We went to happy hour and I asked server what was the house bourbon and he went and asked and said some are just a couple of dollars off but did not answer my question. So I asked if Buffalo trace was and he said no it is 8 dollars. I then asked about devils creek and he said no. I did not want to go they every one since he would not give me an answer. Staying in Southlake hotel for our Anniversary, we tried this for Breakfast Sunday morning after reading good reviews. Fantastic. We had two terrific Bloody Mary's and both had Avacado Toast breakfast. Sensational!!! The only mistake we made was sitting downstairs. We were the only ones in the downstairs part of the restaurant and couldn't figure out why. Didn't really know there was a patio bar area upstairs. The waiter mentioned it when we were finished and told us to go take a look. Got off the elevator and WOW, it was packed. And a really nice patio area!! For morning/brunch it was awesome, would be way to hot in the late afternoon, but we will be back when the weather cools down for some wine on the upstairs veranda. And brunch again!!! read more

First impressions matter... Never been before to Piaf. Decided to try it during the Grapevine festival this weekend. Went in to talk to the host... was about to be seated at the bar when a second host walked up and told my wife (rudely) that she could not be in the restaurant with her glass of wine (purchased from a street vendor during the event... one or two sips left). We were both taken aback. Frankly, his tone completely turned me off to the place. We turned around and left. There are lots of options for restaurants in Grapevine and in Dallas, I will not return. I hope the management (and the ownership) pays attention to this review. The stuff matters... A lot. read more

We stumbled upon this place on Christmas Eve. We are visiting from San Diego and didn't really know where to eat and I can't believe we found this gem! The seafood pasta is maybe one of the best meals I have eaten in a very long time, my husband ordered the filet and it was equally delish. The service by Diego was so incredible, as two people that have been in the service industry most of our adult lives we were blown away when he told us he had been there a month. The atmosphere sitting on the porch and having the live music was nice. The service was slow and we had to flag help down a couple of times to place orders. One of the drinks we tried wasn't good, the food was unique and good (we were missing an item on our plate, but nobody came to ask how it was...so it didn't get brought to us). Great find in Grapevine! Menu is Mediterranean-fusion. The drink menu is so unique & fun. The table gets pita chips with tzatziki when you fit down. They offer a great selection of happy hour options, along with live music several nights each week on the upstairs patio. My husband and I love the ambiance of the upstairs patio, though it's pretty hot up there in summer. They do have fans and misters, which help make it a little more comfortable. The food is pretty good, especially the shrimp and scallops on risotto. Very fresh and tasty. My favorite thing at Piaf is the delicious dill dip and chips served to every table like chips and salsa. So delicious! Most of the time the service is really great, but on our last visit, our server was MIA, talking to co-workers near the bar. That was frustrating. read more

Can't believe it's taken me so long to find this great Mediterranean rooftop restaurant. Tables are spaced apart with open air but roof top cover block drizzle or sun while listening to sax player and enjoying great food. We had mussels which luckily only has a few small pieces of bread not to carb load me in an attempt to casually drink the sauce with it. The lamb shank was for a man size appetite and the shrimp and scallops melted in your mouth (don't judge party of 4!) We rounded it off with chocolate fondue that still has over half a pot left after dipping the small bits of fruit, marshmallows, and macaroons...yet again leaving me dreaming about no one noticing me drinking this course too but yet again my dinner etiquette course many moons ago told me to not embarrass my table mates to satisfy my urges. My friends and I had dinner at Piaf last night. The food is very good and our waiter was great. There are a couple of things that bothered me. One, we arrived during happy hour and sat inside the restaurant. The waiter told us happy hour was only available for people sitting upstairs. We are spending money on dinner but cannot get a happy hour priced drink? Very disappointed. The second thing was I ordered a salad and added falafel. Four pieces of falafel were $8.00 - wow! All-in-all, the food was good and the atmosphere is good. read more

Had a craving for some good hummus, while staying at Great Wolf Lodge. Did a pickup order. I think my waiter was Blake. He did an amazing job of bagging everything up in a very special way with attention to hot and cold. He brought it to my vehicle and was super nice. The food was so delicious!! Delicious food, excellent service. Went to dinner here for a birthday celebration. Of course due to COVID, there was a limited amount of people in there, and they resorted to the party sitting in the inside. Which honestly made the ambiance a lot better on a hot June day. Brussel sprouts were delicious, seasoned incredibly well and even a little juicy. I had the pleasure to enjoy the sea scallop with the risotto. I'm not accustomed of spending so much on a small plate but I really did enjoy the texture and the flavors that were created within the meal. read more

Do not go to Piaf Kitchen and Wine Bar!!! We were celebrating our 3rd year anniversary but the server ruined it. It was a terrible experience because the server forgot about us all night. We never received a drink refill and we were never offered a 2nd glass of wine. We had to flag down another server to get help. Our main course arrived an hour after we ordered it. It was very obvious that he totally forgot about us. We were very disappointed that we received such terrible service at such a nice place. Decided to try this out with my husband for a date night. It was horrible. I hate writing bad reviews, but paying for the food here was insulting. Really insulting- so insulting that I'm writing this review. The place looks cool with nice lighting and seating, but the food was terrible. Just terrible. Who is the cook/chef here? Over seasoned, under seasoned, over cooked, and under cooked- we experienced it all. We had the cauliflower app and while it was pretty, it just wasn't good. We've had roasted cauliflower many times at other restaurants and love it, but this was so unappetizing that we couldn't eat it. The flavors just didn't blend and the cauliflower tasted boiled. I ordered the Shish Taouk and my husband the special of the night with was lamb. The Shish Taouk was so bad I only ate a few bites. The chicken was under seasoned and over cooked, it was rubbery. The rice underneath was over seasoned with curry and all stuck together. I mean, it was actually gross. I'm not sure I've said that about a restaurant's food before. Sorry Piaf. read more

This was a hit and miss meal for me and my friends. The hummus was bland which didn't start the meal off well. I had an octopus dish that was tasty, but everyone else said their dishes were not good. Everyone at the table said they didn't like it. The only redeeming thing was the atmosphere is really nice. They have the downstairs and the upstairs which had live music. I might go back to give it a try, but I am not in a hurry. read more
