    Vege Samosa (2 Pcs.)
    Adrienne H.

Probably the best indian food Ive had. I didnt sit at the restaurant but would love to dine in next time. The food was made quickly. Great customer service. I tried the vegtable samosas they were so good and a good size. I probably shouldve ordered more. The chicken tikka masala. I love that you can make it really spicy and still taste the flavor. The garlic naan was great as well. I seen they had dishes with shrimp as well. I'll definitely be back to try more.

I love coming here with my parents whenever I'm in my hometown. I love the lamb chops and saag aloo--or saag with anything--especially, but I also love the lamb vindaloo, vegetable samosas, garlic naan, and paneer naan. The lamb chops are super tender and were especially juicy and extra amazing today for some reason, although they're normally very good anyway. The saag aloo looks not that appetizing in my opinion, but it's so yummy and filled with so many spices and goes super well with basmati rice or naan, which is always super warm and soft. The lamb vindaloo is super good and definitely better than the chicken vindaloo. I also love the vegetable samosas, which are always piping hot and fresh. The owners here are so kind and friendly, and I remember feeling sad once when one of them wasn't there since he's such a jolly fella. I will say that chicken isn't my favorite thing here. Not a huge fan of the chicken tikka masala, chicken samosas, and tandoori chicken since they do seem a bit dry, but I love everything else here! It's always pretty calm and peaceful here since Danville is a quiet suburb.

I placed a big order for my job and it was very quick. I just called in and listed what I wanted and had every kind of meat along with dietary restrictions. I picked up the food and it was wrapped and sealed well! Everyone at the office loved the food, would recommend!

I had such a great experience at Pia's Kitchen in Danville. The owners were incredibly sweet and welcoming, which immediately made the place feel warm and inviting. I ordered the chicken masala and it was honestly to die for. The flavor was amazing and you can really tell the food is made with care and quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is super cute. It is not very big or overly fancy, but that honestly adds to the charm. The quality of the food and the energy inside more than make up for it. Everything felt comfortable, cozy, and full of good vibes. Definitely a spot I would come back to and recommend to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Peaceful outside patio showing the entrance.

Food is so fresh and consistently delicious! The Saag Paneer is made with Watsonville spinach and you can definitely tell the difference. Our favorite dish is the Chicken Tikka Masala...even the pickiest of children crave it! The service is fast & friendly because the owners cook/serve. The restaurant is clean and the outdoor patio is so relaxing!

Obsessed! Luckily we walked in and it wasn't busy so we were seated right away. I believe the owner was there when we arrived and he overheard us saying we wanted our tikka masala spicy. He asked us if we were sure and definitely delivered! It was so spicy but sooooo good! I loved that the spice didn't throw off the flavor profile but instead tasted like the perfect mix. The naan was huge and definitely enough for 2 but I'd suggest getting 2 rice servings for 2 people as we ran out as we were eating. Samosas were tasty but it did have to grow on me. I usually like the green sauce a lil spicier and this one wasn't so it took me awhile to get used to the flavor. We can't wait to be back and so happy we found our new fav spot!

Best Indian food I have ever had. Tiki Masala is a must have. Whenever I go there I cannot stop eating the food.

Absolutely amazing Indian food here. Came in at a Saturday lunch hour and was greeted by the friendly hostess. Ordered Tandoori chicken , Chicken Tikka masala and a garlic naan. Food came out very quickly and it was simply delicious. From tables all around they were commenting similarly. Prices are reasonable and the ambience was great. Service was attentive as necessary and very friendly. We will certainly be coming back ! Highly recommend.

Cozy little spot in a strip mall, greeted with a smile and shown a seat when we walked in at 6pm-ish on a Monday. Another couple were eating and after we walked in another family walked in. Our order was taken quickly, and our appetizer of Somosa's came out steaming hot and fast! We opted for the veggie Somosa's and they were nicely spiced and delicious. The rest of the food arrived very quickly after the appetizer. As you can see we received a lovely large portion of rice, I'll say the Chicken tikka masala was my favorite. Super flavorful, though I could go up a notch in heat/spice level. The prawn Korma which was in curry type sauce was tasty, but quite mild in flavor. Along with some naan, we had a lovely dinner that didn't break the bank. I would definitely eat here again and I'm glad to know where I can go close by for good Indian food.

Btw this was a Door Dash order and came incredibly fast and hot so service on the takeout was solid. Packaging of the food was good as well so no complaints there. I had gone by the restaurant and it looks decent, in a shopping center. But with other Indian restaurants so close, some further like the Clove (Soo good, highly recommend it) opening, Star Chaat (always solid), and Mylapore (south Indian delicious quick eats) -granted these are all veg places! -- .. this is a tough sell on the food.

We were way late for our dinner reservation but the manager, Aman(?!) was warm and welcoming. The bartender (name?) also doubled as a server. Very helpful with our cocktail orders. Extensive bar. There were six of us, so we had three appetizers, four entrees and a dessert. Impressive plating! He visited us at the table to ensure everyone was happy. Staff were still walking in, cutlery was being laid out (loudly), and nobody seemed to know if they were actually open yet. I had to approach someone myself and ask. They looked genuinely unsure until I mentioned I had a reservation, at which point we were seated - though "reluctantly" is the right word. I get that openings can be a bit chaotic, but this is meant to be a fine dining restaurant charging fine dining prices. That expectation of polish and readiness should be table stakes, not an aspiration. As for the food - the champaran mutton was the one bright spot and genuinely good. Everything else ranged from forgettable to underwhelming. For what you're paying, that's not good enough. Wouldn't rush back.

When I asked the restaurant staff, they mentioned that they are now serving Jain sambar by default instead of the original South Indian sambar, which I believe is now referred to as Ratna Cafe sambar. For me, the main reason to come here was always the dosa with that authentic South Indian sambar. Without it, the experience just does not feel the same anymore. To be fair, the staff did give me the Ratna Cafe sambar when I asked, and that tasted like what I remembered. But I was told this change was a management decision. I am not sure whether this was done for cost reasons or to appeal to a different audience, but as a customer who came here specifically for the traditional dosa and sambar experience, it was a huge disappointment. The dosas are also not cheap, and at that price, I expect to enjoy the full meal. Unfortunately, I do not feel it is worth paying a premium for dosa when the default sambar is not something I enjoy. I have had better sambar at other restaurants, but that is not what I came to Mylapore Express for. I am sad to say this may be my last visit here specifically for dosa and sambar. This restaurant had a strong reputation with me, but this change has really taken away the main reason I used to like it.
