Great experience just shy 5 stars because there's a bit of a wait. But very worth it see the bodega breakfast burrito loaded with eggs and some potatoes. Like how they crisp up the outsides! Their green thick salsa is terrific too. Wish there were stickers with pricing for popsicles, wine, things in shelf in fridge. Used to be called San Marino Cafe.

Service here is just Great! The staff here were so sweet and friendly and helpful because I didn't know what to order. Cat (staff) & Jayden (staff) recommended me to try out the Breakfast Burrito and it hit the spot, like literally! It was just so perfect and so good to start my morning on the right path. Highly recommend for you to try this Breakfast Burrito. The ambiance here is amazing because it's located right at the corner of S. Euclid Ave & Mission St. and this street or "mini" downtown looking street is cute and a great place to relax and eat with friends or with family. I highly recommend this place to try for anyone. 5/5 stars

Lemon chicken orzo soup w bread: The most delicious lemon chicken orzo soup. The soup was seasoned perfectly and hit the spot! The bread was sooooooooooo good! I believe it was a rustic white but it kind of reminded me of sourdough? Incredible. 5/5 Banana brulee latte sub matcha half sweet: This was interesting. It kind of ended up tasting like dried apricots. There are some toffee notes in the banana syrup so maybe that's why. Lavender matcha: Absolutely phenomenal! It pairs incredibly well with the pastry and isn't too sweet despite me not making any adjustments! So good hot so make sure to finish it quickly or the matcha might settle on the bottom and the foam will get cold! 5/5 Apple crumble danish: The best pastry I've had in a while! And it was heated up so perfectly! A lot of cafes don't warm up their pastries enough but it was perfectly toasty and crisp! The layers were so light and crisp and the sweet filling was divine with small apple bits on the top and crumbles at the top. It is definitely on the sweet side but honestly it's so well done that I don't mind. Pairing this with a less sweet drink is key! Lavender matcha worked well but prob a coffee would be good too! 5/5 Also the service here was incredible! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

Came here after a Sunday lagree class, and we decided to order a breakfast burrito. The cashier was great, but the burrito took a while to come out ~ about a 15-20 minute wait. They were pretty busy for a Sunday morning, so it was understandable. I'd rate the burrito a 7/10. It was filling, but I mostly tasted the potatoes, so I didn't get as much of the other flavors as I was hoping for. I'd still come back to try other menu items though. This place has a small, cozy, community feel; there were a lot of locals eating and hanging out. Parking in the front was readily available.

Freshly baked bread alert. Come get it when it's hot. Their sandwiches are hot and delicious. Short rib sandwich is my fav lunch sandwich since it's marinated for hours before serving. Every bite so satisfying with soft bread. My fav breakfast sandwich is the breakfast egg sandwich with tomato/cheddar. Makes tummy happy with a warm breakfast sandwich. Piccadilly Grace is open 8-3p daily with outdoor seating only. Nestled in the center of South Pasadena off a busy street Fremont. Outdoors views are super serene and cute community garden views. Staff is hardworking and kind. Small parking lot but plenty of free street parking. Evenings is a smash burger pop up thats really good too.

Overall pretty nice spot for a quick casual brunch in this part of town. Plenty of parking around the area near the front of the shops. I got the farmer's daughter salad. This was super filling and I loved the candied nuts that added a nice texture to the whole salad. My fiance enjoyed his breakfast burrito although it was not as big in portion from what I could tell compared to the salad. The elixir was alright if you enjoyed mint but I'll probably stick to matcha next time.

GOOD FOR LUNCH ================ My husband and I rode our bikes from La Canada to San Marino Cafe on Sunday, April 6th. They have several tables outside along the side street, so it was easy to just park our bikes by our table. That was nice, so we don't have to worry about locking them up. I made the mistake of ordering a glass a wine because it took them at least twenty minutes to bring that. We were almost done eating by the time it arrived. The red wine was also bad and warm. It wasn't a very generous pour for the price either. I might be better off bringing my own. The food was great though. My husband ordered the Italian sandwich and he liked that a lot. I loved the chopped salad with scoop of tuna salad. We would definitely get those again.

Very friendly service. Great ambiance. Pesto sandwich - a big delicious sandwich, can be shared with two. Market salad - also massive, can also be shared with two. I didn't like the onion vinaigrette but they were kind enough to replace it with the Asian salad dressing. Latte - perfectly extra hot as requested. I would definitely come back :)

Been a few times and love the area. The food is great and came out quickly. Their potatoes are so good highly recommend!! The seating is comfortable but it can get packed pretty quickly. They have a handful of options for breakfast and lunch as well as a few pastries. I have yet to try their drinks but they have a solid selection offered. It's a nice place to study or catch up with a friend. I'd recommend and think the plates are reasonably priced

Cute place to grab a bite and patio seating. The service was great and attentive, especially it being our first time here. We got some sunrise breakfast sandwiches which consisted of egg, arugula, tomato, house spread, and your choice of meat protein (as desired). No cheese although I'm sure if you request they can add that (not sure if for an add-on fee). They also have some curated specialty items like wine, spreads, and bread if you want to grab some items for a picnic.

Came here when headed to the library and it was perfect. The building is cute and the parking was plentiful on a Sunday around noon. We were able to head in a grab a seat once we ordered. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and a Diet Coke and the sandwich was perfect. The chicken was moist and not overcooked and the bread was so soft. I will probably dream about this bread for a while. This place is super quaint and there were a number of folks studying/working as well as some socialization happening. It seems like a great place to do all of the things as their beverage menu includes coffee and alcohol as well as bottled/canned soft drinks. Overall, this place was just what I was looking for and I am happen we got a chance to stop.

After visiting the Arlington Garden, my husband and I stopped in this cafe. Good business! It is not cheap, however, the food is delicious, super quality, the vodoo vegan sandwich is incredible! The service is nice, friendly. The ambiance reminds a small coffee in Europe. I'm the same way so Californian. The portion is big, so you can share if you don't eat too much.

Rich and robust iced coffee coupled with a fantastically delicious breakfast burrito. Combination of scrambled Eggs, potato and cheddar with a zingy salsa was a mouthwatering fiesta. No exaggeration!! My friend had the Asian salad which seemed to be on every table. If you're in a rush, this isn't the place to pop by during lunchtime unless you've ordered takeout online. We had plenty of time, and the tasty freshly prepared lunch was definitely worth the wait. We split the pear Frangipane/tartlette. How good was it? Next time we're not sharing!

It consisted of lettuce, avocado, corn, black beans, jicama, tomatoes, onion, quinoa, krispies, kale, cilantro, and cotija. The lettuce wasn't too fresh and there were some that were yellow green but not a big deal. It was packed with flavor even without the chipotle vinaigrette (relieved I got it on the side because I wasn't s big fan). The avocado was very fresh and plentiful. I added chicken for extra $4.74 and it was very tender! Overall, I enjoyed the salad but a bit pricey so it was a good one time experience! The Chicken Pesto Caprese ($14.10) was pretty good. It consisted of chicken, mozzarella, red peppers, pesto, and mixed greens. The greens were very fresh and the sandwich was packed with flavor. The chicken was a little dry but not a big deal. There was a lot of red pepper and it was a bit overwhelming so I wished there wasn't so much. Really enjoyed the pesto since it it wasn't too salty and was the cherry on top to the sandwich! I also really liked that the bread was soft and fresh. Got the "Not so Fried" Chicken Sandwich ($13.68) - 1/2 portion and it came with a side (paid extra $1.26) for tomato basil soup. It consisted of chicken, krispies, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes, onions, and herb aioli. The bread was very fresh and soft. I'm glad I got this in half portion because I thought this was just ok and nothing special. The tomato basil soup was very oily and salty so wasn't too enjoyable. The Pomegranate Mint Lemonade ($5.10) was sooo sweet. It was refreshing but the mint was a little too overpowering. Definitely recommend adding ice and/or water otherwise it's way too sweet! Overall, the sandwich and salads were a bit pricey but definitely one of the better spots for sandwiches and salads in terms of quality and quantity!

While the menu is the same, the Highland Park spot on York Boulevard has more ample seating (with a diner-style setup along with some sidewalk tables), and I've also found the service to be more welcoming than the other Ggiata location. While both locations manage a lot of to-go orders, I've found that my orders are completed promptly when I've ordered in person at this newer branch. During my most recent visits I ordered the crispy chicken Caesar wraps, and my experience has varied. While I enjoyed it the first time I ate it, the filling ratio was off the second time (with an inordinate amount of Romaine lettuce compared to chicken). While I would not go out of my way to order at Ggiata, it's a decent option if I'm in the area and craving a sandwich.

The beef pho meat pie definitely had the pho flavors and aromatics. This was absolutely delicious! The Popcorn Pork was good, not as aromatic as the pho pie. The flavor was lacking on the Taiwanese popcorn chicken basil flavor that it claimed. It reminded me more of a Vietnamese meat pie (pate chaud), which is peppery with a smoother texture that this one did not have, but it was still flavorful. The bread pudding was good but the texture was more dense reminding me of a banana bread loaf. I didn't care for the dollop of yogurt on top, which took away from the flavor of the bread pudding itself. Hubby said the Classic Aussie was good but was expensive for the size of the sandwich (small burger size). Hubby got the Long Black coffee which was good, but sadly my iced matcha latte was lacking in the matcha flavor. It was very pale in color and tasted mostly of milk. Service was quick and friendly.
