I've been going to the Pic since high school for wings. On half days we would make the 45 minute trek out into the pine barrens to experience the best wings on earth. The Pic has the best wings around, hands-down. It's totally worth the drive from Philly or even up from the shore. I highly recommend ordering a dog bowl full of "spicy" wings, which are just the right amount of hotness mixed with a little sweetness as well. They also count 1 wing as being the drum and flapper, so 50 wings at Pic's is like 100 wings in most other bars and restaurants. The waitresses and bartenders are also extremely friendly and nice. It's pretty rare that I order anything here other than the wings because I love them so much, but any time I've ordered a sandwich, appetizer, or entrée it has also been great. Brought my son there for the first time and he's huge into wings. He ordered the garlic parmesan wings and said they were the best he's ever had. Our waitress was amazing and took very good care of us as well. We also had these small deep fried corn balls and they came with a light dipping sauce that had maple flavor... amazing! My dinner was the meatloaf and mashed potatoes that came with a side of brown sauce that was perfect. My only complaint was the onion rings were a little over cooked but considering the rest of the meal was a 10 I really didn't care. We will be back!!! read more

I consider myself fortunate to live close to to the Pic - but even if I had a long drive it'd still be worth it. The best wings (all their other food is excellent as well, it's just that wings are my favorite food of all time) - great service, awesome selection of beers and cocktails, and a great atmosphere to boot. I love sampling some of their special seasonal drinks - they make an awesome blueberry cocktail from fresh local blueberries when in season. Its a Saturday night and my sister is celebrating her husbands 50th birthday at Pic-A-Lilli Inn with a party of 14. I have driven by this place numerous times on route 206 and never stopped in because it was not that inviting. I pull up and the parking lot is packed, however I got a good front spot in a mud puddle LOL and watched my tire shine slowly disappear. I walked in to a large bar with room tables on either side. The dress code was jeans and Camouflage. Our table was ready so we sat. After asking the hostess who was very nice and the waitress what they were known for, both answered buffalo wings. The party started off with 50 wings, fried corn bread balls and fried scallops. The corn bread was very good, the scallops to me were just a tad under cooked and the wings were normal, with nothing to write home about. Now in their defense they have several flavors of wings but ours were just mild buffalo sauce. The Menu has numerous selections and I ordered the BBQ Burger which is an 8 oz. burger with coleslaw, pulled pork and cheddar cheese along with french fries. You have two choices getting the burgers done, pink or no pink lol. My meal came out and the burger was done correctly. I could not see and pulled pork under the cheese however I did taste its sweetness along with the cool feeling of coleslaw from the bottom. After I sat for a while and people watched I realized the atmosphere is very relaxing and I felt like I was at a family dinner just chilling. Our waitress was very nice and professional along with a very polite and respectful bus boy. All in all the Inn was a nice change for me and the food was good. If i need to eat again down in South Jersey and in the area, I will definitely return. read more

Hands down the best wing sauce I've ever had. I always order the 'tails' (chicken tenders) but they also come in the wings (bone-in) and ears (cutlet) variety. Though by far my favorite is the buffalo scallops. Not something you would typically find, but definitely tasty! The crab soup and crab bread are OUTSTANDING, so I highly recommend sharing some of them with your table. Food is fresh and service is speedy. Their portion sizes are great for the price. I recommend getting a sampler or combo and sharing with the table. For me the spicy sauce (of the mild, spicy, hot and smokers) is plenty spicy for me, but I've ventured into the hot a time or two and can tolerate it. Full bar available with good variety. Atmosphere is a little daunting upon arrival, but you'll find both the staff and the locals very friendly. read more

I am very sad that I ordered 50 wings and no blue cheese dressing or celery. I have been there multiple times and never had this problem. I have always given them a 4-5 stars. Our first time riding our bike to Picalilli. Nice night for a ride and some yummy food. There is an outdoor small bar/music area for those who want to have a drink and chill. This is that place that should be allowed to get 10 stars. Hands down the best wings I have ever had. I drive here all the way from Langhorne, PA for the wings. I used to work in restaurants and would try my best to get my wings to taste like theirs and I never could. The waitresses are super nice but to be honest, they could make fun of me and throw the food at me and I'd still drive all the way there . I used to frequent the Pic quite a few years ago. I believe it changed hands, (i think maybe a family member took over) and began to go downhill. The wings used to be the best in size and sauce, but than they started to shrink and barely any meat on bones, which is why I had stopped going. Came here for lunch on a Saturday after staying in AC for the night. The service was really good and everyone was really attentive and friendly. The food was also pretty good and the prices were reasonable. In my opinion, their "spicy medium sauce" wasn't really close to spicy so if you are a fan of spicy, get the hottest sauce possible. This is a fantastic local spot. We each got the wings after reading the reviews and they were great. Each wing is a full wing (most places would say it's two wings because it's the wing and drumstick) so it's a good value for the price. The sauces all taste homemade. We tried the mild and the spicy, we preferred the spicy because it was more flavorful. We also ordered a side of the garlic Parmesan sauce which was packed with flavor. Another thing we especially enjoyed was the homemade blue cheese, if your order doesn't come with it, it's worth the extra 50 cents. We also each ordered a beer that was perfectly chilled on a hot summer day. We take off a star because we tried a small portion of the scallops and found them disappointing, definitely stay with the wings. And we wish they backed the sauce into the wings, instead of just pouring it on top, that would take it up to five stars. Overall, the place has wonderful food and atmosphere complete with local acoustic music. We would love to visit again. read more

we have driven by this place a number of times going to a c and after reading about their wings we made the stop. it was well worth it! it was a monday so it's bogo. (by one get one). and if you think that wings can't fill you up you are sadly mistaken. the sauce is pretty much like everyone else's but the chicken has a different flavor. it actually HAS flavor! maybe because the chickens are kosher has something to do with it. met bonnie who is the fifth generation owner of the place and she could not have been any more welcoming! the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. inside is a fireplace and a fish tank and a pool table that only adds to the comfortable ambience this is a local place and most of the patrons the staff knew by name and habits. the tvs were on to local stations, sport chanel's, and news and business. the best part is that tap beers were served in a frosted glass. i had a modelo negro draft and my husband had yeunling draft of course we had to have two! i had the buffalo wing basket and my husband the 5 ears that came with 5 wings because of the bogo. plus the four beers and our total came to $31 not including tip there is an outside area with picnic tables and an outdoor bar which wasn't open on monday but looks like it would be a lot of fun when it's open. we won't be passing up this place again and will keep it on our party route to ac! read more

They have a great friendly staff, fast service, the best wings bar-none and to top it off....they do it all with great prices. We went here on a Friday afternoon. The place was not full yet, so you would expect pretty attentive service, but we got the opposite. The waitress was quick to take our order, but did not check back very often. We had to ask the hostess to get our waitress a few times. She also did not tell us about the bogo special for wings even though we ordered a wing platter. If we had know about the wing bogo we would have just ordered them instead of the platter. A friend joined us and we told him about the special and he ordered it. He asked for mild and we got hot because the wait staff picked up the wrong order. The Pics wing sauce is worth a trip to South Jersey no matter where you live. I have lived in Philadelphia for a few years now, and I have not found a wing that could even relate to Pic's wings. The tavern is nothing to even mention. Hell, buy them from the little truck they bring to fairs. They will still be superior to any wings you can find in any "Gastropub". Be warned there is probably a stick of butter per ten wings in the sauce....but heart transplants are pretty common these days. So set your GPS and go to the sticks for some wings, I have a feeling it won't be your only trip. read more
