I did not go into this location but my company ordered a mix of sandwiches. Each of the sandwiches are great portions and came with "mixed chips" . I dont think there was a complaint in the bunch! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wildflower Bread Company at Deer Valley Town Square offers a warm, inviting atmosphere and consistently tasty food, and I want to acknowledge that first.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean, the staff are generally friendly, and the menu has a nice variety of fresh options that make it a pleasant place to sit down for breakfast or lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But the Classic Egg Breakfast with mushy home fried potatoes and lack of bacon did not support their reputation for great food that I have come to expect. That said, I was disappointed by a specific issue with their advertised "A Classic: Egg Breakfast" meal. The promotional photo on the tabletop card clearly shows bacon as part of the meal, but when my order arrived, bacon was not included, and I had to pay extra for it. When I mentioned the discrepancy, the young lady at the register simply replied, "I did not take the photo," and the manager said, "I have already reported this issue to corporate." While I appreciate that it may be a corporate marketing issue, the end result for the customer is misleading advertising. What makes this more frustrating is that all of the other meals seemed to include exactly what was pictured on the promotional card--except for the bacon with this particular breakfast meal. I still enjoy Wildflower and will likely return for the quality of the food and overall experience, but I hope they correct this picture/description mismatch soon or honor what's depicted so that guests aren't surprised with extra charges for items shown in the photo. read more

We popped into this location on our way to Flagstaff, and it was a great stop. We ordered our meal ahead of time to save time during the lunch rush. This location was similar to a Panera, with soup, sandwiches, salad, and pastries available, there are also pasta dishes available after 3pm. Everything we ordered was solid and tasty, but nothing was mind blowing. We will definitely come back to sample more of the menu. Hummus (4/5) 4.99-had paprika and cheese topping. -Avocado Toast (5/5) 6.49- had red pepper chili flakes on top, the avocado was fresh, and the bread was thick and fresh tasting. Chipotle Chicken Melt (5/5) 13.49- probably our favorite sandwich, bread was toasty and fresh, sauce was flavorful, but not overwhelming in amount or flavor. Hearty Meatballs 5.99- my son wasn't a fan, but I didn't try. Pretty saucy, so if you like that these are great. Turkey & Brie (3.5) 11.59- decent sandwich, Brie didn't compliment it well though. This location gets packed during lunch even though they have plenty seats inside and few outside. Friendly and patient staff works here also. The kale/butternut squash salad we had was tasty. Kale was really fresh and dressing paired nicely with the salad. The triple club sandwich was really good too. The seasoning was also perfect with toasted bread. I heard a cookie calling my name and walked over to Wildflower. I usually purchase the oatmeal cranberry and decided to try another. Instead I got the chocolate hazelnut sea salt cookie. Service was super nice and quick. They had something for everyone- even our picky eaters. The butternut squash was delicious and when it was over I wish I had more! Sandwiches were reported delicious as well. And the salad was said to be one of the best. I will say the Mac and cheese for me was "ok" and the person who ordered the potato cream cheese soup - got it for the fact that it had cream cheese yet the soup itself didn't really have that flavor. Trying to eat healthier, so decided to try Wildflower....got a salad with salmon (great!) and soup and half sandwich.....sandwich was great, soup was the problem....one would think potato and cream cheese soup would be thick and creamy right? This was watery. It had clearly broken (emulsification failure).....this can be caused by many factors, one of which I will never discuss.....but during my consumption I discovered zero real potatoes, but rather what appeared to be instant potato flakes that had not yet taken on enough moisture to expand in order to thicken said soup. Well they ended up expanding in my stomach like undercooked rice! Not comfortable at all......everything else was quite enjoyable and will return....but that soup needs attention read more

One of the girls working there told us it was a common complaint when this specific manager was working and he wouldn't change the thermostat. First time eating here...we were in the mood for a cute sandwich spot. We got Reubens, which were pretty good & very enjoyable. Just the right portion size. The server who brought it out to us was very nice, but that was the extent of their service experience. Have never walked into a food establishment before & was not greeted, welcomed or acknowledged in any way. It was so noticeable, it felt weird. People at the registers either weren't there, ignored us completely, or just stood there staring into space. We actually had to approach one of them after awhile to ask if they were ready to take our order when we were the only ones standing there to give our order. When we went to get drinks, an employee was about to fill it with ice. We were standing there while she blocked the machine, then she asked - oh, did you want to get a drink? We said yes, but if it needs ice, go ahead of us. She said, no, it has ice, go ahead. She left all her equipment there blocking the fountain & we had to stretch & twist to reach around it to get our drinks. This was just weird. Didn't have very high hopes for the food, but the server who brought it out was like a breath of fresh air and actually had some basic hospitality skills. The sandwiches turned out to be good.
