The quality of their ingredients is outstanding -- easily some of the best I've had. My go-to order is the Bianca pasta paired with their delicious tomato soup, and it never disappoints. I'm thrilled they opened a location near my home because there is one by my work. Their happy hour offers some fantastic deals, making it even better. The service has been consistently excellent, especially the manager -- he really makes sure every guest is well taken care of. As the theme goes for this month, I've been redeeming my birthday rewards. I signed up for Picazzo's through the Toast app and they generously offered $10 for my birthday and $10 for signing up, so I had a generous $20 to spend. I was torn between ordering pizza or pasta but I ended up choosing my initial preference: the spicy Thai peanut quinoa bowl ($17). This comes with broccoli, carrots, quinoa, purple cabbage, peas, spicy Thai peanut sauce, coconut milk, chili flakes, and topped with chilled sriracha slaw and cilantro. I added chicken for $5 to make it a complete meal. It was easy ordering from the app but they don't let you choose a pickup time. It just gives you an estimate (25 minutes for me), so I ordered when I knew I'd arrive at that time. They have a few dedicated spots for the restaurant and it's on the corner of the shopping center, so there's plenty of parking. The patio was so cute and I could see it being popular in the evenings and cooler months. I picked up my order from the hostess and it was quick and easy. The food itself tasted pretty good! I was glad to see plenty of sauce; no fun to have dry dishes. I like the spiciness of the slaw and the peanut flavor, as well as the veggies and quinoa. And so much cilantro, yum. Because there was so much sauce, I'd recommend eating it with some plain rice or bread to balance the flavors. Overall this was a good choice for lunch. They do have lunch specials that looked enticing. Though on the pricier side, it was a great deal with the rewards and I'd like to try some of their other menu items in the future. read more

Yeah! A good restaurant close to our home. We have been a fan of Picazzos for a few years now. We think the HH has some good value for both cocktails and food. We like the fact that the cocktails taste the same whether you are at Arrowhead, Scottsdale, or this new one on Happy Valley. That shows some great training and management. They remodeled the space smartly. The restaurant is comfortable and modern. The music level is perfect. Brie gave us great service at the bar. We enjoyed the wings and some pizza. The wings are crispy and are seasoned spot on. I hope this location succeeds. It's really good for us. read more

We tried Picazzo's and honestly... for only being open about two weeks, they are already crushing it. The service was great right from the start, super friendly and on top of everything without being overbearing. And the food? So good. The wings were bomb diggity (yes, that good). We asked for them extra crispy and they actually delivered, which you don't always get. They also have this Italian seasoning on them that takes them up another level. We ordered two Phoenix drinks, one with grapefruit and one with just club soda and both were really refreshing and light. It all had that "clean eating but still delicious" vibe, which I love. For dinner, we had the chicken parmesan and I'm obsessed with how customizable everything is. I swapped the pasta for zoodles and traded the veggies for broccoli, and it still felt hearty but not heavy at all. And can we talk about their "healthy hour"? It's daily from 3-6 and the prices are honestly incredible. Such a good deal for the quality you're getting. We'll definitely be back this place is already a favorite. read more

If you decide to give this place a try, temper your expectations. It is a healthier choice compared to traditional Italian, but not everything on the menu is actually healthy. They offer quite a few vegan options, some gluten-free choices, and the menu itself is very well laid out. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff is friendly. That said, the food, in my experience, falls into the subpar category. The turkey meatballs were dry and not generously sized for the $13 price tag. You get three meatballs, each smaller than a golf ball, with sauce and what was described as ricotta cheese, though it was really only about a teaspoon used more as a garnish than as any meaningful part of the appetizer. The sauce was acidic and mediocre at best. The pizzas were interesting, but not in a good enough way to win me over. I cannot completely put my finger on it, but the cheese did not seem like a high-grade mozzarella by any stretch. The dough does appear to be made in-house. It rises nicely around the outside, but the inside stays very flat, thin, and soggy. It will not hold up to wetter toppings, grease, or even a fold. And for a place marketed as a healthy Italian option, offerings like pepperoni, salami, and ham are not exactly what I would call healthy. All in all, I would put it in the category of a place I could tolerate if my gluten-free, vegan daughter-in-law really wanted to go there and was excited about it. I could go, stomach it, and keep my mouth shut. But it is not a place I would personally invite someone to lunch. Honestly, I would be surprised if it lasts read more

We are huge Picazzos fans and were waiting for this location to open. We probably should have waited for a few extra weeks to drop by. Tonight was a tough one for the team, our order was not entered in the system and the staff acted as if we bothered them when we asked for updates. When we finally got our order it had been sitting for a long time and it was cold. It's apparent that this location needs more staff and someone to lead that staff. We will be back but we will definitely give them several months to get things order. read more

Tried this new location cause it's close to our house. We've been to the one at arrowhead a few times. It took over for humble pie. We just had pizza. So I ordered chicken parmigiana with rigatoni. The chicken was dry (like it was a day old and reheated. with very little sauce. (I had to ask my server for a side of marinara). And the rigatoni was mushy. Which isn't easy to do. It was a shame because I usually order chicken parm when I want good Italian comfort food. This was a big disappointment. Stick with pizza and salad at picazzos. Ya know who makes a great chicken Parm ? Sicilian Butcher! Now, my wife got the chicken piccata and although I didn't taste hers she said it wasn't what she had hoped for. Very disappointed. I ordered a chicken Caesar and what I received was bagged romaine that was a little brown, premade chicken and bagged Parmesan cheese. The chicken looked identical to my Costco chicken pack snacks I buy. Parmesan could have at least been shaved. I didn't even bother eating it. Went straight in the trash. Waste of $20 and a waste of my time. I'm sure they must make something fresh but I'm not about to waste more money to find out. I ordered a few items for take-out on Mothers' Day. I arrived at the pick-up time and was told it would be a few more minutes. I waited an additional 15 minutes for my order which was fine, I understand it's Mothers' Day and it's busy. I got everything home (3 minutes away) and the food was lukewarm, soggy, and one item was incorrect. Likely scenario is it was done on time, but no one informed the front house and it sat there getting cold while I waited--at least that what I assume from the cautioned whispers between the hostess and a server as they were packing up my order. Anyway, I'm disappointed but am giving some grace because it was a busy holiday. read more

Had high hopes as we typically love picazzos but left very disappointed. We understand this location is new and there will be growing pains so hopefully they'll improve but this experience was rough. The service was slow, we were not asked if we had any allergies as is the norm at other locations, our waitress never came back after food was delivered to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. Never seen her again until she brought the check. My husbands water came with a large chunk of what looked like rotten lettuce floating in the ice, waitress did apologize when we pointed it out and brought fresh water. We ordered the slice and salad for lunch and were very disappointed. I have higher expectations of picazzos and that does not include a significant amount of brown lettuce and stale croutons in both salads. The slices were par but nothing special. Husband said it felt like a school cafeteria quality. Also the wait staff seem to have issues with one another as I watched one seemingly on purpose almost hit another with a door and mumble something about her and walk away. We've eaten twice now, once in person and once to go. This location isn't very big inside, but neither was the Humble Pie that used to be here. I have many food allergies and had been very impatiently waiting for this location to open. All in all, it went well and I'm ecstatic they're here. We went in person on just the second day of opening, with realistic expectations that things probably wouldn't go absolutely perfectly. Service was a little clunky and the food took a long time to come out. But the food was hot and tasted delicious, just as good as the Arrowhead location. I'd much rather the food taste good and take a little longer than rush it and quality be lacking. For the to go order, we called the order in because I wanted a dessert, which wasn't available for online ordering. While my husband did have to wait a little bit for the food once he arrived, the wait was less than what it would have been for online ordering. Food was still great when taking it to go. My only feedback here would be to add desserts to online ordering so we don't have to call in the future. It was pretty loud when calling and we had a hard time hearing the lady taking our order over the phone. Bottom line, I'm very happy to have a Picazzo's right around the corner and I'm sure the little kinks will be worked out very quickly! read more

We ordered carry out of their Italian seasoned wings (think it used to be called "original"), the puttanesca pizza, meatballs, and the turkey lasagna, and it was all delicious!
