Country Sausages & Eggs with Biscuits & Gravy Country Fried Steak & Eggs
    Kathy N.

Crumbs has a small parking lot that can get full on a busy weekend. Luckily there's other parking nearby, I parked close to the library which is less than a 5 minute walk away. I believe I showed up on a Saturday close to 12pm and had to wait 20 minutes which wasn't too bad. Lotsssss of options here, I was definitely overwhelmed but ultimately went with the biscuits & gravy which came with eggs my way, 3 sausages, and a side of my choice (I chose roasted potatoes). I also got a pitcher of mimosas and a ube coconut latte. The ube coconut latte was sweet and good prior to mixing it. Mixing it, it did taste like coffee with a hint of ube. I like sweet lattes so I prefer it premixing it. The biscuits, gravy and sausage was soooo good. I do wish the gravy was hotter, it was a bit lukewarm but still good. Eggs were eggs, potatoes were okay and I'd probably go with hash brown next time. The country fried steak was also good! Portions were definitely huge and fulfilling. I'd definitely come back! Theres also indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were great. Menus were provided on a tablet or you can scan the QR code on the table.

And THOSE plates look like they made up for the first place! That French toast situation is ridiculous. I'd absolutely mention the contrast without naming or trashing the other restaurant in Crumb's review. It actually makes their kindness stand out more. We came to Crumb after having an unpleasant experience at another restaurant nearby, and I have to say--the difference in hospitality was immediate. I was already a little on edge when we walked in, but from the moment we arrived, everyone at Crumb was kind, welcoming and smiling. Our server was wonderful, attentive and made us feel completely comfortable. It was exactly the kind of service we needed after the experience we'd just had. And then the FOOD came! Everything looked amazing and tasted just as good. We had everything from steak and eggs and waffles to a breakfast burrito and the most over-the-top French toast loaded with strawberries, bananas and chocolate. The portions were generous, everything came out beautifully, and our table was very happy. Great food is important, but how you make people feel matters too. Crumb did both exceptionally well today. Thank you for turning our morning around. We will absolutely be back.

We were in San Ramon, California and needed breakfast. I went on Yelp to find a local place that would be to our liking and expectations. Crumbs showed up and the reviews were very promising. We had it over and were seated right away. There are so many things on this menu and the vibe here is pretty welcoming. I do love the design of the place, as they have a lot of colorful umbrellas similar to "chandeliers" in the ceiling and it makes it feel really light and happy to dine under them. We ordered brunch items and they were great. The customer service is wonderful. They have daily specials and I highly recommend them. It is a chance to try their signature items on special days.

Came here for lunch with my office to celebrate a birthday. Service was friendly but a bit slow. The room did not look particularly full - maybe our group and three-four others inside but it took 30 minutes+ after ordering to be served. Interior was your typical, clean, spacious breakfast/brunch vibe. Nothing special to note. The food itself was good. My green chilaquiles were delicious and the eggs were cooked well. The steak left some precision to be desired however in terms of the accuracy of the cook temp. Overall, I would come back though because I enjoyed my meal and there were so many other menu items I was interested in trying.

Our happy place on a Saturday for breakfast You can eat at the bar- get a table and enjoy the large menu. Good options and great choices . Lots of love of food here . The service is attentive with good suggestions . It's cute , clean and easy seating - comfortable rather... well worth the wait. It can get busy- so don't expect it won't be - so plan ahead

First time at Crumbs in Danville after hearing about it for years, and it completely lived up to the hype. Hands down my new favorite breakfast spot in the Tri-Valley! They also have a location up in Pleasant Hill. Took an old colleague out for his birthday on a Friday. We got there a bit early on Friday to beat the rush, which was a good move because the place was packed by lunchtime. The staff was super welcoming and sat us in a great booth right away. There is also an outdoor dining area right in front too. Their menu is huge, but I had to go with my usual benchmark dish: the chicken fried steak. It came out huge, with three over-easy eggs, hash browns, and toast. Amazing gravy on top, it was delicious. My friend loved his pancakes and bacon, and the rest of the table's food (kids' plain cheeseburger with fries and French toast) looked awesome too. Big shoutout to the staff for helping me pull off a birthday surprise, too! I dropped off a cake with the host beforehand, and they brought it out at the end with a candle, played music over the speakers, and got everyone around us to sing along. It was hilarious and such a fun, special moment. Thank you! Service was super attentive, friendly, and welcoming. My coffee cup was never empty which left me fully caffeinated by the time we left. Will definitely be back!

This has become one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots. It's always packed so I recommend a reservation. I haven't had a bad experience yet with their food or service. Fast service and anything you get on their menu is delicious!

Huge variety of selection, so really great spot for large groups! If weather permits, choose to sit outside, as the area is super cute. They also offer bottomless mimosas on select days. Everything we ordered was great, honestly, and the portions are generous! The service is ok, even on slow days (we've been here on a Wednesday afternoon and a Saturday afternoon).

My friend and I stopped by Crumbs for a quick meal on our way to Costco in Danville and what a great stop it proved to be! It is packed on the weekends and their small parking lot can be full depending on what time you get here, but there's plenty of parking along the streets so it wasn't difficult to find a spot. We did join the Yelp Waitlist ahead of time and still had about a 15-20 minute wait which was fine. They have a few seats outside and inside for those who are waiting. The menu is extensive and it was somewhat tough to figure out exactly what I was hungry for and I ultimately settled for their country fried chicken Benedict because where else have you seen such a combo? The food came out in a timely manner and it was probably one of the rare times that I actually finished all my food. Overall, they were busy but we still got good service, food was delicious, and I'd be down to stop by again when I'm in the area.

    Chile Verde Steak Omelet

Came here for a little birthday brunch with my daughter and my sister. My sister ordered a Chile Verde steak omelette. Unfortunately, when she opened the omelette, there was absolutely no meat inside. We informed the waiter and they were kind enough to bring her a bowl. They did apologize. It was 100° outside and it was hot inside the restaurant, it was more cooler in the restroom inside the restaurant.

    Tenders or Bricks!

Ordered their Nashville Chicken Tenders with fries... they turned out to be hard as bricks due to their heavy batter. Rather "hard" way to enjoy tenders to say the least. Service was great.

After a gorgeous hike, we headed to Crumbs in Danville The menu was a little overwhelming in a good way everything looked so good. I was really craving the half Benny crab, but they mentioned it's only available on weekdays. I don't usually do huge breakfasts, so I went with the Crumbs breakfast burrito. My three friends ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, chicken sammich, carnitas Benedict, and the chilaquiles. Portions were HUGE--we definitely didn't finish everything. The coconut latte was a hit The lemon ricotta pancakes weren't as fluffy as expected, but honestly all the meals were still amazing. We left stuffed. Very heavy on heavy but if you're starving after a hilly 4-mile hike... this is the spot.

This is a quaint little restaurant. We decided to try it coming home from vacation in Monterey. This was an excellent choice. The food was great. I had New York steak and eggs. Lisa had chicken and waffles. Ramon was our waiter. He was very attentive.

The chicken sliders were good too, unexpectedly filling, while the chicken wings were unfortunately too salty to eat. Don't skip the green beans, they were delicious! We also had three different deserts and none of them disappointed (I do wish the lemon meringue had a regular pie or shortbread crusts). For drinks, my friend had a nonalcoholic cocktail that was delicious. A couple of us tried the guava cider--it wasn't my favorite, but it was light and refreshing on a hot day.
