This was a hit and miss meal for me and my friends. The hummus was bland which didn't start the meal off well. I had an octopus dish that was tasty, but everyone else said their dishes were not good. Everyone at the table said they didn't like it. The only redeeming thing was the atmosphere is really nice. They have the downstairs and the upstairs which had live music. Decided to try this out with my husband for a date night. It was horrible. I hate writing bad reviews, but paying for the food here was insulting. Really insulting- so insulting that I'm writing this review. The place looks cool with nice lighting and seating, but the food was terrible. Just terrible. Who is the cook/chef here? Over seasoned, under seasoned, over cooked, and under cooked- we experienced it all. We had the cauliflower app and while it was pretty, it just wasn't good. We've had roasted cauliflower many times at other restaurants and love it, but this was so unappetizing that we couldn't eat it. The flavors just didn't blend and the cauliflower tasted boiled. I ordered the Shish Taouk and my husband the special of the night with was lamb. The Shish Taouk was so bad I only ate a few bites. The chicken was under seasoned and over cooked, it was rubbery. The rice underneath was over seasoned with curry and all stuck together. I mean, it was actually gross. I'm not sure I've said that about a restaurant's food before. Sorry Piaf. read more

PIAF KITCHEN Fun place to dine on the rooftop patio. Wonderful views of the sunset and a festive atmosphere. Was a little noisy early but calmed down after happy hour ended at 6:30. Very nice variety of flatbreads, salads and entrees. Our party of four had Harissa Chicken Flatbread, Cesar Salads, Fattoush Salad, Mussels Pastis (very good and a large serving), Mushroom Ravioli and a bottle of Tenuta Di Arceno Chianti Classico. Great customer service and great food! Waiter and manager were very accommodating to make sure that my food was vegan and it came out delicious. Table next to us accidentally spilled something on their shirt and without them asking, the (same) waiter had brought them club soda and a napkin to help with the stain. Went there for a birthday and they had tzatziki and pita chips that were very good. The atmosphere was very nice on the upper balcony. We stared with a appetizer of meatballs and they were okay but somewhat dry. The main course I had mushroom ravioli in Madeira sauce and my wife had the waygu burger. The mushroom ravioli was tough and had a chalky texture with Madeira sauce not be reduced enough. My wife order a medium well burger but it came out mid rare and trying to eat it became a mess with the bun falling apart. I don't believe we will visiting the place again. read more

What an exquisite experience! We ordered the salmon tacos, lamb shank with purple grits chateau Lebanon red blend wine, calamari and rose water creme brûlée. Although this place has been open for only 2 weeks they've mastered their menu and the food was phenomenal!!! The atmosphere is cozy and romantic.. very poshy decor.. the owner even stopped by our table to say hello. It's a very warm and welcoming family owned spot. I hope this place does well as Im looking forward to visiting again very soon! Thanks so much for such a wonderful experience! We also visited their roof top bar upstairs which was lovely. We came here after a day of wine tasting around downtown Grapevine. Live music was playing on the closed off roof top that beckoned us in. Jose is the best waiter I've ever had, if you go, you HAVE to request Jose and also request to sit on the balcony!! It's so beautiful. Went last Satirday night for a late dinner with my wife. COVID precautions are in place and the dining experience was great. Good atmosphere and service was good. My wife got the scallops and I went off the waiter's suggestion if the double cut pork chop, over risotto. I was surprised that the pork chops came out, not two bones xxv to a single piece, but 2 individual pieces. Typically, this can lead to a drier chop but it was moist and fkavorful. I finished one chop and the risotto and was full. Unfortunately by the time I got home, my stomach cramped up and started having chills. I didn't make the connection and though it might by COVID but I had a test done yesterday that came back negative. I ended up in bed for 3 days with severe food poisoning. Wife had a wonderful dinner and I did get a bite of a scallop and it was cooked perfectly. The pork chop was cooked through as the chef should have done, must of just got a bad chop. read more

We tried a few different ones and all were delicious(unfortunately i don't remember the names). Such a cute place and a great addition to grapevine Main Street! Loved the vibe and atmosphere here. The food options were all so great! We tried the hummus with lamb and the Waygu flatbread, both items were perfectly made! We luckily arrived before happy hour ended so we got to try about happy hour drink options! Ordered 2 glasses of wine & hubby almost finished his before mine ever came out. Ordered the Brussels sprout appetizer & it came out with our dinner, and tasted burnt. 50/50 flatbread was tasteless, & salmon tacos were just OK, but not very warm and rice was cold. After dinner was finished, sat for probably 15-20 minutes without anyone checking on us & wine & water glasses were all empty. Really sad, because I wanted to like it. Will not be back. read more

I ordered the lamb chops and my husband ordered the filet mignon. Lamb was cooked a little too long but was still delicious. The filet was ordered medium rare and came out well done. We did send that back and it came back out rare. My husband never sends food back but this filet still had a heart beat. The manager and owner both came out and apologized. The filet got sent back again. When they brought it back out the second time, it was perfect. We also ordered the grilled octopus, and it was delicious. Loved the atmosphere, music was good, and the staff was very attentive. We will be back and I would recommend trying this place if your looking for a new place to eat in Grapevine. read more

Made reservations for our small Christmas party and arrived an hr-ish early. We got drinks upstairs at the bar. Drinks were amazing. We got called down for dinner 15min early. We ordered the cheese board which is why they didn't get 5 stars. It was ok cheese with a small amount of meat and honey and extremely hard bread. We got lamb, oysters, tomato bisque (which was never served to us) salmon and 2 filet mingon. The ambiance is amazing. Our waiter Monty was so pleasant and informative about the dishes. Absolutely stunning, the ambience and aesthetic of this location is absolutely perfect. I made a reservation for 8 PM on Friday, we were sat down at the appropriate time. Since it was a little busier, service was slower than expected. We were visiting some friends from out of the country, so there was a lot to catch up on. The variety of cocktails was very impressive, especially their Halloween cocktails. The wahgu meatballs were absolutely delectable, I ended up getting the pork chops, and my boyfriend got the filet mignon. Both of them were beautifully cut, and absolutely amazing. On a negative note, we did have to track down our server a few times due to the slow service, but it was somewhat understandable because they were quite busy. Also had the cauliflower didn't take a picture of it, it was also bland, no seasoning. The bartender downstairs was nice an older gentleman. Drinks were good. We had been wanting to try Piaf since it opened. Made a reservation and headed over looking forward to a pre-holiday dinner. The evening got off to a bit of a rough start as our reservation was lost/not recorded and we were offered a table in the back overflow room, which has no ambiance or character, no preset tables or assigned staff....or so it seemed. After being given one menu, no water and no service we sought out the manager. Junior was terrific and immediately moved us to the main dining room, which has a warm inviting feel. From there the evening was a delight. Our server Josh was friendly, attentive and offered good recs on menu items. We shared the mushroom flatbread, which is delicious and both ordered a satisfying tomato bisque. For mains my wife ordered a panko crusted sea bass and I had the huge pork chop. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The wine list has some terrific gems at very affordable prices. Our Spanish Grenache was under $30. After dinner, we peaked upstairs at the outdoor deck bar, which is now covered and heated....what a great spot for hanging out in good weather! I know Piaf Kitchen has been around for a while but this was our first time to visit. We came Sunday afternoon for drinks and Appetizers. We sat upstairs at The Perch overlooking Main Street Grapevine. I ordered a Bacon Old Fashion, and my wife ordered Prosecco but tried my Old Fashion and agreed it was very tasty. We ordered Piquillo Peppers and Brussels Sprouts to share. Everything was excellent and the service was good. We agreed we will be back and next time try the dinner menu. read more
