Most of the items are seafood, but they do have wings and other American food options. There is a entry fee during hours that bands are performing. My husband I enjoyed a night out on Picassos. It was our first time visiting and we arrived around 8:25pm. We were pleased to find out that they offered complimentary entries before 8:30pm. Although it was a Saturday night and the parking lot was already full, we were able to get seated near the bar in bartop seating. The hostess was nice and had a very pleasant personality. The server that we had was very nice too. I ordered the Bahama Mama and my husband ordered the Walk Me Down. Usually I try to stay away from "fruity" drinks, but these drinks were on point!! I ordered the shrimp and grits and hubby ordered the salmon with the loaded potatoes and asparagus. The presentation of the shrimp and grits was nice and it was a pretty good dish. Came here on a Thursday night with 2 of the homies for the live Jazz and just to kick it. It looks like it's a famous "girls' night out" spot because there were several groups of ladies chilling and having a great time. The space looked pretty new, not very established and there was a lot of wasted space, but it was clean. Our server was... well... almost clueless. She didn't know answers to most of what we asked. They were also out of 2 of the beers which they carry. The band was supposed to start playing at 7pm, but they came in right around that time and didn't start the set until 8pm. The music was pretty good, but in my (personal) opinion, the volume was too loud. It was difficult to hear the other people at the table talking and at some points I literally had to plug my ear. I feel like jazz shouldn't be 'night-club-level' loud. Otherwise, the food was really good! I had the shrimp and grits. It was a really big serving which ensures I had enough for lunch the next day, so yay! I also had the wings which had a special name for the flavor but to me they tasted like mild bufflo flavor. We visited last Sunday for an event. I was surprised at the inside space. It was spacious and allowed us to sit comfortably and not worry about others being too close. The sound system was great. The bartender in training was friendly and talked with us while preparing drink orders. There are pre-made cocktails, or you can select something else as they have a good selection of liqueurs available. There is ample parking available right our front. Came to Picassos for a brunch event. There was plenty of parking as this establishment is in a strip mall area. We were greeted promptly and shown to seating. We were there early so we got to choose good seating. Tyne bar was open and stocked. There were 2 bartenders there to serve us and there was more than 1 juice option for mimosas which is always a plus. Brunch was served buffet style with the exception of the omelette that was made to order. The staff served us. We were given the choices which I am a huge fan of given my food allergies. There was also an array of desserts and a fruit cup which we took and put some in our mimosas. The waiter we had was awesome. He always came to check on us or give us updates which was greatly appreciated given how busy he was. The manager came over to check on us as well as the DJ. Made reservations online two weeks ago - get to Picasso on the scheduled date/time and the staff claimed they didn't have a reservation in my name. I showed the confirmation, they started side conversations and said we had to have on all black and the people in my group that didn't have on black had to pay $40. Then the staff said we needed a ticket but I explained to them when I made the reservation it didn't give me an option to purchase tickets. Will absolutely never come here again. A server spilled an entire tray of drinks on my friend and I and in her food. We asked for a manager and 40 minutes later he came over and asked , "What do you want me to do about it?" After going back and forth for several minutes, he offered to take a whole 15% off our check to make amends for all the red stains on our clothes. No apologies. Just 15% off the check and an attitude. Worse experience ever! I won't go into detail about the 40 minute wait to get in once they opened or how overwhelmed our server was because they didn't have enough servers.
