavraki, all on the lunch menu. I really enjoyed every single dish! I was so craving the fried calamari and this really hit the spot, I loved the dipping sauce (which was a light tomato's based sauce but it was not exactly marinara). I loved the octopus especially with hummus! And the fish which was a lot with 2 fillets of lavraki with a large portion of spinach! So yummy, we will absolutely be back and can't wait!

Started with the olives, big and briny, then the spanikopita and three dips and pita. The dips, fine, nothing special, not very prettily presented, especially the fava, which was a heavy tasteless dud. The pita was cold and something you could pick up at a supermarket. But then things looked up. The grilled shrimp were plump and beautiful on a bed of salad and oranges. The mussels were delicious, with broth and tomato and feta and two big chunks of grilled bread - why couldn't they do this with the pita? Wine by the glass good and service was very nice but I think we only saw our server twice. Once was when she presented our check with the 20, 22, 25 option. But all in all it was pleasant! Lots of families if you have kids and want a nice dinner in a place that makes kids comfortable.
