El Jefe Chimi-quiles NY Steak & Eggs

Came here for lunch with my office to celebrate a birthday. Service was friendly but a bit slow. The room did not look particularly full - maybe our group and three-four others inside but it took 30 minutes+ after ordering to be served. Interior was your typical, clean, spacious breakfast/brunch vibe. Nothing special to note. The food itself was good. My green chilaquiles were delicious and the eggs were cooked well. The steak left some precision to be desired however in terms of the accuracy of the cook temp. Overall, I would come back though because I enjoyed my meal and there were so many other menu items I was interested in trying.

We were in San Ramon, California and needed breakfast. I went on Yelp to find a local place that would be to our liking and expectations. Crumbs showed up and the reviews were very promising. We had it over and were seated right away. There are so many things on this menu and the vibe here is pretty welcoming. I do love the design of the place, as they have a lot of colorful umbrellas similar to "chandeliers" in the ceiling and it makes it feel really light and happy to dine under them. We ordered brunch items and they were great. The customer service is wonderful. They have daily specials and I highly recommend them. It is a chance to try their signature items on special days.

Ordered their Nashville Chicken Tenders with fries... they turned out to be hard as bricks due to their heavy batter. Rather "hard" way to enjoy tenders to say the least. Service was great.

Our happy place on a Saturday for breakfast You can eat at the bar- get a table and enjoy the large menu. Good options and great choices . Lots of love of food here . The service is attentive with good suggestions . It's cute , clean and easy seating - comfortable rather... well worth the wait. It can get busy- so don't expect it won't be - so plan ahead

First time at Crumbs in Danville after hearing about it for years, and it completely lived up to the hype. Hands down my new favorite breakfast spot in the Tri-Valley! They also have a location up in Pleasant Hill. Took an old colleague out for his birthday on a Friday. We got there a bit early on Friday to beat the rush, which was a good move because the place was packed by lunchtime. The staff was super welcoming and sat us in a great booth right away. There is also an outdoor dining area right in front too. Their menu is huge, but I had to go with my usual benchmark dish: the chicken fried steak. It came out huge, with three over-easy eggs, hash browns, and toast. Amazing gravy on top, it was delicious. My friend loved his pancakes and bacon, and the rest of the table's food (kids' plain cheeseburger with fries and French toast) looked awesome too. Big shoutout to the staff for helping me pull off a birthday surprise, too! I dropped off a cake with the host beforehand, and they brought it out at the end with a candle, played music over the speakers, and got everyone around us to sing along. It was hilarious and such a fun, special moment. Thank you! Service was super attentive, friendly, and welcoming. My coffee cup was never empty which left me fully caffeinated by the time we left. Will definitely be back!

This has become one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots. It's always packed so I recommend a reservation. I haven't had a bad experience yet with their food or service. Fast service and anything you get on their menu is delicious!

My friend and I stopped by Crumbs for a quick meal on our way to Costco in Danville and what a great stop it proved to be! It is packed on the weekends and their small parking lot can be full depending on what time you get here, but there's plenty of parking along the streets so it wasn't difficult to find a spot. We did join the Yelp Waitlist ahead of time and still had about a 15-20 minute wait which was fine. They have a few seats outside and inside for those who are waiting. The menu is extensive and it was somewhat tough to figure out exactly what I was hungry for and I ultimately settled for their country fried chicken Benedict because where else have you seen such a combo? The food came out in a timely manner and it was probably one of the rare times that I actually finished all my food. Overall, they were busy but we still got good service, food was delicious, and I'd be down to stop by again when I'm in the area.

Review #1,004 Posted on 2.26.26 We came here for breakfast in between State Cup games in Danville on Saturday the 21st. This place was packed. This place sits right at the corner of a main road there in Danville, I'm blanking on the name right now. There's plenty of seating inside, and also ample seating outside too. Now this menu seemed insanely big. What they do is you scan the QR code with your phone camera like many places do, this one though almost has a menu of the menu of sorts. Basically first thing you see is the categories of the food options they have, then when you hit breakfast for example, they have all the different types of breakfast items. They breakdown the menu that way, simplify it really, but also with a ton to choose from. I ended up getting the chile verde omelette as it was the first time I had ever seen that. Man was it good, added a touch of hot sauce to go with it, and it came with chunks of grilled steak inside too, super grubbin. We'll be back here for sure when in Danville area again for a soccer tourney.

After a gorgeous hike, we headed to Crumbs in Danville The menu was a little overwhelming in a good way everything looked so good. I was really craving the half Benny crab, but they mentioned it's only available on weekdays. I don't usually do huge breakfasts, so I went with the Crumbs breakfast burrito. My three friends ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, chicken sammich, carnitas Benedict, and the chilaquiles. Portions were HUGE--we definitely didn't finish everything. The coconut latte was a hit The lemon ricotta pancakes weren't as fluffy as expected, but honestly all the meals were still amazing. We left stuffed. Very heavy on heavy but if you're starving after a hilly 4-mile hike... this is the spot.

I finally got to try Crumbs in person. Some food just don't travel well, so having the food just as it is served makes a lot of difference. This place is very popular, so expect a wait if you're coming during a weekend morning. They are very efficient though, and manage the waitlist well. The interior is very inviting with colorful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. The servers are attentive and regularly fill water glasses and coffee mugs. BTW, their coffee is really good. Their menus are on iPads, and it's very extensive. They pretty much cover all breakfast items, sandwiches, bowls, burritos, etc. It's really hard to decide with so many options, so we got some of everything. What we ordered: + California Eggs Benny - eggs Benedict with avocados and bacon with a side of hash browns. This is quite good with runny eggs and lots of toppings. Hash browns could have been crisper though. + Waffle Combo - waffles with eggs your way and bacon. Everything was really good. + Chicken and Waffles - their waffles are amazing. There's a sweetness, so maple syrup isn't necessary. The chicken was very crispy, a bit flat, but still tasted good + Crepe a la Christophe - homemade crepes with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella. Way too sweet for me, but the kiddos liked it. Overall, a great place for breakfast no matter what you're craving.

Have come here many times for brunch. Great spot with lots of good options and decently priced. You can join the waitlist ahead of time to reduce the wait but they are usually very busy on the weekends. Service is usually okay but we went on a Sunday morning and it was very slow. I think they forgot one of our orders and it came out so late we had to take it to go since everyone at our table finished eating already. Food has lots of great choices that can't go wrong: omelette, eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, breakfast burrito are some of my favorites. The cotton candy mimosa flight is unique also.

This place has it all! Great food, vibes, and excellent service all around. Our waiter was super attentive and consistently checked up on us. I got the; Chicken and waffles - Chicken was nice and moist still. Seasoned to near perfection and the waffle was actually super crispy! All drizzled under their house made syrup, you can't go wrong with it at all. Crumbs and All Omelet - This omelet literally did have it all! Stuffed with bacon, ham, cheese, and topped with avocado with a side of toast and hashbrowns, this dish was crazy hearty. I almost couldn't finish it! All in all, excellent place for breakfast, brunch, food in general and whatever meal you decide to eat, this place gets it right!

I love Ube and was so happy this place offered Ube waffles! My first time at this restaurant to eat breakfast with a friend. She ordered the Nashville Chicken and Waffle. She gives me a piece of Chicken to try, it was delicious! I give her a piece of Ube waffle to try and she loved it. I can't wait to come back and try other items. We came around 9am, by the time we were done eating around 10am, this place was getting packed. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes. There is a bar here and the atmosphere is relaxing and awesome.

I am vegetarian and have eaten at many vegetarian restaurants over the years. I would confidently say that Blossom and Root is the best vegetarian restaurant in the Bay Area and it may be my favorite restaurant hands down. Food: Key to a great restaurant is consistency. The food and dishes are consistently great at Blossom and Root over many visits. I have tried the Smash burger, yellow curry, Mediterranean bowl, french toast, pancakes, chilaquiles, breakfast burrito and several other dishes. Yellow curry is my hands down favorite but honestly no dish has ever disappointed. Every dish is always very freshly prepared. You can tell. They have a kids menu as well. Kids will also love the "experience" of the Butterfly bubbles drink! Just try it! Ambiance: Cute restaurant with a modern craftsmen kitchen feel. It feels like you are eating at the home of a friend with a nice house. Casual vibe that is kid friendly. Service: Servers and staff are always very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it can get slow for attention when they get busy.

It was about 1/4 cup quinoa and millet and more tangerine oranges than grains. Look at the difference of portion sizes from our experience vs Yelp photos. I felt this was inadequate and asked for more grains. I got a 1/2 cup of extra quinoa (only). Tofu scramble and pancakes (adult and kid versions) were good. The server tried to insinuate that the adult pancakes weren't enough, but they were more than enough. We also ordered one orange juice for a child (paper cup with a copper straw jammed through the opening) and hot tea. Honest review, it was overpriced and moderately good. I would not return; quality and value for 3 adults and 1 child was not worth $100+ including tip. Hope they consider my feedback to improve; this place has great potential.

I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat something whether it be breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or dessert. The quality of the honey toast was unlike anything I have ever had before. It was life-changing and also served beautifully. I can't believe I've gone my whole life without having the honey toast from here. The strawberry milk float was perfect and complimented the meal so well. I actually don't believe that I could ever get better service or better toast from somewhere ever again. Whenever I need to satisfy my toast cravings I will always come here and only come here. I would work here if I could because of how amazing this place is and how friendly everyone was. I hope this place opens up more locations and soon, because it's not possible for this place to be so hidden when it's just that good.
