a variety of food being served at a buffet

Love love love this lain. Plenty of parking. Very welcoming space and employees. Everyone is so nice from the time you enter to departing. The food line is fresh & hot at all times. I highly suggest trying out the red velvet cake. It is phenomenal!

Surprisingly, the food was pretty delicious. I enjoyed the chicken tenders, salad and mac n cheese. Everything was fresh and the hot bar actually had hot food and not lukewarm. I would return for another round of the tenders.

I usually enjoy visiting Picadilly, but on the last couple of visits, I've questioned the cleanliness of the people serving the food. On one visit, I ordered food to go. The lady packing the food placed her bare hand in one of the containers and was about to put the food in it. I had to ask her to get another container because her hand was in it. On my last visit, none of the servers had on gloves and all of their fingers were touching the food in the bowls. I submitted a complaint online and never received a response. I can no longer continue eating here because this type of behavior is starting to look like a pattern.

My dogs didn't care if it tasted like fish!

It's very obvious this is batch-prepared food. Kind of like let's throw some stuff together to fill the troughs and feed the cattle (people). The food was barely warm. Broccoli rice has little to no flavor. Worse than that is the chicken tenders. It's clear they cook them in the same oil as the fish. I don't like fish, and don't want my chicken to taste like fish. The coating is soft and mushy, not crispy at all. They give you 3 generous sized pieces, but they are nasty. I brought the chicken home to give to my dogs as a treat because they don't care if it's fishy tasting.

Just amazing with mouthwatering food. Manager is really friendly and so are the employees here. You can never go wrong with any of the food here. Never interrupting and the bad reviews are just haters that have no taste in DELICIOUS food.

This Piccadilly had decent food and really friendly service. The prices have gone up a bit but it is still a good deal for all of the food.

One restaurant that locals constantly recommended to me was Drago's Seafood in Metairie, and now I completely understand why. I ordered the charbroiled oysters along with the crawfish platter that came with crawfish étouffée, crawfish mac and cheese, and fried crawfish. Every single thing on the table was incredible. The charbroiled oysters absolutely lived up to the hype rich, buttery, smoky, and packed with flavor. The crawfish platter was just as impressive and gave me a chance to try multiple Louisiana dishes all in one meal. What really stood out to me beyond the food was the service. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and patient with questions from someone who isn't from Louisiana and still learning the local food scene. You can tell they take pride in both the restaurant and the hospitality. The only downside is parking can get a little complicated because the place fills up fast, which honestly says a lot about how popular it is. Just plan ahead or expect a short wait finding a spot. Overall, this is one of those restaurants that feels genuinely loved by locals and absolutely worth visiting if you're traveling through the New Orleans area.

My bartender, Darryl, took fantastic care of me. Vibes in this place are very warm and cozy, I sat at the bar to the right of the entrance as you walk in. I had a half dozen char grilled oysters and a cup of seafood gumbo. I see why the oysters are so popular, they are a hit. Buttery and garlicky, the crusty bread they serve with them is a great compliment to soak up the sauce. I had originally intended on getting the chicken and andouille gumbo but Darryl steered me away from it, he said it was very salty. I trusted his word and went with the seafood gumbo instead and was very pleased with it. The flavors were fantastic, but I am gonna ding it ever so slightly as I think $8.99 is kind of an obscene price for that serving size, but at least it was good. Overall I'm very satisfied with my lunch and the service, I think if you like seafood and you're in their area, you should eat here. Edit - $9 for a pint is a little over the top too, imo. My "light lunch" was $42 before the tip.

The environment reminds me a dive bar by the water, not fine dining. Pia served us promptly with our drinks, gave her suggestions on the menu pointing out her favorites, and took our appetizer order. It took a little while for them to come out, but when they hit the table, they were the garlicky, buttery goodness I was anticipating. For entrees we had the bowl of gumbo and plate of red beans and rice with the grilled sausage. All the staples of the NO. The food was really good and left us satisfied. Unfortunately, my experience at the Metairie location was extremely disappointing. This was my second visit. The first time, they were out of oysters. This time, the oysters arrived with a noticeable, pungent odor and were extremely small. After trying the first few, I bit into the fourth and immediately knew it was bad. I notified the manager, Tiffany, who told me the oysters would not make me sick and offered to credit me for the ones I didn't eat. I found that response concerning and not the level of customer service I would expect when a customer reports a potentially spoiled food item. I will not return to the Metairie location. I'll stick with the New Orleans French Quarter location, where I've always had a good experience.
